I went for a Weekday Spa Getaway and have awarded it 4 stars.

Myself and girlfriends make a special effort to get time out of our chaotic routines ,to thoroughly relax at the sanctuary spa , as soon as our gowns are on our shoulders drop a few inches ,I don't know which part of the day is the best ,is it the massage?, is it the lounging about in the so very relaxing atmosphere?, or is it the cheeky champagne cocktail at the end ? I can't decide, I will just have to keep going !!

This was my second visit. Lunch was pleasant and tasty, the restaurant is good but a bit pricey. My sister and I relaxed and had a nice day, enjoyed our facials, used all the pools. We went on a very cold day, so I was disappointed that the Koi Pool and lounge were both too cold for comfort. The water was positively uncomfortable so we couldn't relax in the pool and on coming out, the lounge was much too cold for people who are still wet in swimsuits. In winter, please check the ambient temperature and the water too.

I was really looking forward to my day at The Sanctuary. We had booked a champagne spa day which included a glass of champagne and an hour long facial for £150. On arrival we were told the showers were not working as there was no hot water. We decided to use the pool and jacuzzi in the morning and treatments and chill in the afternoon. Alas the pool also was not working as they couldn't get a lifeguard. There is no gym so the morning was lost and the other facilities crowded. The redeeming feature was the facial was excellent. Spa was messy with towels thrown everywhere and sharp areas in spa pool. We tried to complain and fell on deaf ears. I did it in writing a week ago and no reply received. There are definitely better spas in London which are cheaper.

Went here on a Saturday as part of a large hen group and couldn't fault the place for our day. Although it is mega pricey for a weekend (I'd definitely only ever go again on a weekday when it's cheaper), the staff were fantastic, the place was spotlessly clean and we enjoyed all parts of our day. The chillout areas were so comfy, and the swing in the pool was a good laugh. Don't walk past the jacuzzi by the stairs on the way to the larger swimming pool either - it's so warm and luxurious! We had afternoon tea as part of our package too and i have to say that the sweet treats were absolutely delicious. The Sanctuary range of shower gels and facial oils were also a welcomed surprise in the shower and changing areas - a smothering of luxury face oil after a long day of swimming, steaming and relaxing felt amazing!

First time at the Sanctuary, it was a lovely day out. Good location howwver very odd layout of palce and too many floors/stairs. The relaxation area with bridge was very relaxing and peaceful. We did the sleep easy therapt also which was different but helped us unwind and relax. Small sauna and steam for such a raved about palce. Overall it was a average day.

i think we were lucky to have chosen a day that wasnt too busy. Staff were great getting friend a robe that was comfy. Having to share a rasul mud treatment wasnt so great, no one would remove clothes or wear paper undies in front of strangers! the mud was different from a previous rasul in another spa, and didnt seem to dry on before the steam kicked in. For the price we paid i think it should be limited to groups of friends, rather than having to share with strangers!

was a bit pricey for food and drinks, which i think is unecessary as we would have bought more if the prices had been a bit lower.

some people saved chairs/beds even going to the point or removing someone elses belongings after a member of staff had cleared the saved bed for someone else to use!

overall a good day for the deal we had, wouldnt have liked to have paid full price though!

Was great value - and although the treatment I added was expensive it was very good. Was a bit crowded at one point in day but overall not too.bad. Cup cake and bucks fizz was added bonus.

What a perfect "Me Day". The facilities are 5*, not too crowded, the staff are amazing and the 35th anniversary cupcake and Bucks Fizz a great surprise, the food delicious. I've been coming to the Sanctuary for over 30 years it never disappoints. No where else compares.

Despite being on my own, my experience at the Sanctuary was thoroughly pleasant and enjoyable. A great way to unwind. Will not think twice for a return visit should the opportunity arise.
Staff were very welcoming and pleasant

place is lovely as are the staff who couldn't be more helpfull. it is a very relaxing day with wonderful facilities. My only gripe is the food which is very ordinary and overpriced. £10.95 for a chicken wrap that wasn't as nice as the ones you can buy in marks and spencer for £3.00. And how can a place located in Covent Garden be out of olive oil and olives?
Massage was fantastic , one of the best I have had. But beware the pedicure, nail varnish applied at 1.30, smudged horribly when I put my shoes on at 5 45.sadly I didn't notice until I took my shoes off when I got home or I would have gone and mentioned it.

We absolutely loved this spa! Place is absolutely stunning, wasnt too busy as we went on a weekday. Great to relax for a day, would definitely recommend it! The staff could have been a bit friendlier, but other than that, it was brilliant!

Spend an afternoon in the spa using evening bliss voucher. Facilities were amazing, exactly like on the photos and very clean. I was afraid that the place may be crowded, but it wasn't. 20 min mini facial was part of the package - it was quite disappointing and very rushed, I would not recommend it. Also sleep retreat was boring... Apart from that a great and relaxing afternoon.

Really nice relaxing experience. Definitly recommended! Place looked clean, staff were helpful and friendly, and very convenient to get a treatment after work to unwind.
staff were very knowledgable when enquiring about products used and treatments offered.

Really enjoyed this event! Was awesome to have a glass of fizz and nibble on a mince pie while I had a relaxing hand massage.
Was useful to find out about the different things on offer and didn't feel pressured into buying anything, which is something I have experienced with other 'open' days.

It was a great shopping event, it was lovely to see inside the spa and see what treatments were on offer if i wanted to purchase a spa day voucher at some point. It was a really nice atmosphere, you was not under pressure to purchase anything.really loved the look of the spa inside and out.

I had a glass of bubbly and a mince pie in such a festive environment. It was great them offering discounts for treaments, pity you could take up the offers after the event, it was lovely and would definately go to an event like this.

I loved this shopping event, it was lovely to see inside the spa and see what treatments were on offer if i wanted to purchase a spa day. There was no hard sell and i wasn't made to feel like i had to purchase lots of products.

The hand massage was lovely and it was really nice to have a glass of bubbly and a mince pie in such a festive environment. I only wish i had taken up the offer of a discount on booking a spa day.

I would definelty go to an event like this again.

I absolutely love this place. I am always going for the same facial oxygen and collagen facial. t's wonderful, the therapist Amy is very friendly and professional, room is nice and dark so you can just switch off. It's a 1,5 hour long facial which includes arm and bust massage too, the result is visible right away, your skin will be glowing. Can't wait to be back. x
