I called last minute and was offered an appointment an hour later. The therapist was fantastic and the wax was virtually pain free. She was quick doing my full hollywood and even waxed the rogue bits that other therapists usually avoid. I will definitely be returning.

While the waxing service I receieved was good, the rest of my experience was terrible. My therapist who did my eye lash and eye brown tint not only managed to get alot of the dye in my eyes, she also got some of it in my hair (and I have blonde hair!). She didn't even noticed and I only realised when I got home. When I rang up the salon to complain, they were not very helpful but did promise that the next time I came in, my beauty services would be free and they would make a note of it on my file. When I rang up to book, the receptionist was extremely rude and refused to fulfil their promise of free beauty services (I was also going to get some waxing done which I was happy to pay for). The whole experience was extremely poor and I have since gone to another beauty therapist who is more expensive, but at least I know the service is going to be spot on!

This was very cheap wahanda deal and for the price it was good-i had a mini facial done. However in future i think i would pay slightly more for a longer treatment as the minifacial was good but over very quickly!

The facial was ok here at the Beauty Rooms in Hammersmith. My skin felt a bit better after the treatment. The staff were friendly. The facial didn't last very long though. It would have been a better treatment if it was double the amount of time.

I took my sister-in-law and niece here for a little pampering when they visited me for the weekend. I chose this venue because i had some Wahanda vouchers and they accept them here.

The treatments were of a good standard and both the receptionist and the therapist's couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. However the venue itself leaves a lot to be desired. When i first saw the place from the outside my heart sank as it looks like a tacky nail bar. I waited for the girls in the reception while they had their treatments and i noticed the floor was very dirty and the chairs dirty and tired looking. I was concerned what the treatment rooms were like but the girls told me they were quite small but clean and tidy.

Overall it seems like a good place to go for regular treatments as the standard is good and the staff are lovely but I wouldn't recommend it for ambience.

NEVER ever ever again!!!

Save your money and breath and e-mails and phone calls... I never got to book because in the middle of setting up an appointment the staff vanished!! no e-mails, which are the best way of communication for me by far, but also no pick up on calls when I started getting really worried why no one was answering my mails anymore.

Such a waste of my time and money.. of corse I never my money back. I'm so disappointed.

That was my very first visit via wahanda and i did not know what to expect, how i would be treated coming in with the voucher. Surprisingly all the girls were lovely, professional attitude, felt like a princess. It did encourage me to buy and try wahanda again. So maybe this salon is guilty of getting me addicted to our great wahanda website ;) Thanks everyone at Beauty Essence, keep on doing great job... x

I had never heard of this salon before.

I found the staff friendly and the therapist did a good massage and facial. I didn't like the manicure, but was happy with the other two treatments.

the facilities were clean and well kept and they seem to have loyal clients. Hearing the phone conversations while i was having my treatment i thought the staff were very polite and to the point.

The Salon is small but well equipped. Staff are friendly and the 31% off Hollywood Wax Princess Package which was excellent value for money. Therapist was lovely and the waxing was done quickly and efficiently. Will definetely go back.

Hair Removal - Waxing

I visited this salon with a Hollywood Princess package voucher in hand.

I was very well looked after. The beautician was Portuguese and very friendly. She was blowing everytime she was pulling the wax off my skin and checking if I was okay. She was also very perfectionnist and did not leave any hair. My eye brows were spot on too.

She said my legs hairs were not long enough, that she could wax them but I would have new ones the week after. Then she booked me in for the week after instead and it is still included in the package price I paid for.

Very pleased with the service!

My therapist was great, but the venue itself was average. We were also kept waiting when we arrived on time. I bought 2 vouchers for a manicure for my boyfriend and myself as he'd never had a manicure before. He was a bit disappointed with his experience - of course he didn't want his nails painted, but the experience if I remember correctly, was meant to be more than just a 10 minute treatment, which is what he got. I paid £10 which was good value, for a £25 treatment - but really, all I got was a file and paint - which is exactly how much it was on the flyer - £10 for a file and paint. I should have said something earlier, but the therapist I had was really lovely.

I had a "pick and mix" treatment here, 3 treatments for £50. They were very good with my changing my appointment date about five times before I went. The salon is pretty basic and a little 'scruffy', in the reception area there was a half empty bottle of mineral water and 2 plastic cups on the desk as refreshments, instead of a cooler or a fridge with small bottles of water. I was welcomed warmly, and taken downstairs for my eyebrow waxing. The therapist was pleasant and chatty. he decor was plastic flowers and a purple vase. There was a lot of noise from people coming up and down the wooden stairs so this is definitely not the place to go if you want to relax and drift away. The heater and bottles of wax were old and had old bits of hair on them which was off putting. It all looked in need of a good clean. The waxing was fine, not painful. I was horrified that when I was shown my brows afterwards, there was a bald patch on one of them. It wasnt there when I went in, and I told the therapist this, but she insisted it was there from before. Of course it wasnt! I was not happy about this but I could not do anything - it was too late anyway. She had also tweezed some of the smaller hairs out quite sharply and after a few days little red puncture marks came up as she had broken the skin. Not impressed. I then had a massage with a different therapist who was great, really friendly, really good strong massage, she really got the knots out! Nice and firm. She then did my manicure upstairs, in a BROOM CUPBOARD! That is where they do their manicures. There was hardly any room, made all the more so by a hoover being wedged behind me so I could not move my chair at all. On the back of the door was someones jeans, top and coat hanging on a hook which was not exactly an ambience-enhancer. It was a good basic manicure, no problems, and it lasted a week or so. The polish colour selection was not great. All in all, a scruffy salon that needed a good clean, very bad eyebrow treatments, and not enough room to make for a relaxing pampering treatment so I will not be going back.

I went for the hydrating facial. Its a small salon and a bit basic but the staff were lovely and it was a very enjoyable experience. My face felt lovely afterwards and it was very relaxing. Would Recommend to go to.

Really good value offer - certainly was the deciding factor for trying a new salon slightly beyond my usual neighbourhood! The premises here are fairly compact but every effort had been made to design and decorate the treatment rooms to create a sense of calmness and relaxation.

Excellent, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The staff were really friendly and gave me lots of advice on my skin and how to treat it. The facial was amazing and the extraction was very accurate. Will definitely be going there again.

I got the £10 Wahanda offer I got a brazillian bikini wax. My therapist was GREAT I am going back for certain. They had really good summer offers advertised, pedi, tan, bikini wax etc for a set price I forget the amount but very resaonable.

My therapist was very good, one of teh best bikini waxes I have had in a long time. I also found they have lots of other facilities there tanning, facials etc. The only downside is the location it is a bus ride away from teh tube station but worth it.

The place was difficult to find as it is says Hammersmith but is nearer Barons Court, so a good walk. The staff were very nice and good at their jobs but the facilitie weren't great, needs a little facelift.

I bought this for my friend who really enjoyed the experience. She had a wonderful chatty friendly therapist who listened to what my friend wanted and gave her a lovely natural finish. She even threw in a little extra conditioning for her eyelashes.. It was very professionally done.
