My mother, my sister and I booked the relaxation day package at the last minute with no preconception of what it would be like other than we know it was at a 5* hotel at an airport terminal! We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome we received, the facilities, the food, and the exceptional treatments. The staff really tried to make us feel special and we had a wonderfully relaxing day and would recommend it to anyone. Would definitely go again!

The Spa suite at Sofitel is hard to find and due to waiting at the hotels reception desk plus their repeated misdirection ( possibly due to their slim grasp on the English language and weird elevator system) I was 10 minutes late for my appointment. I was told as they were so busy my treatment time would be shortened ( facial and therapeutic massage ). I requested that the time be taken off the massage. Even so the massage only extended to my neck and back....very disappointing as I had been on my feet giving a presentation all morning. Surely 45 mins is time enough to do legs also ! Then I was told not to use the steam room or sauna as I'd had a facial....if I had known that I would have gone earlier and used those rooms before. There was no instruction either on how to activate the different parts of the hydrotherapy pool. I was not shown the relaxation room....I saw it on the way out, and there was no sight of the chocolate strawberries which were included in the 'deal' either ! I got the feeling I was somehow inferior because I had a 'voucher' and hadn't paid 'hotel prices'. I loved the fact that it was the only client there, so am mystified as to why I was abruptly told upon arrival that my treatments would be shortened. I will be staying at this hotel every six months on business now, so I'm wondering if I'll be going back to the spa.

Loved the hotel and the staff. The description doesnt tell you that the 3 course meal is a set menu but food was lovely including the breakfast. The massage wasnt particularly great but my partner loved it!

A lovely break! Rooms were really nice, got room service for lunch (a little overpriced, plus had to pay £5 to borrow a corkscrew later in the eve?). We were a little late for our massage and had a shorter time than planned, the lady was very apologetic that she couldn't extend it as they were fully booked, which was totally understandable. The pool was warm (although I would have liked it a little warmer!) and steam and sauna were clean and spacious. Bathrobes towels and slippers were provided in the spa too which was nice! Overall, well worth it with the dinner and breakfast included, plus the 90 minute massage, would definitely recommend.

i have been at this hotel for valentine's weekend with my partner. Hotel is quiet big and well designed. The room was cleaned and comfortable bed ,hotel staff was nice but the package that we bought was a bit overpriced what we had.. e.g: spa facility of hotel was a bit weak comparing to their room capacity, jacuzzi pool was nice but was small and spa staff they are NOT TRAINED people at all, there was an indian lady she did 90 mins massage to me , i dont think she knows what she is doing and she wasnt polite with me , massage room was super cold when i said can we make it warmer inside ,she didnt do any solution so basically i didnt feel comfortable at all. The hotel need professional massage employee at their Spa. I dont think i will go back to that hotel again.

I attended this spa with my mother and sister whilst I was pregnant so was unable to use the jacuzzi and a few other bits, but outside of this I had a lovely day and felt completely pampered at the end of it. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The relaxation room went down a treat after a full body massage. Would definately recommend. Only downfall was it did not have a full size pool so I could only put my legs in the jacuzzi area.
