It was great, friendly staff, clean amenities, reasonable selection of spa facilities. The massage was deeply relaxing. The free fruit, in particular, was a nice surprise.

Firstly the spa itself is very small . There is a small pool, a Jacuzzi which only "bubbles" every ten minutes or so when you're allowed to press a button. There is a steam room and a sauna. The changing room is very small, there were six women in there on my visit and it felt crowded.

The massage itself was lovely (I had Ivan who is excellent ) and the other staff were very welcoming.

Afternoon tea afterwards was good quality.

Spa slightly ruined by the presence of two loud teenage girls who thought it acceptable to play music on their phones. Check before you book that it's not school holidays!!!

Went with my partner for a couples massage which was amazing, but unfortunately that was the only good thing. The spa is tiny and as a result is a little crowded, the excersise pool didn't work either. Lunch was okay. Probably won't be going there again

had an elmeis facial and was entitled to use gym and spa for day.
arrived at the hotel and the directions to the spa are not clear, so asked around a bit. Went down stairs and no one was there to open the door came back up again to receptionist and she gave me the key. The receptionist was nice and made me fill in forms before my treatment. the whole spa was a bit quaint.
I arrived early so the receptionist asked if I wanted to go 30 mins earlier I was happy to do
the therapist who did my facial was knowledgeable and did a good job.
The gym - hardly any equipment in there or some of it was broken. Wanted to use the Jacuzzi but it was switched off, and no one was there no staff everyone had gone.
I liked the facial but the spa was not good enough did not use my vochre value as sauna etc was not working and no staff were there to help. ok but wouldn't return

Lovely spa that has a wonderful atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the treatment was relaxing. All needs were catered for. Would definitely revisit this spa and recommend to friends and family.

Hotel very nice, spa well maintained. Nice greeting at arrival. Spa facilities very good, used the sauna, mini-pool, steam room, jacuuzi.
Treatment very nice, therapists were very friendly and did a good job. Very relaxing.
Used the facilities again afterwards.

Just one snag - offer came with a 'goody bag worth over £25'. Waited in reception afterwards to collect this, and waited...and waited. Eventually after 45 mins of no staff appearing a maintenance man told us all the staff had gone home, contrary to the sign at reception saying that 'treatments are in progress'.
Someone from the hotel came to the spa to get us and cobbled together a bag with a few mini shampoos and a keyring in it. Slightly disappointing ending to an otherwise nice afternoon.

Great spa facility and great therapist for the body exfoliation. He was very informative about what the treatment involved and gave me lots of options in regards to what oils and types of scrub I wanted. I personally have no issue with it but the fact that he was a man might concern others so think it could be worth while informing people before treatment.

The spa area was lovely and constantly being checked on for cleanliness and new towels were always brought in. The child guests from the hotel were a little unexpected.

I would definitely go back to the spa and for another treatment.

I really enjoyed my spa day here. The staff and the therapist were really welcoming and atentative and the facilities in general were great. There was construction going on at the time which meant it was a little hard to relax. It would have been easier to handle the construction if we'd known in advance that it was going to be happening. None the less I would go back.

This lovely hotel has a small but well maintained spa. I went with a couple of girlfriends for a birthday treat, and we had a day spa pass together with a half hour massage. You should probably check when you call up if you don't want to have a male therapist, luckily they were able to organise for us to have a treatment with a female therapist. The half hour message was one of the most amazing massages I've ever had in London.

The spa facilities are quite compact, there's a jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, and rain forest shower in a small area, a couple of relaxation chairs and an exercise pool. We couldn't quite work out how to use the exercise pool but it would get quite crowded in there if there were more than 2 people.

Overall the massage was amazing, the spa facilities were lovely but small. If it's a busy day then you may find it too crowded.

Nice experience. I had to select from a range of flavours with different purposes. I settled for the detox scrub which was gingery. My skin felt smooth and nice although it seemed a bit short. a complimentary foot or head massage might have perfected the experience.

Great Experience, The facility is Clean, Comfortable and Bright and Light. We arrived and my Friend went first while I used the Gym... It is small but it had the Cardio Equipment that I use.

The Exfoliation treatment was amazing, the Therapist Jenny was great, quite attentive and patient.

The Sauna had the lovely smell of peppermint and we just enjoyed the experience.

We did not use the pool but overall we shall return for another visit.

Great value and a great place to just chill out!!

My friend and I visited the facility and was quite satisfied with the Spa ambience, and the Therapist Jenny was amazing. We had the salt scrubs and my skin was all glowing after the treatment. The Spa is quite clean and an offers all the comfort and relaxation that one would expect from a great spa facility. The gym area is quite small but offered the cardio equipment that I use so I was quite happy. Robes, shoes, towels were supplied and that just had me over the moon. The spa area is lovely, walking into the steam sauna and the smell of pepermint was great.
We did not use the pool but the whirlpool was quite relaxing.

I would recommend this spa to all you spa lovers and I am sure you won't be disappointed. We are headed back at the end of the month. Montcalm Spa is at the top of my list!
