Enjoyed the massage at Thai Square Spa - felt very relaxed after. Was surprised to have a male masseur, in Thailand and anywhere else I'd had one was only ever female. Although it was not a problem, should be noted before.
The facilities are good however there's only one shower and toilet so when there are 5 of us in the changing room it's got a bit crowded. Also we didn't get our flora foot bath which was included in our deal. We were asked to get change and go to the steam room but they didn't tell us that after using the steam room you don't need the foot bath before massage. So we did feel we'd been cheated not to have a foot bath. Lastly we didn't get our herbal automatically we had to ask for it! Overall it's a good experience but a bit disorganised.
i had no problems booking and the receptionist was really friendly. i was taken downstairs and given Thai pyjamas etc before going to the treatment rooms. and then bought to the steam room for half an hour before taking a quick bath n then to the massage room which the massage was very nice to say the least. overall a very nice experience.
When i arrived I was taken down to the spa- its was a really plush and well thought out. I got a package which include a herbal steam- unfortunately I sat for 20min in a towel without any steam!! They apologised, and more than made up for it by giving me a foot massage instead. The facial was very good, as was the back massage. I dont known whether I would pay full price for the treatment, as not good value for money.
Thai Square Spa was amazing. We had no problems booking and the receptionist was really friendly. When we arrived, we were taken downstairs and given Thai pyjamas etc before going to the treatment rooms. The place is very beautiful and the therapists are really friendly and professional. We had the foot massage, back, neck & shoulder massages and then relaxed in the sauna. We were offered tea when we arrived and again to relax afterwards. The whole experience was completely unrushed and we really enjoyed it. Although the spa is under the restaurant, you don't get any crossover between them and there is no noise etc. Next time, I would plan to eat at the restaurant afterwards!
