This was my second visit to SPALondon for their 25 minute back massage. I absolutely love this spa, it's like stepping into a different world, so tranquil and relaxing. The treatment is lovely, the inscent steam to help yuo relax is a great touch and the massage always leaves me feel relax and rejuvinated. I would highly recommened this Spa for any of their treatments. Professional, Relaxing and an overall lovely experience.

I had to wait for a few minutes, but the lost time was made up on the back end of the appointment. My therapist was amazing and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. I've already booked a return appointment.

It is a nice spa. I arrived with a few minutes spare, filled in a questionnaire and was then told to sit and wait for my therapist. When she finally appeared (at least 5 min past my appointed time), she told me I had to go and change in the shared changing room (the spa is inside a leisure centre) and that she would have to cut my treatment time short as we're starting late!!!!! Seriously? How was that my fault?! I was given a robe to get changed into but no slippers and then led through the spa area to a treatment room. I had to keep my swim wear on during exfoliation as no disposable panties were provided. It was probably one of the least enjoyed treatments I had recently due to the fact that after the body exfoliation you are rinsed while still lying on the heated table so you are "having a bath" in your own dirt and bits of dead skin. I really did not want to get my hair wet but there was no choice!!! I wish they warn you about this or at least provide some shower caps to protect the hair. You are then asked to wait outside in the communal area in your robe, while she cleans the treatment room (and are told NOT to use any of the spa facilities like the hot tub). The massage that followed was so vigorous (and I am used to regular deep tissue massages) that my quads were aching for days. A final "touch" is that you are then left to do your own moisturising with a choice of body lotions. On the plus side, there is a nice relaxation area where you could have a cup of tea afterwards but I had no time. All in all - I don't think I'll be rushing back to this place...

I expected more massages, you just get wrapped with plastic film after putting mud. I would have given five star if it had cellulite attack massages

Although I had to change the time as the one booked through Wahanda wasn't available, everything else about the experience was great - friendly staff, good ambience, satisfactory treatment. Would have liked a slightly darker colour though.

I had Elemis Skin Solutions Oxygen Calm Facial, 70mins £65 course, with Wahanda offer at £40. I was very happy to find this offer. The therapist was very nice and skilled so definitely worth the money. So the other small details are nothing to be remembered...

1. After I made my booking on the Wahanda app, the venue phoned me to change the appointment time 5 min ealier. I arrived a bit early just in case but had to wait 5 min after the rescheduled appointment time anyway. Why phoned?
2. While waiting Receptionist offered me a glass of water with lemon, which was nice, but the glass was cloudy... Needs a good wash!
3. the Wahanda app and the venue website say it is a 70 min course, but it was a 60 min actually...
4. It was 8pm when my treatment was finished and the venue was closing. Some rubbish bags were placed just outside of the salon door and that kinda ruined my heavenly feeling after nice massage.

I'm very satisfied overalll, so will definitely book again! (but not with full price)

Great experience, staff were nice, facilities were great. Was concerned it might be too busy for our liking but it was perfect. Steam room, jacuzzi, foot spa, shower and relaxation room were great. We had a very relaxing time. Ambience I gave 4/5 as people regularly walk through the relaxation room to get to the spa. Great deal from lastminute.com. Would recommend.

The second spa that I have ever been to and I left feeling so mellow but energised. Although to some the facilities could be seen as basic I think it was all I needed without paying for a treatment. I visited on a Friday at 12:30 and found not many people there so it felt a bit more private. We made full use of the steam/ sauna and jacuzzi and then relaxed in the relaxation bed area which really made me and my sister focus on good energies as soft music played out. We enjoyed the heated seats, as well as the ice bucket shower and melody scented shower.

The place was so clean and believe that I'm a bit OCD about hairs on the floor etc, and the staff were so helpful and had the most relaxing voices. Even when my locker key had gone missing, they calmly cooled me down and when it was nowhere to be seen they sorted out getting my belongings back to me.

A quick retreat in the middle of a hustle and bustle town.

Thanks

I bought this as a present for my aunt as she lives near the venue and did not know about it, she thought it was an amazing experience and would not hesitate to go back again :-)

I booked a spa-only session. I chose this place because I needed to do some hydrotherapy on my injured hip. The spa brochure states "Hydrotherapy Pool: Multiple jets working on different muscle groups to pummel away any stress or fatigue from the body." It was the word "pummel" that sold it to me. But to be honest, the jets were so feeble that I would have received more pummeling from someone blowing water through a straw. The other facilities were fine (sauna, steam room, etc.) but the one thing I wanted was simply not as described in their brochure, hence my low score.

I would also add that my mood was not helped by a couple of other guests chatting in the relaxation area. I don't expect total silence, but one of them had rather a loud voice. Oh, and the hot water machine (for the free tea) is incredibly difficult to use; there are no instructions, and in any case the lighting is so low you can't actually see the controls. I wasn't the only one who struggled.

So, I was a very disappointed customer.

Lovely massage, really relaxing, but I wasn't so keen on the lavender defuser being put under the head piece so wafting straight into my face. I'm an asthmatic so I did ask for this to be taken away. Much better without this.

In love with this place, never a disappointing and such good value for money. The therapists are always lovely and helpful. And the spa reception team are always extremely helpful and always prepared to go that extra mile. All staff are an absolute credit to the team.

Overrated and expensive for what you get. will never go back. The facilities are poor, and dirty. The service is not good and not at all relaxing.
