The spa is part of the LA Gym, downstairs where all the changing facilities are. The space inside feels very limited although the treatment rooms are comfortable enough. The therapist was good, the facial was nice but nothing to write home about. Was a good experience, good value for money but I won't be rushing back.

The lady at the front desk was really nice. My wax was mediocre with a clinical feel. The therapist left a lot of wax after "finishing" meaning my socks and trousers stuck to me. My hairs are well rooted and she seemed patient to tweeze out the many remaining. I'm less patient. Should more have come out to start with? I don't know but I'm not a regular waxer but this didn't make me want to start

It was lovely to have a aromatherapy and massage, but I must say that I much prefer the beauty places on their own, not as a part of a gym facilities. But it's just me. The therapist was really nice though.

The therapist was really good. I've been really lucky as I tried others which I didn't like. And she also gave me 5mins more of massage. I could see she really like her job. Unfortunetely she's not working there anymore.

Really friendly therapist, nice enough surrounds, given that it's based in a gym, though definitely doesn't have a 'luxury' feel. The only thing was that within a couple of days, my face looked like i had a severe acne problem. I've never had this before with facials (the odd spot, yes, but this was probably 20 or 30 pimples over my face/forehead). don't know if it was the method or the product, but i wouldn't personally go back for a facial, though i enjoyed the massage.

I had the facial and massage and felt pretty relaxed after the treatments. The Imagine Spa was part of a leisure centre in South Kensington. The therapist was good and managed to deal with all the knots in my shoulders when doing the massage.

The experience was great. I'd highly recommend this to anyone. The salon is clean and the therapist is really friendly.

However the facility was limited as the salon is situated within a gym.

On entering the salon I wasn't particularly impressed with the surroundings in the 'waiting area', which was a bit cramped and busy. However, once I got into the treatment room, I had a fantastic experience. The therapist was brilliant and I had the best facial and massage I've had to date! It was really relaxing and I came out feeling very refreshed. The only drawback was that at one point I could hear small children shouting outside the room but aside from that I had a very enjoyable time and would definitely return for a massage here. The therapist was very knowledgeable and recommended some great products I could use in the future too.

I remember the spa when it was under a different management and was always happy with treatments received. That's why a booked in for a facial and a massage (not knowing owner's changed). The treatment room was right outside the reception area and a hallway that leads into the changing rooms. The reception staff & therapists (that were currently not busy with any treatments) had no consideration regarding treatments going on as were speaking, gossiping and talking so loudly the massage and facial ended up to be a stressful rather than a distressful experience. To make matters worse they had no relaxing music in the treatment room to take your mind off things, not that it would silenced the noise and chatter outside. Left a very unprofessional image and would never go back!! The treatment itself was ok, but not enough to make you want to go back.

My experience at the Imagine Spa was mixed.

The negatives: I was told that I did not need to decide which two treatments I wanted in advance and could instead specify on the day. On doing so I went in and requested the hot stone massage but was told that I could not have this as they had used all the stones for the day and the stones could not be heated on time for my treatment... not the best start! I was also told that the spa shower was not working (and had been out of order for some time) and so I would need to walk out of the treatment room through to showers in the ladies changing room (the spa is situated in the basement of LA Fitness Gym) in order to have a shower post-exfoliation which did somewhat detract from the treatment...

The positives:
The staff were very friendly and professional. The body exfoliation was great and very thorough and the massage was great. The therapist made a real effort and the massage was firm whilst at the same time relaxing.

Definitely good value for money, just a shame the ambience is lacking due to being located within a gym.

I have two 30mins treatments: Facials and body exfoliation. The therapist was lovely, the treatments really nice and relaxing. After that my skin was softer and I felt good. This spa is at the basement of the LA Fitness gym, but that was not a problem at all.

The whole treatment lasted only 45min. I was on time to be there at 2pm, waited 15 min, then treatment finished before 3pm. When I got dressed and checked my watch, I was very disappointed that it lasted less than what I paid for.
The spa is in the basement of LA Fitness suite and I could hear people passing by. The treatment room (I was in Treatment Room 3) was tiny and the shower drainage (I had shower after exfoliation) was half blocked.
There are better salons in London and I would not go to Imagine Spa South Kensington again.

I rang the day before my appt to reschedule as the snow was very heavy, given that I had to give 24 hrs cancellation notice, but was told I could leave my appt as is and ring the following day if I had problems getting in. When I called the following morning I was told that my appt was non-refundable and that if I couldn't make it I would forfeit my voucher. A bit off considering it was the heaviest day of snowfall and very limited transport running at all, and it was a Saturday. Plus I also called the day before to check and they had numerous cancellations that day too. Anyway, I rescheduled my appt for later that afternoon and after a 3 1/2 hr trek to South Ken, I finally made it, albiet 10 minutes late still. My therapist Penny was lovely and the facial was a real treat, particularly after the trek I had getting in. The products were lovely and my skin certainly did look cleaner and radiant after my treatment. One thing that did put a dampener on my treatment was the fact that the handbasin which is situated in the treatment room was continually used by the therapist which isn't very relaxing hearing the tap go on and off all the time. But I did have a lovely facial and head massage by the therapist which more than met my expectations. I also bought some of the products which were used as a Xmas treat for myself and the receptionist also gave me a complimentary express facial voucher as well which was a nice touch. The customer service at this establishment is excellent as well. Overall a very pleasing experience.

I have two 30mins treatments: Facials (Prescriptive Discovery) and Facial Additions. This spa is at the basement of the LA Fitness gym, therefore the toilets are shared with other gym users.

The facial itself was alright. It was good value as it was a Mobdeal, but I would not go again.

I went there with my boyfriend. I opted for body exfoliation (first in my life) and hot stone massage (first as well). I normally don't like the combination of gym and spa as you can never relax there 100% (the noise of energetic music etc.), it was absolutely transformed once the of treatment room was closed behind my back. I had a wonderful therapist (unfortunately I don't remember her name now) and the whole experience was a pure treat! I would recommend it to anyone.

Whilst the Imagine Spa is within a busy LA Fitness Club, don't let this put you off.
They have a wide range of treatments to chose from and look after you well. The rooms are small, but cosy and well soundproofed. I was really pleased with the two treatments I had and left feeling relaxed and wanting to come back again!

I had a massage and facial at this spa and while the treatments themselves were good it was let down by the venue itself. As the spa is attached to a gym it got quite noisy at times and I could clearly hear screaming children which at times killed the ambiance.
The therapist was nice but my friend told me later that her therapist had asked her questions about what she wanted out of the treatments and wrote down all the products used in the facials for her including skin care tips and what sort of daily skin care maintenance she needed to do for her skin.
I think if I was to go again I would check and make sure I went at a quiet time of day.

I had a Body Exfoliation treatment and a facial which were both nice and relaxing. After having those treatments done I just wanted to go home and sleep.

My therapist Melina was very nice and friendly.

Location is in the basement of LA Fitness so it is quite busy with people walking past to and from the gym. Reception staff were pleasant as was my therapist. The manicure and pedicure gave a good result though were quite basic - I should have probably booked the more expensive treatments that were on offer so I felt I was getting more for my money! My friend had a facial and massage and was very pleased with hers.
