The staff were very friendly and welcoming and a great massage. This was followed by afternoon tea. My only feedback for the afternoon tea was that for a 5 star venue I would have expected loose leaf tea rather than tea bags. I also had to request for cream to go with the scones.
Other than that a nice venue.!
It was overall OK. The facilities were small and in my opinion it should be for two persons at a time. There is no pool and the receptionist seems to be the therapist as well
It's not good value for money 😕
The spa area and pool were small.
Our booking was constantly altered;
original booking, two people, spa session, treatments at the same time, in different rooms, and then lunch.
1. Changed to treatments one at 10am other at 11am.
2. Lunch changed to Afternoon Tea.
3. Kitchen shut down, no food available.
4. Treatments changed to both at 11.30 in a double room, with which we had no choice.
The treatments poor quality.
A glass of prosecco was given at my request.
Arrived 10.30am left 1pm.
Me and my partner had the romantic package massage for our anniversary recently. I chose thr deep tissue massage fot 1hr, my partner was able to split her session time between two selections. My partner went for facial and deep tissueThe spa facility itself is small. We were both beside eachother throughout the treatment it was very relaxing and rejuvenating. The spa facility is very small. Although, the jacuzzi was an amazing experience with complimentary water. The scenery is well designed
2nd Time visiting the Chilworth. Lovely and clean spa and very welcoming on reception of both the hotel and spa. The double room is lovely and relaxing, but the bed I was on needed replacing as was ripped. The massage was lovely, although last time I came we had like hot towels on our legs and the massage did feel a bit rushed. You are offered a mixture of treatments, which is fantastic. Would definitely come again.
