Booked a special birthday treat for a friend . Three of us enjoyed spa facilities with half hour treatments and cream tea. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Lovely sauna and we also enjoyed the spa. Pool was full length for nice swim. An amazing day and my friend loved her birthday treat. Cream tea was delicious and presented beautifully.
The spa technicians were lovely along with the treatment area but the lounge/food area is in need of an update and modernising.
Didn't like the gym and the squash courts only having glass divider from the pool. Would suggest a visit to better spa facilities for them to learn from like craxton wood or Crewe hall.
The spa is quite old and the facilities have seen better days. Also the pool area is shared with guests from the hotel so when we arrived there was a big group of families and children who were very noisy. I think it should be clear that the pool is shared.
The facial and massage were really good except it says 'manicure' and you can't call it that as it is literally just having nails painted and nothing else.
