Spa at Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa part of Elite Hotels

Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf and Spa is a luxury five-star hotel with 18 hole golf course, magnificent spa and more than 1,000 acres of parkland and gardens created by the famous landscape designer Capability Brown.

Guests walk in the footsteps of some illustrious former visitors to the house, such as Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth II, Winston Churchill and Lord Mountbatten to name but a few. They would recognise some of the attractions as they were in bygone days – for example the fully restored Victorian grass tennis court with its pavilion that revolves to follow the day’s sun – or the opportunities for game and clay pigeon shooting, or fishing and boating on the serpentine lake.

Such pastimes have been joined by more contemporary amenities including the Spa at Luton Hoo, beautifully converted from the original Bothy building and extended with a swimming pool, housed under an oak-beam roof with views over the Flower Garden Wood. And of course the par 73, 7,107 yard golf course with breathtaking vistas of the house and its rolling estate.

Luton Hoo enjoys a beautiful rural setting. The River Lea snakes through the grounds, creating two lakes covering 50 acres. Mature trees grace the parkland including several sweet chestnut trees more than 300 years old. And yet Luton Hoo is just ten minutes’ drive from Luton Airport and 40 minutes from Heathrow

I'd heard great things about Luton Hoo, and my stay didn't disappoint at all. We stayed in the Honeysuckle Suite in the Flower Garden which was beautiful, and enjoyed great food during our stay. The spa treatment (I had a Bay and Lemon Body Scrub and Wrap) was lovely; really relaxing and I left with soft and glowing skin. The grounds (designed by Capability Brown) are beautiful and you can enjoy a lovely long walk around. If you're looking for a luxury spa break where every whim will be attended to, this is the place.

What an amazing house with so much history. I love the attention to detail like the black taxis with appropriate number plates that ferry guests from one building to another. We didn't have dinner there but the lunch was delicious & breakfast good quality. The room wasn't disappointing at all, nice & spacious. With so many acres & lovely weather, we walked & walked on the Sunday, starting from the formal gardens, to the rock gardens, back to the house & then down to the weir.
The spa was really nice although the jacuzzi wasn't working properly & it was a scramble to get a lounger.

Place was great only bad thing is that the address for the place is incorrect. The post code takes you to fields where there is no access to the hotel has the roads leading up are all strictly private. It took us another 15 minutes just to find the place. The main entrance is on located on London road which should be on the website as the address

Had a brilliant stay! The staff are fantastic and were able to be flexible with changes during our stay. Great for a special occasion or if in need of some pampering.

The ladies changing room as cramped and extremly busy, staff did not deal with issues quickly enough.

There were not enough pool loungers.

The signage for parking is poor.

The lunch was excellent.

Amazing setting, amazing accommodation, really comfortable bed and spacious room. Underfloor heating in the bathroom, "his and hers" vanity units, and a lot of other really nice finishing touches. We had dinner at the Brasserie and had some lovely food. Overall we were very well looked after by the staff at Luton Hoo. For my treatment I chose the "5 Senses Body Signature Treatment", which was 1 hour and 20 minutes of bliss. My therapist gave me a very good 'invigorating' massage - my choice, you can have relaxation too if you prefer. Then we spent some time using the spa facilities, which are in very nice surroundings. Everything at Luton Hoo is ispiring, and the spa is no different.

i took my mum for afternoon tea as a Mothers day treat! We both had a wonderful time. The decor, ambience and grounds at Luton Hoo are spectacular. The service was perfect and the afternoon tea was delicious! I would highly reccomend a visit here, especially for a special occassion.
