A lovely setting and staff were helpful. The aromatherapy massage was lovely with the therapist taking care to check if the pressure was ok. Pool a bit small but adequate.

This was a very good value pass. The facilities comprise a small size pool, inside and outside jacuzzi, sauna and steam. The setting is woodland and pleasant. I loved the outdoor spa. My day pass included lunch and after an initial misunderstanding where the staff thought lunch was not included the situation was rectified and a very helpful and apologetic manager sorted it out. The only relaxation area was next to the pool. I would have liked somewhere else to sit and chill.

The Dinners were excellent and the Spa treatments were amazing. The facilities were very good.

My only criticism would be that I could hear people in the next room too clearly, you weren't insulated from sounds that neighbours were making.

Great food and a lovely spacious room with a view of the woods and lake. My shoulder and back massage was fantastic. Will definitely visit again. Great value for money.

we were greeted with the words you[re very early then told to put our bags in the cleaning cupboard. had previously been told we could arrive early and use the facilities. room past its best. despite telling front desk our fan heater in the bathroom was broken, it didnt get fixed. The spa is a joke. The sliding door to the outside hot tub was broken, and wasnt fixed all the time we were there. The saving grace of the place is the lovely staff on the spa and the wonderful food.

Fantastic location, atmosphere and staff. Loved the outdoor hot tub! Beautiful 6 course menu although not always as hot as we would have liked, this was the same at breakfast. Gorgeous, comfortable romm with bad plumbing! Smelly toilet and a poor shower. As it was our mini moon we weren't too bothered and overall loved it!

When we arrived we were told we had to eat at a certain time when I had been advised on the phone this was not the case. Also, they could not find our booking and we were quite embaressed as we had booked it as a birthday treat for a friend and it was made out to look like we had not even bothered to book. Finally, the hot tub was not very hot however it is a lovely spa facility with good value for money.

Excellent facilities lovely log cabin accommodation. Fresh fruit on the table a lovely touch. My only downside was the dinner. I know people would appreciate the haute cuisine style which was tasty and filling but im a bit of a value for money kind of person and although there was the alternative menu, we had paid a special price and the meal was included so we went for that. There was a taster of venison first which was nice but I wouldn't have picked it in an everyday restaurant some people would have but that's not to my liking. Again its not my choice but would be to others. The lamb was served rare which again was not what I like so we asked if it could be overcooked probably not what the chef would like but we did. The waitress was very obliging and so was the chef! Overall well worth the visit and would go again!

An absolutely tip-top experience overall. The room was excellent, food superb and the service and attitudes of the staff outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble! I have already recommended this hotel/spa to all my friends and will definitely be returning.

Beautiful settings, lovely facilities and amazing food... The 2 night break was absolutely stunning value for money. The reception staff left a little to be desired, but the restaurant was lovely and really helpful. We were upgraded to a lodge for a hotel room as we were booked into a double room and not a twin. On being moved we were missing our fruit, robes and slippers (which were all included in our package) and we did have to remind reception a couple of times to have them delivered to us - once should have been enough. The lodge was lovely, however there was no wifi, cellular coverage and digital signal, so we were unable to fully relax in our room. The shower pressue was disappointing, but otherwise the room was clean and tidy. The spa facilities were adequate, but I think if the hotel was fully booked in the peak season, which is wasn't when we visited, it probably would have been too small. The therapists were amazing... In particular Hayley is highly recommended by myself! Despite the niggles, we had a good time... I definitely would recommend it.

We had a wonderful time at the Chevin Country Park. The breakfast was fantastic; loved the black pudding and haggis. The room was really nice although the reception on the tv wasn't very good at all. Really enjoyed the treatments, we were however double booked and couldn't have the second and third treatment together which didn't bother my boyfriend at all but would have made it that little bit better for me.. The dinner we felt was just the right amount although I would have liked the bread and butter pudding to have been hot. All in all a really nice experience and we would definitely go back.
