Arrived at hotel the views were lovely and was offered a porter to carry our bags.our room was a luxury twin with balcony overlooking grounds. The food was fabulous and very big portions. And the spa was amazing had a lava shell massage and facial made good use of other spa facilities. the staff could not have been any nicer and very helpful. Will defininetly be returning.
Amazing!! Will be booking again. The facilities were brilliant, the room was perfect and the staff catered for your ever need.
Large en suite room, modern decoration very clean bath and shower tea coffee facilities with fridge and room safe. The room location was very quite and relaxing with chairs and a table on a decking. balcony area. Large garden and grounds. Friendly and professional hotel staff. Staff very helpful. Restaurant Dinner food was delicious, drinks are expenses, but you can have tap water by the glass or jug. The buffet breakfast choice was ample and delicious. Bit of a wait for the tea and toast to be served on both mornings The spa was wonderful friendly staff clean fluffy towels and clean robes. Changing facilities were large and clean. The therapists were very friendly and the massages were fantastic. There is a nice relaxation room to relax in with a cup of tea or coffee after your treatment. The loungers by the pool were large and comfortable. The sauna and steam rooms were good. Overall we had a brilliant two days.
This was a lovely experience, the only thing that we had an issue with was the size of the pool in relation to the number of guests at the hotel. We went to the pool earlier in the morning and last thing in the evening because its not really big enough to cope with a quiet swim as an adult and with holiday excited children at once. It feels like there needs to be another pool that lengths can be swum in or that is more appropriate for children. It is a lovely pool, and we saw it and swam in it at a great time- golden time when the doors of the pool were open and you could look out across the landscape. But the food in the main restaurant was great, the rooms and views from the rooms were lovely. I would recommend The Cornwall and the area around St Austell.
Lovely, relaxing. Just what I needed. Back massage helped de-stress me and a couple of hours in the spa was great. Would definitely recommend.
