We, a friend and I, had a lovely refreshing time at the hotel and in the spa, which I highly recommend. The staff in the were lovely and the waitress in the restaurant in particular. The food was amazing and so tasty. It was most definitely value for money and we would go again.
There are a few little things that the hotel and spa could do to make the experience even better but they are minor. we would have loved to be able to order a relaxing drink in the spa but when we went that facility was not available, we understand it is in the plan. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable but the only bedding was a thick duvet and this was too much on a warm weekend, I would have liked a sheet. as I say minor.
If you want somewhere to go for a relaxing few days with a lovely spa experience I would recommend it and why not splash out and up grade - we paid a little extra and had a refreshing foot and hand massage as part of our treatments, well worth it.

Went here for a girls couple of days. A really great deal and certainly value for money. The food was gorgeous! We even received a complimentary taster dish. A lovely atmosphere and fantastic facilities. Would definitely recommend!

We went as a couple as a treat to my boyfriend because he works 7 day weeks and I thought it would be a nice relaxing treat for him to get away from the stress of work. Paid for the whole thing and never even got what we paid for. We were meant to check in at 2pm coming from London which was fine but they wanted to book us for spa treatments at 10am which would have been horrible. They managed to book us for 12pm which was still too early but they were unwilling to book any other times as they claimed to be fully booked and even though 12pm was never gonna work for us they booked it anyway. We arrived at 1pm even after leaving our home in London at 9am and was told we were too late (which of course we were due to very heavy traffic) and could not have our treatments that we paid for and the manager didn't seem that sympathetic at all. The hotel was very nice and we tried to make the most of our stay but our relaxing night away turned out to be more stressful than if we had stayed home. Not sure if I would go back to this place

The staff was not very competent as there were trainees who were unsupervised and room allocation was messed up completely

Lovely relaxing stay. Spa was lovely but a jacuzzi would have made it even better!
Lovely food for lunch, dinner and breakfast.
Would certainly recommend!

Great place and amazing value for £47 pp for the night with Afternoon Tea, 3 course Dinner and buffet breakfast!
The staff were very attentive and when our room was delayed in being ready we were offered a glass of champagne for our wait!
Just missing a jacuzzi in the spa but other than that a wonderful relaxing place to be.

More beds or chairs around pool. Staff efficient and helpful. Rooms nice, but bathroom shower cubicle could do with resealing.
