The pole dancing itself was really fun but due to be not being able to commit to 6 Wednesday in a row it meant that I only got 3 pole dancing sessions and had to make the rest up in toning sessions, which for me defeated the purpose of pole dancing. I was a bit dissapointed that they could not let me make up the 3 sessions with pole classes rather than toning classes.

It's definitely a fun sport to do!

I have signed up to 6-week beginner's course which just finished yesterday and I can whole-hearted say what a fantastic experience it has been. I have gained a tremendous amount of upper body strength, a pole-dancing routine and the sense of having achieved something difficult. Ladies, if you'd like to learn pole danicng seriuosly, this is the place to go!

Booking the class has been a breeze. My phone/email enquiry was answered promptly. What really sets this place apart is that you have your own pole, which means you get 60mins of solid workout and practice instead of waiting your turn.

The instructor was really professional and enthusiastic and class number is small enough that you get individual attention perfecting the move. The class is well-structured that you do walk away with a nice routine at the end.

Highly recommended!!!

The studio was difficult to find and in the basement of a office block which seemed a little dodgy at first. There wasn't a shower or real changing facilities which straight from work can be an issue.

I had difficulty booking my voucher and had to leave a message and email before they called me back to secure my place.

However, when I finally arrived it was worth it. You have a pole each (about 15 in the room) and there is a large fan at the back to keep cool. Plus, no men so you feel at ease to do-your-thang!

The instructors were really friendly and go over each move a few times, helping individuals who struggle. There was one instructor at the back as additional support.

You can really see improvement over the weeks but I would need to do the beginners class again - literally no strengthen. Others in the class were amazing.

If it wasn't for the wahanda vouchers I dont think I would have done it, as it is expensive but I would recommend as a good workout!

This was fun ,and a fast way to tone up pre holiday although it was hard work.
Class was held in the basement so quite dark, however it was fun ,no room for proper changing facilities and one bathroom,so bring wipes for your feet.
I missed a class so Janet instructor kindly fitted me into a stretching /toning class which was harder than the pole exercise classes.
Very easy going atmosphere, everyone had their own pole and it was nearly always full if you want a fun few weeks with friends i recommend booking a course, I will go again with freinds.

The venue is a bit shabby albeit in good working order. The poles are good. I never knew pole dancing could be so challenging. The regular blonde teacher is very good, very consistent and levels the class well to the level of the participants. One class was covered by another teacher who didn't seem to understand that we were a class of beginners and was trying to make us do things that we had had no previous grounding in. She also focussed on using one arm only whereas the regular teacher always makes sure that both arms are used so as not to over strain one side of the body.

So challenging yet very enjoyable and I will certainly try out the moves in the next club that I visit which has a pole!!

You do get a pole each and the instructors are really friendly to women of all sizes the classes are great. I have been to a few pole lessons and this was really good but there are no lockers one tiny changing area for one person so get ready before you go. So this means you need to change at the back of thr class or gt there early. There are no showers which is fine if you are going home anyway. The one issue I have is although you have a pole each there are 13 poles. If the class is full you have two instructors but on courses I have been to before normally there is one instructor to 3 girls to watch them when they first start completing the moves inky because pole is quite dangerous. I think you need to know yourself and speak up if you want the instructor there as some moves I definately would not trust to do on my own with no support

LOVED this pole dancing course!
The classes are small enough that you don't have to share a pole & you can easily ask the instructor for more guidance if required. There was usually a second instructor available who would also help if you were struggling. We were all surprised by how much we could do by the end of the course & the majority of us were keen to continue to the intermediate course. Our instructor (Erika?) was brilliant and made the 6 week course fly by.
The only downfalls are that there are no showers & not great changing spaces. It's still a good value course & great fun.

