Everything was great! The booking process, the welcome, the experience! All great. The only slight niggle I have is we waited a while at lunch. The room was busy to be fair. The staff were very apologetic and handled it well though.
We were offered a raspberry tea on arrival, which was a lovely surprise. Staff were very nice particularly the masseuse. Back neck and shoulder massage was great. The relaxation room was also nice with soft beds, nice ambiance with refreshments. Spa facilities ok, a bit run down and the experience shower out of action so needed to continuously go back to the lockeroom to shower after sauna before going into the pool. Hydrotherapy pool was great but kids were in there too (even though not allowed) which made it less relaxing. Lots of rambunctious kids in the large pool jumping into the pool and splashing (right next to the hydro pool and sauna)--it would be best for people wanting quiet relaxation to go during the week when kids are less likely to be there. Mud treatment was fun but one of the lotion bottles was completely empty, the seat on the tiles wasn't warm as described, and the shower at the end was very cold. Lunch was very good however.
A great place to relax. Thank you to the Spa staff to look after us in a very nice and professional way. Will be back.
