This is a hidden gem in the busy London environment. The staff are super friendly and they all know what's included in the other so you don't have to keep explaining things all day. The facilities are well looked after and the pool isn't full of chlorine so your skin feels nice after a swim. It's a Lovely place and I'll definitely go again.

Aptly situated in a cosy, isolated corner by the fields on Alexander Palace is the beautifully stunning and elegant Laboratory spa of Muswell Hill. The experience certainly lived up to my expectations. I was particularly captivated by the etiquette of the staff who indeed exceeded my expectations with their flair for bespoke customer service. The cleanliness was virually flawless. Other highlights include the fabulous Jacuzzis, day spa guest room, healthy selection of complementary herbal tea's, water, juices and smoothies. Gym facilities are also in impressive abundance. I participated in an intense boot camp fitness class before unwinding in the jacuzzi. I've never experienced such an intense workout -just what the doctor ordered! I will be frequenting the Laboratory spa in the new nearly future -HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Welcoming atmosphere, our greeter Sam was amazing, she explained everything fully. However I would say that it was a little uncomfortable being placed in with a couple, add it was a girly Spa Day for us also there were only the loungers in the room and there were 4 of us. The couple who arrived prior to us had drank all the fruit water. Overall a wonderful spa trip, and would definitely do it again but request to be placed with a non couple if possible

We had an Spa Day in July.
The staff was nice and friendly.
The lunch was delicious and enough.
Swimming pool and spa bath was nice too, especially, I loved, that it wasn't too busy.
We have got gifts too.
We had a relaxing and nice day.

The day spa room next to the swimming pool was extremely relaxing. The lunch was healthy and nutritious and the unlimited juices, water, teas and coffee was excellent. All complete with a small Espa gift to take home - all really good value for money.

Our day pass for Labspa was booked as a birthday present for a friend and I (by us but on behalf of our husbands!). As a members only club, you pay via Wahanda for entry which gives you full access to all facilities, lunch and unlimited drinks. In addition, you then pay for all treatments on top. It is not the cheapest package around but I really feel that you have to pay more if you want that bit more. My friend and I are both used to nicer things , having stayed at some wonderful 5* hotels, and we were surprised at how lovely our day was. From the first moment I contacted them to arrange the day, to the time we left , the staff were amazing. Rebecca who organized our day was wonderfully helpful and friendly. Sam on the front desk gave us a really warm welcome which really set the tone for the day. We were made to feel extremely welcome by everyone. Looking a bit lost at times, the other members were quick to show us our way.The facilities are very well maintained and super clean. It is not a health resort or country club so don't expect that but do expect a first rate gym with modern equipment , busy classes, pool, sauna, jacuzzis and steam room, plus first rate beauty therapy. Day guests can use all facilities and have their own dedicated relaxation room. The treatments that we had were amazing and the therapists could not have been nicer, even putting up with me falling into a deep sleep during my facial! Lunch is described as "light" but unless you eat like an ox, you will not go hungry, and the fresh juices are delicious. As we left, we realised my friend had misplaced her Kindle and the lovely cleaning lady retraced our steps until she found it. I really wish we had a place like this nearer to where I live. Thank you to everyone for making our day so lovely .

I decided to treat my Mum to an Indian Head massage at the Lab Spa for her birthday. I went along with her and decided to have one too, a decision which I don't regret in the slightest. The whole experience was amazing and both me and my Mum came away feeling completely relaxed, totally refreshed and wanting another treatment already! I have had one Indian Head Massage previously and I wasn’t too impressed, but my Mum is a big fan which is why I booked her in for treatment. She convinced me to try having one again and I am so grateful I did as this time round I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I will definitely be a frequent visitor at the Lab Spa as the whole day was wonderfully relaxed and enjoyable and I am keen to try out some other treatments on offer there

I have been to quite a few spas recently and can safely say The Laboratory Spa & Health Club in North London has come up trumps! When I arrived the staff were all very friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I stepped through the door. The club itself is very beautiful and the facilities are second to none. I was looking for a facial that was relaxing but offered brilliant results at the same time, this is exactly what I got. The experience was just what I needed and I would definitely recommend the club to anyone in the area. The Lab Spa is definitely the most luxurious spa I have tried and it will now be my place of choice every time I need a day to truly pamper myself!

I feel like Play-doh. In my book, that's good news. My back and shoulders were killing me and I needed a massage, so I booked a session with Roberto Silvestri at the Laboratory two days ago when I went to enquire about membership (which unfortunately is currently out of my budget).
I got there early just in case, funnily enough I wasn't offered a glass of water so I asked where I could get one and I went to the juice bar.
The facilities are excellent: I am particularly interested in the swimming pool and jacuzzi, currently there's no membership option just to use these facilities, you need to get a general membership including classes and training. Shame.
But let's talk about the massage: the sign of a good massage is to get what you need in the way that you want. The massage delivered and exceeded expectations. The massage therapist Roberto is also an acupuncturist and sports massage practitioner specialising in orthopaedic treatments. His wealth of knowledge and excellent technique did the talking.

Muscles eased, tendons released, stress gone. Full marks, I will come back.
