had a restyle done with brown and gold highlights and colour put in and I look fantastic!!! the guys who work in ginger group are amazing, within 10 minutes I was laughing with tears falling down my face and I felt so welcome which I think is so important was almost like a family of funky funsters! Jodie was the name of my stylist and a young lady with bright pink hair did my highlights and colour. I hope you get to read this thank you!!!
cannot wait to go back again but it has been 9 days already and my hair still looks like how it did when I walked out! So happy!

I booked an appointment online for 10am, arrived at 9.55am waited for 15mins shutters down no sign if anyone so gave up and went to Artisan they fitted me in and where amazing! I can't understand if you know you have an appointment booked in at 10am that no one would be there at least 5/10mins before. I have to arrive at work on time so shoukd they unacceptable

I'm a fan! The old team is back and The Ginger Group in Watford town is fabulous, fun, professional and rather original! To be honest, as I believe I'm the first person to write a positive review. I became a regular client about 4/5 years ago, where Jodie and young Ricky were in charge and it was the best salon for miles. Yet they left, and the new team were really not up to scratch (as past reviews are obviously saying!), and I stopped going to Ginger Group. Yet now Jodie is back in charge and young Ricky is back, which honestly makes me smile when typing!!! I walked past yesterday, the salon was buzzing, the music was playing and the clients were flowing in and out with smiles on their faces, so I decided to join the cue ... And am soo glad that I did! I love my hair!!! Thank you Jodie, absolutely spot on! And for the last couple of years, after getting my hair sorted out, day 2 and 3 were always touch and go. Thanks to Jodie, I'm a new woman! And I loved it soo much I went back with a bottle of bubbly to say thank you and book my next appointment, as I know soon the waiting list to get in there will be a good, well deserved while!!! 2 weeks later nearly however, my hair still looks and feels amazing. 5 STARS!!! WELL RECOMMEND! THANK YOU GINGER GROUP! :)

What went wrong? well just about everything!!!! I have asked for a particular colour, brighter than what i normally have, ended up with a darker colour than normally have?! My scalp was burning to the point that I could not go through washing, blow dry my hair.... Why? Because the very professional staff after she applied the first treatment and realised it is not the colour i want, she applied the second treatment and than the 3rd and she was willing to keep going until "we will get at least the same colour all over"?!?!!! I have made it clear that i am not willing to pay for this joke and been told that they pay for their products?!?!! How is this possible? To survive such experience you have to be blind: so you wont see the mess at the end; and you have to be deaf so you wont here the pathetic excuses from "hair stylists"!

I am writing to give you feedback of a recent experience I had at the Ginger Group Watford branch.

I was disappointed with my treatment. I bought the GroupOn Voucher (Hair cut, conditioning treatment & hair dye/highlights). On arrival, I was told that there was no record of my booking. After looking again, they found out that the booking was on a different name.

Overall the service is not professional. My hair dye was not done properly and this could be clearly seen. I opted for a brown shade (lighter to my natural hair colour) and it turned out very similar to my natural hair colour! They hadn't informed me that it would not work. Not only this, the service was appalling. There was no friendliness or even attempting to make conversation to say the least.

I would NOT recommend this branch to anyone, nor would I be willing to return to the salon. Would much prefer to go to Supercuts.

i was very disappointed with the brazilian treatment. I bought the voucher from Groupon for £68 it was valued at £265.When the Groupon voucher was mentioned to book an appointment .The response was it's fully booked (we don't take anymore bookings, i tried all the branches same response!!!)
When i've finally managed to book an appointment at watford branch the service was appalling, i was treated very badly ,i'v e been waiting for 2 hours to be seen.! The stylist was there but other customers without vouchers were given priority. I think that my stylist was a trainee, it wasn't a professional cut , neither the treatment was done properly . why are these vouchers sold if the customer is treated in this way .
i wont recommend anyone to buy tthese vouchers and me personally i wont return to any ginger group salon after this bad experience.
