Absolutely fantastic. Have been telling people how great it was. I will be back. How they have adapted such an old building is brilliant. Food in the cafe and the staff were also great.

Was really a gym. Showers had no complimentary gels or shampoo. Wouldn't go back purely because it's a gym first, Spa after. Was embarrassed sharing a restaurant with clothed guests and very young children running around after they had had their classes we came out from the spa in dressing gowns. We ended up getting changed for lunch which meant not being able to use the facility's before our Treatments in the afternoon. For a health club Threstaurant menu wasn't particularly wholesome.

The therapist was nice, frierndly and halpfulI. I really enjoyed this massage. However I won't come back because I felt let down and short changed because of the way booking system is organised. I ended up with 35 minute massage whereas I paid for 60 minutes massage. If you are booked ( and paid for) an hour treatment it does not mean that you will get one hour treatment. The time taken to meet you, take you to the treatment , to get the room and you ready , then to tidy after in preparation for the next session is taken off you treatment time. The therapists (lovely ladies) are doing what they can considering that they having to working under this impossible conditions. Shame because it is a nice place with very good facilities.

The health club has a good swimming and sauna facilities however you will need to walk out of the spa area, along corridors and down the stairs to get to them. Nice relaxation area with heated beds but shame that they ate not tidied often enough by the staff, tissues and cups, spilled water on almost every bed side table. Spa robes are nice and cosy
and ambience is relaxing.

This is the second facial I have had here, both have been done by Alice, who is amazing. The advice she gave me on the first visit for my cleansing routine has dramatically improved the acne that I was suffering from, it's very nearly completely gone. I cannot recommend her enough. There is no hard sell on products afterwards, however the products that she did recommend, which I bought have been perfect for me. The swimming pool area is nice enough, it would be good to have a bigger sauna though, and some more beds as there are only a few. And one last thing which is not a deal breaker but a little awkward is the route from the swimming area to the Spa. You have to walk back through reception in your robe, which can be just slightly off-putting.

I had an absolutely fantastic day at Fairfield day spa. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The facial was blissfully relaxing. Cleanliness in the club is spot on. Facitities are very good in particular the pool and jacuzzi. You just wouldn't want to leave. Highly recommended!

Lovely setting, accessible with lots of nearby parking options. Warm welcome, great facilities, the swimming pool and spa area being my favorite. Following this with a back massage was bliss, sat on the heated beds first and relaxed and read a book, the treatment unwound lots of knots and tension and I left feeling a whole lot better.

Upon arrival the reception staff were very helpful and made us feel welcome. We were given a tour around the facilities which was good. We were offered robes and slippers for our spa day but we declined. We wanted to use the gym and then have our treatments but the downside is that you have to pass back through the main reception to the treatment rooms which are the other side. Not a problem if you are dressed and ready to go, but if you want to avail yourself of the robes and slippers it would feel a bit strange coming back out through reception which we didn't feel too comfortable with.
The treatment rooms were very relaxing and our therapists were most courteous and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my facial and cannot fault it. After our treatments we were able to relax in a communal area where there are tiled loungers that are heated. I didn't really like the way it was set up, like on a staging area and there was a eery cold feeling about it. Possibly its the old building that made me feel that way but it was like sitting on a lounger in church. I would recommend Fairfield if you have a treatment / workout agenda, but not necessarily for a chill out spa day.

My sister and I booked a spa day as a Christmas present for my mother and grandmother and thought it was a very good to have full use of the facilities and a 55min facial and take home product for £37.50. The location was ideal for us and the building itself is very impressive. The staff when we arrived were very helpful and nice and showed us round the facilities. When I had phoned to book the facial I was told that there was only 1 therapist who could do this particular facial at this venue so it would mean that our four facials were spread out across the day and we were rarely as a group altogether but this wasn't a deal breaker. The pool area and jacuzzi is really nice and relaxing and wasn't very busy at all. Lunch in the cafe was very nice and the waiter incredibly polite and helpful. However, my only negative points to the whole day were that the voucher stated we would receive a take home product - either a replenishing or a refreshing intensive mask. The therapist didn't give us anything so when I asked she said that this was a mistake by Wahanda and that they would take my name and details and get in touch with me. I'm still waiting to hear anything!!! Is slightly embarrassing for me as I had told my mother and g'mother that they would be getting a little product to take home as part of their present. Didn't appreciate this. Also, it stated in the treatment description that we would receive a hand massage during the facial which didn't happen. The therapist was nice enough and the treatment average but would have preferred it if I'd received exactly what I'd paid for. Venue top notch - treatment ok. May go back.

This is a lovely venue with exceptionally good facilities. You receive a warm reception on arrival and are able to use the small but enjoyable swimming/spa facilities. Enjoyed the back massage but would have liked the whole session as massage as the indian head for 15 minutes was less effective.

The treatment was not on time and was not as long as it should have been . The back massage and head massage were the worse massages I've ever had . The girls that did them were giggling throughout the treatment and just pushed their hands up and down my back very lightly in the same way throughout the whole treatment and would stop every so often for what seemed like quite a long time . The head massage that followed was very poor, no pressure and just felt like they couldn't be bothered . My wife had the same treatment at the same time and agreed it was very poor and extremely unprofessional and commented she had had better massages from her 5 year old !

This is a special spa set within a lovely leisure centre set within a housing estate. Does not sound great when you say that but the environment with trees and parkland is really nice to drive into and the leisure side is top class supported by a professional bunch of staff.
