Sadly the spa fell well below our expectations.
Needs a full renovation, mouldy tiles, broken switches and a musty smell everywhere - peeling paint on all the ceilings and no extra dry towels for when changing. We even had used flip flops in different sizes.
I've been to better public pools.
The hotel itself is lovely so it's strange they have left the spa go to such rack and ruin yet charging full market rate for treatments.

Empty reception on arrival.
2 therapists came,Told to complete questionnaire they disappeared again telling us to leave the clipboard at the desk and go and change, not happy leaving an unattended desk with my personal info on it.I choose something that was completely different to what I had picked online so spent my treatment looking forward to something that never came.
It felt like v was ripping the skin off my face she was that rough, felt like cotton pads was soaked in nail polish remover

We had a treatment each (facial and massage), which we cannot fault. Very relaxing and the therapists were lovely.
Our only quibble is that the pool area could do with having the grout (in and out of the pool) re done. The relaxation room didn’t feel very luxurious or relaxing sadly. There was a lovely spa smell in the pool area which was nice, but the hydro seat did not work either

The therapist came to get us for our treatments late so the actual massage was barely 20 minutes.
Steam and salt room were great. Nowhere to 'relax' unless you are having a treatment and can use the relaxation room. There isn't a clock anywhere. Overall was happy with the spa morning but not 'wowed' enough to go back.
