Booked the taster spa package,Very friendly receptionist who seemed to be well organised.
After being shown around we were given Asian tea which tasted like very weak flavoured warm water.
Then we had a wonder around while we waited for our treatment time, All the treatment rooms, pool area are on seperate floors which was a bit confusing,The steam room was a bit tacky,The pool was cold, and only a handfull of loungers around one side of the pool.
The quiet room was just a bit bigger than a broom cupboard, had 4 beds in it, lite by candles with a jug of cold drinking water which was flavoured by fruit, but the taste of that they shouldn't have bothered with the fruit, it was weaker than the Asian tea for taste,Also there was a "relaxation" area outside the changing rooms which consisted of a so called fountain which had a lite in it, the water jet only dribbled and was more of an irritation than a calming influence and the tiled seating area around the fountain we kept sliding off, plus other clients kept walking past.....very relaxing....
Spa changing rooms far too small, good job there was only myself in there at the time, god knows what it would be like if there was a rush on.
When booking the day we where led to believe lunch would be included in the package, this was not the case when we asked at reception, too late then, so more expence.
A posative.....The treatments we received where good, facial and deep tissue massage, but wouldn't recommend or go again, i think the management need to take a trip to the woodland spa in Burnley for a few tips on facilitys and layout.

Probably one of the best spa experiences i've ever had, went with my mum and sister and the rooms/facilities are really impressive, although the sauna + steam rooms are very small. The spa itself is beautiful and very clean, afternoon tea is great value for money and staff are very friendly + professional. will definitely visit again!

I visted here on NYE for a time for tea spa day.
The spa was very clean and and the treatments fantastic. The staff
were really friendly and welcoming. I would knock off half a star for the afternoon tea though which was a little disappointing because the sandwiches were completely boring and no dressing or seasoning. A minor fault in what can only be described as the perfect spa experience. I will definitely be coming back.

Really enjoyable spa experience and afternoon tea. Changing rooms were a bit small with no cubicles, which might bother some people. Suggest checking your treatment times carefully, I asked for treatments together, but our 2nd treatments were scheduled at different times. Fortunately we spotted it and staff switched things around so we could go together. Sensory garden is lovely, would like to go back in the summer when it's warm enough to sit outside.

A delightful experience.
My husband and I decided to treat ourselves with Time-To-Spa Day Incl. Afternoon Tea package at Spa by Kasia at Grosvenor Pulford Hotel. All the service that we received was outstanding! We were greeted warmly and got exactly what we paid for. The spa treatments Booster Facial -40 minutes and Deep Tissue Back Massage -25 minutes were excellent. The spa and afternoon tea facilities were lovely.
Highly recommended.

The spa and afternoon tea facilities we had were very good, we visited after a bank holiday, and thought that the cleanliness of the pool area, pool changing rooms and toilet were not very good, though the spa was very clean, and the staff and the treatments were excellent.

Went with a friend for the Taster Day with Afternoon Tea. It is a beautiful spa, the decor is luxe and stylish without being too over the top. Spa changing rooms are small with no private cubicles which might bother some people but was fine for us. The Asian Sensory garden was a real surprise and so much nicer than we expected. Afternoon tea was delicious with plenty to eat but not so much that you are too stuffed to enjoy a massage! Only thing I would mention is that the "Asian Tea Ritual" is actually just a glass of fruit tea - there's no ritual, like you might be expecting (I thought it would be matcha tea with a whisk etc). There are jugs of cold water flavoured with slices of fruit and these are available all over the spa which is great. We thoroughly enjoyed it and we are returning later in the year for another pamper day
