Really nice location but the main hotel entrance was quite hard to find. The Spa itself is lovely and the staff was very accommodating. It felt really luxurious!

We didn't receive two of the five treatments, as the staff said you had to choose three only, I wish I had been told this before booking as that is not how the advert and T&Cs read. I was also not told this when booking the treatment times with the actual spa, I was unable to get through on the phone so booked via email, they did not ask which treatments we would like, just booked the three that they chose.
If you want to eat whilst your on your spa day, you will have to redress and go to a stuffy formal dining area, where unless you want to eat a steak you will have to sit in churns that gave coffee tables...
Not a great overall experience, I felt like the treat I had bought for myself and a friend was not worth the expense, we could of had a better experience closer to home.
I wasn't impressed that the paper nickers from the previous customer were left in the shower cubical area in the treatment room, and the fact that the shower in the treatment room only worked on cold to freezing cold. This shows that the showers are not cleaned properly in between guests treatments.

The treatments my mum and I had were great. The spa area is lovely, but unfortunately the access to the pool (across the hotel corridor) wasn't great and the pool area could be slightly improved. There are going to be refurbishments occurring in August though, so these issues could be rectified.

This was a great value for money spa day as we almost had the facilities all to ourselves and the massage and service in general were excellent.
Only small negatives was that there wasn't a quiet place to really sit and catch up as the only two rooms allocated to doing nothing were either waiting room or a space in the changing rooms where people were walking past all the time.
The cream tea as part of the day was very good (although I do think we should have been asked if we wanted chocolate chip scones instead of raisin). Overall highly recommended.

Overall it was a great day out. I booked this as a present for my mum and we had a lovely day. Pros were the quality of the treatments and the AMAZING afternoon tea with a view of Big Ben. Cons were the fact the steam room was broken and the pool and the changing areas were a little tired and not as clean as I would have hoped.

We had a nice day overall ..the spa is ok - the sauna and steam room are located in the women's changing rooms next to the showers and you need to walk through the hotel to get to the pool. It didn't really have a spa feel. There isn't a jacuzzi, just a pool which was being used by members to do lengths. The sauna was ok - extremely small and people were outside the door waiting for us to leave so they could come in. The steam room was out of order.

Staff in the spa were very friendly and got us herbal teas when we wanted them. The massage and facial were excellent.

The afternoon tea was tasty, however we did find hairs on a sandwich and a scone - staff did bring out fresh food to replace the hairy food! They had a large selection of teas, which you can smell and look at before choosing.

All in all it was a nice day but wasn't really the 'spa day experience' we were looking for.

Arrived at the Spa at 11:00am to be told that the facilities will be out of use to us today as they were having a refurbishment(!) a member of staff said someone should have called us to inform us of this (they didn’t) and that they should be back in use of 3:00pm that day. Rather disappointing as my mother had made a three hour journey down to London especially for the spa day. We were told we could still use the pool and have our massage and cream tea. We were not given a towel and had to ask a couple of times where to go and were shown a small changing room. It was completely unorganised.

Throughout the day I kept asking when the spa would be ready. It got to 4:00pm (5 hours of waiting) and we couldn’t wait any longer. Although we got to have a massage our day was mainly spent sat on a lounger waiting to be told more information. Nobody was very apologetic and didn’t offer us anything to make up for their mistake. It was a rather disappointing day and defiantly not worth £100.

Some confusion with the bookings and allocations of treatments, and the day dragged on a little bit (I was one of the first treatments at 11:30am and I didn't get out until after 5pm and my 3 friends had long finished and left) BUT the staff were wonderful, treatments were first rate and the facilities were lovely. I would go again.
