Disappointed as I was told there were a double room and saunas where in changing rooms which meant you couldn't experience with partner. Other wise great
I booked this for a treat for my daughter and after several attempts managed to book the treatments. However, my daughter wasn't allowed anything other gosh manicure and pedicure. There wasn't an age restriction mentioned! And swimming pool she was only allowed to use between 8-9am & 5-6pm. Having spent £300 for this visit, it wasn't anything like we were expecting and we were both disappointed. We wouldn't have booked it if we had known about such restrictions for a 13year old. The beauty place were very kind and gave her a luxury pedicure. I did read all information too and i read information about the hotel and I couldn't find anything. The hotel also queried our dinner reservation and I felt embarrassed explaining that the dinner was part of the package.
The staff were lovely, couldn't have been nicer. The spa is in serious need of an update. The toilet didn't flush properly and the old bin in the changing area needed renewing or a serious clean.The pool area was okay and if it hadn't have been a monsoon outside I am sure the use of the outside area would have been nice. The area around the pool was a cramped, but thats a design fault not the spa. Overall the treatments both my daughter and I received were really nice and both girls very pleasant. The lunch was lovely and once again the staff serving really polite and nothing to much trouble. Overall not a bad experience it's just a shame the changing rooms and pool area let it down.
