There was a lot of hair left in certain areas where wax hadn't even touched. It was shoddy and seemed to be done as quickly as possible.
Another thing was the hotness of the wax - Everybody's skin sensitivity is different, the notion of there being a set 'just the right temperature' for everyone is ridiculous and incorrect approach to intimate waxing.
Brazilian Waxing
The venue was lovely, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The only concern I have is that since my bikini wax, my skin has been really sensitive. The wax was incredibly hot when she put it on, so I think it may have burned my skin slightly.
Also, I selected a certain time for my appointment using the app, but received a call saying that time wasn't available.
I would definitely return to this spa, I will just make sure I talk through which wax they are using first. :)
Ladies' Waxing
Nice venue. Calm, relaxing environment with comfortable treatment rooms. Courteous staff and treatment done to a high standard. A little expensive for the treatment compared to other venues.
Eyebrow and Eyelash Treatments
Relaxing environment, friendly staff and professional service. A little pricey though. Would visit again but only as a special treat.
Ladies' Waxing
The building is fab, and the range of treatments is great, the girls fit me in last minute aswell which was super. Half way through my massage however someone entered the treatment room, which was quite shocking, and then the same member of staff did, again, while I was dressing afterward. This somewhat spoilt the relaxation aspect of it for me - especially as they supposedly have "room engaged" notices on the doors! A little disappointing, especially as the massage was SO good.