I booked on one of the deals through wahanda and I would without doubt say STEER CLEAR! The classes were fully booked, so they could not fit me in till much later. They advertised classes for 3 times on numerous days of the week, when i purchased the deal but in the end I had to take 6 subsequent lessons on only one day at one time! This meant I would end up missing 3 out of 6 sessions due to prior commitments. Splash said they would sort out nearer the time, but never contacted me even after a reminder.

I tried to get my money back as the deal had been advertised incorrectly, but instead was spoken to and dealt with rudely by wahanda staff who pay the venue immediately and said it was up to the venue to refund! Splash had terrible customer service and Wahanda have increadibly rude staff. I would say stay clear of them both!!

We hold as many classes as we can, but due to the offer the classes are very popular and fill quickly.

The offer states 6 Consecutive Weeks NOT 6 consecutive lessons. This was also made apparent when you got to chose a suitable day & time to start the course.

The course is designed around a 6-week program, each week building on from the last lesson, until at the end you can perform an entire routine. By pulling out of the course half way, you can understand that you took a position no one else could fill.

Please check your facts before commenting as you clearly did not understand my complaint and I did not pull out halfway through. You never bothered contacting me about the classes!!! I have since booked another set of classes through another vendor who were professional and sent me details about the classes as soon as they were booked and I did not have to chase them for details!! I stand by my first point and suggest you provide better customer service in future.

There are many pros to taking a course at Splash. Firstly, everyone gets one spinny pole each. This is definitely not the norm (most other schools are 2-3 students per pole) so it's fantastic to have the full time to learn as opposed to standing around waiting! (plus I've been told that learning on a spinning pole is better than a static, though I can't vouch for this myself). On my first lesson they overbooked by mistake and I had to share a pole with the teacher, so I couldn't follow as she demoed - they apologised for this and actually gave me an extra class later the same week to make up for it. You also get a good full-hour's workout - a good warm-up to start and the last 10min are dedicated to core-work and stretching. In the last 2 weeks they bought a different teacher in to do the last part and she was really excellent.

The cons are that there are so many students that you don't really get enough attention from the one teacher. Whenever I had trouble I had to go and flag her down, and even then, I didn't always get the help I needed with the moves. As for facilities, the mirrors are stick-on so you can't really see what you're doing properly and there's no changing room - just tiny space with black curtain. But really these are pretty minor gripes when it comes to the full experience at such a central location, which was amazingly awesome value with the Wahanda voucher.

I did notice the numbers dwindling a bit over the 6 weeks of the course so I would definitely urge people to stick with it after starting: only in my 4th week were my arms strong enough to start doing moves properly (the first 3 weeks was full of disheartening falling off)! Many even managed to go upside down on the last class and although I didn't quite manage it, it's definitely whetted my appetite to take up this fun and unusual hobby.

Great classes. Fantastic not to have to share a pole. Class moved a bit quick at times and instructor didn't really focus on anyone having difficulties but moved on. Even so a great class and a great workout.

The class was okay, but nothing special. It was very repetitive and not that interesting. I only went to 2 classes and then never went back. I was just too busy at the time and didn't like it enough to make the effort.

Brilliant to have you own personal pole. Previous courses was on a shared pole so you had to wait your turn. Teaches a lot of new moves, doesn't have enough time to concentrate on everyone and their moves and sometimes can't see or hear very well. But overall the class is a good size, starts on time and lasts the whole hour. I ache about a week after, so we must be doing something right! Totally enjoyable.

The instructor is great. The drop of lotion needed for the class should really be included in the price. It's not really a course but more drop in classes as the people seem to change very week and have varying degrees of experience.

A really good pole dance school. The teachers are nice and very pro. You have one pole per person which is great and which is not the case in all the school. definitly a great deal!

Splash Beauty & Lifestyle Studio is a dedicated pole dancing studio. There's about 15 poles so every lady gets one. Great deal at a great price. It is so much fun and really good exercise. The teacher is really good and teaches really well. All the girls have so much fun! Changing rooms are limited but I would do it again!
