Written by our customers, so you know what to expect at each and every venue.
this spa day was a 50th birthday present from my daughter ,i must say i have never been so disapointed in my life i was expecting a pamper day but on arriving i found the facilities very poor only 1 sauna and 1 steam room a couple of beds a pool and hot tub do you people at banatynes really think that this is a spa experience there are more facilities at watermeadows or even derby road college . to be really honest the spa at banatynes is an absolute joke and i would only recommend that people DO NOT GO i only stayed for 30 mins as this is all it takes
This was a present for my fiance. The spa day for 2. I enjoyed the use of the gym, spa and swimming pool. It was very relaxing day for us. We also had a nice lunch there too. We would definitely come back in the future. Very happy customers.
Excellent venue with really good facilities. Particularly enjoyed swimming. The entire venue is spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly. Loved my facial it was really relaxing.
I visited the spa with my Mum as a Mother's day treat, we had a spa day including a 60 minute facial, head and back massage. We were very impressed with the venue and the treatment, all products used were very good quality and the staff were very professional and friendly. We also had full use of the facilities (gym, pool etc) and a product to take home with us so value for money was very good! I would highly recommend this, the only suggestion I could make to improve the experience would be to offer a drink whilst waiting for the treatment even if only water.
The gym is well equiped but I can iamagine if it was very busy it would feel quite closed in. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful. A complimentary coffee or tea on arrival would have been a nice touch. The changing rooms are nice and the pool area is clean and well maintained. Around the pool area, seating was a little lacking as there were only 3 sun loungers and around 4 chairs or so. Complimentry towels would have been appreciated. The lounge area was very quiet and comfortable. I had a lunch of jacket potato, salad and tuna mayonaise - nothing fancy but it was very nice. I had the Bannatyne Expert Facial and Massage - both the treatment and therapist (Charlotte) were fantastic. As I am quite local, it is highly likely I will continue to visit the beauty salon. Would I recommend it for a spa day? If you are new to spa treatments it makes for a nice introduction but for regular spa goers its not in the same league as say Ragdale Hall, Champneys or Eden Hall. Having said that tho' very good value and a nice treat.
