The deep tissue massage was intense - the therapists really worked out all the knots from all over the body. The room itself is pretty basic and didn't have a 'typical' massage surrounding of candles and relaxing music.

The quality of the massage was excellent but does wanted to flag that it felt more like a physio appointment rather than a spa!

Easy to book, they were flexible to fit me and three girlfriends in on the same afternoon. Great masseuse with good rapport, excellent massage. Very relaxing treatment. Good deal.

It wasn't a bad sports massage, but I have had better. Maybe it was just that I didn't book a long enough appointment....I just felt it took the therapist a little bit longer than I would expect to find the trouble spot.

Second tension relieving massage here but with a different therapist: she did a cranial massage which actually hurt my head. The pressure was much firmer than previous massages but it did help my aching shoulders.

I think the best massage i have had. She knew where the knots were straight away without needing to find them. Very impressed. The music was a little upbeat for my liking. The face rest was good - the first one which hasnt hurt my face.

Made a booking due to an ongoing shoulder/neck pain caused by being desk bound and carrying a heavy handbag. 30 minutes with Sara and I felt as if I'd been massaged for an hour. Am sure I nodded off. Just the right combination of pressure and massage to sort out my aches. Great being able to book online as I never would have discovered the Happiness Centre without Wahanda.

The premises are near Shepherd's Bush tube in a house with an entrance you could easily miss. But step inside and you feel miles away from the street noises, in a relaxing atmosphere with very friendly staff. My therapist (I think she was Australian) paid attention to all my troubled arreas and left me relaxed and with a sprint in my foot. Surely I would return if they were to have some great deals.

I visit Margot Werner at the Happiness Center every Friday. As a sports/ massage therapist myself it has been such a hard task to find a therapist that is really good in the area, as most are very below average. Her technique is incredible and i always feel brand new when i leave. Without her weekly massages i would not be able to help others.
I highly recommend this lady!!!

A lady that was doing the massage was very amiable. She spoke English quite well, and it was very nice to speak to her in general. Some people, who work in Costumer Service, frequently make you shrug from their false smiles and sometimes just make you feel a can on the assembly line. She was not of that sort.

Massage itself was very good. I felt a rather professional approach during the whole procedure, which really lasted the promised time. When I left the cabinet, I felt light as a feather, relaxed and unusually happy.

I had an excellent massage here with Alex. She worked very thoroughly on my concrete shoulders, neck and back. I was impressed that she wasn't afraid to work deep into the muscles, it was painful but i think it was necessary for me just now. I was allowed to be quiet and relax into the treatment and Alex encouraged me to breathe properly which made all the difference to the painful bits.

I felt very good after the massage and felt it really complimented the osteopathic treatment i have been having. Also good value, an hours treatment for £45.

My only complaint is there was no consultation form to fill in and sign so it was entirely up to me to remember without any prompting to explain my problem and any medical issues, allergies etc to the therapist-not a good situation for her or me.

After putting it off for a very long time i finally made an appointment to see an osteopath about an ever present pain in the neck and shoulders. I was a little anxious as i didn't know any one who had had a treatment with an osteopath at The Happiness Centre. My appointment was with Tim Howard and i must say i was very happy with his work.

Tim conducted a thorough consultation with me followed by a full physical examination. He then explained clearly what the treatment would involve and went through the process of each manipulation before carrying it out. This was good for me as i have had osteopathic treatment before where the therapist did not explain what they were doing and it can be quite an alarming experience.

Another thing i noticed was the treatment involved a lot of soft tissue work before any spinal manipulations were carried out.

I feel much better and i was not told i had to go back every week for a block of treatments. If i have another problem that needs this type of treatment i would go back to Tim.

This is by no means a glamorous venue, located next to the recently renamed Shepherd Bush Market Tube. However it offers no nonsense, genuine, results oriented Pilates. The class room is on the top floor above the treatment rooms and is cramped but bright. They keep the classes pretty small, about 4-5 so there is enough room to do your stuff and plenty of individual attention from the instructor.

Because of the cramped nature of the building there isnt any proper changing rooms, i notced most people came already dressed for the class. I just got quickly changed in the toilet.

I completed a 6 week course of Pilates classes here and found the instructors to be capable, knowledgeable and attentive.

The atmosphere projected by all the staff struck me as all inclusive, whoever you are you are made welcome.

The administration could have been better. I paid in advance for another 6 week course which they then had to cancel. It took several weeks and quite a few phone calls to get my money back. However if i could find another course at a suitable time for me i would certainly go back.
