My boyfriend and I went to the Nuffeild for a little treat for his birthday. I saw a deal on wahanda for a nights stay for £99 for the both of us and as we didn't want to travel far we thourght this would be a nice get away. At the time of booking I didn't realise that the £99 was not including a spa treatment but was only a nights stay. I had to contact the hotel many times as I wanted to make it as special as possible. The deal was only for a Sunday evening and we could only check in at 3pm and the spa closed at 5pm and the next day check out was at 11am. The time span didn't leave much time to have many treatments. Once I arrived at the hotel I wasn't sure what to expect. Once we pulled up I was in ore! The hotel is absolutely beautiful! It's old vs new! The views where spectacular! We had a spa treatment and we really enjoyed it although we wished we had taken a longer one. The staff where so helpful and really lovely! Down to earth and professional. When we left the next day we where quite sad to leave as we really felt refreshed and replenished! We will definately be returning again soon!

Easy location to get to from London, just a 30 min train ride and then a short 10min taxi. But was let down by the facilities and some of the staff. Our room (and many of the rooms) faced two parking lots. Especially as our window was above the delivery entrance, we were woken early in the morning (from 5:30am - 8am) by delivery trucks and trolleys. Also, you can hear people talking in the hallways in the mornings. Access to the spa is external to the hotel, so you'll need to walk outside at night/winter. Checkout is a rather early 11am and many of the staff members were not knowledgeable (re time of breakfast?), or not particularly warm or friendly. This isn't a luxurious hotel stay experience.

I was very disappointed with the spa area (pool, steam and sauna). It looked old and in need of a refurbishment. The treatment rooms were nice and comfortable, and the therapists were good. It was a shame that the spa was not part of the actual hotel because I got the impression that it was. The afternoon tea was enjoyable.

After seeing the grounds of the Priory, I had an expectation that it would be a lovely country manor house - unfortunately, the spa is next door to the main hotel in a relatively new building which houses the gym and spa. Inside, you go through the gym reception into the spa which is quite nice. The seating area is quite nice - this is also where they serve afternoon tea. The afternoon tea was okay, not brilliant, though the scones were great. The treatment - 25min massage - was nice but considering the £99 for two cost, is way too short. The spa changing area is ridiculous - a tiny shower with a glass door in the changing area which can hardly fit more than two people, never mind that there are at least 10 lockers.

The rest is not worth it. The facilities are frankly not really deserving of a spa name. Its a gym. We went down to use the "hydrotherapy" pool - a whirlpool with gym members in it. A swim? Nope - was full of screaching children. We could have gone into the change rooms for a sauna but with them full of members, its not the spa experience I paid for. So, after travelling down to Redhill, taking a taxi to the hotel, we were gone within an hour since you just couldn't enjoy the place. Its not a spa day location - treatments yes, but pass on the rest.

Nutfield Priory is perfect for a relaxing weekend away. It only took us about 30min by train from Clapham Junction followed by a £6 taxi to the hotel. I can't say enough good things about our hotel stay. We had all of our meals in the Cloisters Restaurant which were amazing! They had an excellent selection for vegetarians including artichoke lasagne, mediterranean veggie streudel, and veggie English breakfast. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather during our stay so we enjoyed drinks on the back patio overlooking the countryside, which felt like we were the only people around for miles.

The spa is part of a health/fitness center which is open to members and hotel guests. I had an exfoliation massage with hot stones which was excellent for getting all the knots out of my back. My pedicure was also excellent, although the nail area was a bit cramped. I would have liked to lounge around the sauna and hot tub before/after our treatments but they were in a different part of the building and we weren't given the opportunity to get changed and store our things in lockers. I attended a yoga class the following morning and the teacher was very knowledgable and friendly.

I would highly recommend visiting Nutfield Priory if you ever have a chance!

I took my mum for Christmas, and she was really pleased with the neck and back massage,. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and although the sauna and steam room were very small, we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. I would have preferred more areas to relax in, as we were limited to the pool area where guests of the hotel were (and it was quite busy) or upstairs in the relaxation room. Still, if you take swimwear you can enjoy the whole facility.

I sent my dad and his partner, they throughly enjoyed it. They used the pool, gym equipment and spa facilities. The did a few classes too, so they were there the entire day. I dropped them there. It was easy to find, on lovely grounds. The sunny day made the whole experience even nicer. They had no complaints and would recommend a visit. I may book a day there myself

My friend won a night at the hotel and two free spa tratments for herself and a friend, I was the lucky friend!

The hotel was a beautiful old chapel with a fabulous atmosphere andd views of the stunning countryside that surrounds the hotel. The room was extremely spacious and modern yet in keeping with the magnificant building.

The evening meal was lovely. However they did bring us the wrong main course. The breakfast was good too looking out over the views.

Massage was very relaxing, and the facial exceeded my expectation. The only complaint I woud make is that the spa is a slight walk away fron the hotel and on a rainy day or in the height of Winter it would not be pleasant to traipse across to the spa.

I came away from Nutfield priory feeling thoroughly relaxed.

I won a spa break at the Nutfield Priory off the Wahanda website. I visited there with a friend and we had a very relaxing time. The hotel is set within easy access of London, but once we were there it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, with amazing views of the countryside. Set in an old period building the hotel still has many traditional features, and a library full of old books. Dinner was lovely, with friendly querky waiters, the only complaint would be that they got our orders wrong first time round. The room was clean fresh and comfortable. Breakfast was of usual standard of a good hotel, and we really got to apprieciate the views. If we had had time I think there could have been some good country walks or other activities to do and places to visit nearby.

The spa itself was set slight away from the hotel, almost a different entity in a modern building. The staff were all very helpful.

I had a full body massage, which was relaxing, but would have been better if more pressure had been applied. I was also left afterwards in the room slightly confused as to where I should go, with no instruction or clothes to put on to get to the changing room.

In the spa there was a swimming pool, steam room and sauna, with classes avaliable. I chatted to a lady who was a regular at gym and she was very impressed with the spa and classes available.
