Service:
I was bought a spray tan for my birthday and booked in day before my works xmas party. I arrived after a long drive from pudsey and as soon as i was in it was quite nice. Greeted by a lady and told her I had booked a spray tan and she had a look for my name and said really sorry but your not booked in and who did i book with? I didnt know name but definately booked as I would not have been there otherwise. She just shrugged her shoulders and sorry but nowt I can do cos got 2 other customers in. I then said sorry but not my fault and that I couldnt get a spray tan now at such short notice and I have travelled a long way. She then agreed to fit me in.
Tan:-
Went up stairs for the tan and she ask me wat colour tan, light, medium or dark and i debated for a minute but agreed dark. Told me to undress and put my feet on these cardboard feet and walk into the booth. The lady left the door open whilst i was changing and found this unprofessional and so i rushed and forgot to wash off my makeup, however, a little bit of prompting to do this would of been nice. Stood in the booth with my makeup on and the lady didnt even say to me you need to wash makeup off so went ahead and did it anyway. After the tan she told me to dry myself off but I didnt actualy feel wet. At this point i realised i had left my makeup on and told her and her reply wass "Dont worry you would of gone green by now and I cant offer you to wash it off and re-apply because your not meant to apply to the area twice. I thought ok right whatever - was not too fussed about my face anyway but all the same would of been nice to be asked. Next morning I checked my tan in the mirror and there wasn't one. My legs was still white and it looked like I had a tan that had faded after a week of having one on. Needless to say this but i wont be returning and I will also be ring them to tell them this. If mine was a dark tan then i hate think what the light one was.

Hi Joanne, I am so sorry for your experience with this beautician (you will be glad to hear she's no longer with us). I have only just seen this review hence the very late response. As the salon owner I would like to invite you back to our salon so we can rectify this problem free of charge.

When you rang to book your appointment this is what you should have been told......Please exfoliate top to toe and do any shaving the night before, this removes the top layers of dead skin so that the lower layers will get the spray tan and it will help your spray tan be more even and last longer. Do not use deodorant, perfume, makeup or moisturizer the day of your spray tan, making sure all of your skin is clean of products before you get tanned. Moisturizers, oils, creams, deodrant and makeup will not allow the spray tan to soak into your skin properly and you may end up with disappointing results. Wear dark coloured underwear and loose fitting clothing (maxi dress/skirt)

Im not sure if this beautician had explained this to you..... both on the telephone at time of booking or in the salon before spraying and thats probably why you had disappointing results with your tan.

I hope you take us up on our offer so we can put this right.

Lovely, relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff that instantly put me at ease. I felt a bit nervous both being on my own and having the fish pedicure for the first time, but the staff were great and I really enjoyed my experience. I was also offered refreshments while I waited in a massage chair with my feet soaking in warm water. Excellent - I'll definitely return!

I booked with my husband for the fish pedicure via the KGB deal, and didn't really know what to expect as this was our first time having our toes nibbled!.
We recieved a lovely warm welcome and reassurrance that the fish don't actually nibble they just gently suck and seated in some fab massage chairs whilst we soaked our feet in rediness for the fish. Refreshments were also offered whilst we soft soaked them which was nice.
We also took along our 6 year old son to observe initially but he then changed his mind and wanted to take part too, as children do, and the owner was very obliging and allowed him to take part with us which was really kind.
We also found the staff very informative, re the benefits/enzymes of the fish pedicure which We weren't aware of which was good, and my feet truly did feel a lot softer after the experience .
Would definately recommend lovely relaxing salon with excellent staff.
