Honestly I don't even know where to start. I am not one to write mean reviews but I really want to warn anyone who is intending to book Slawek. I read good reviews about him on treatwell and spoke to him on the phone before booking. I booked in for a ombre which was suppose to last 3 hours plus some consultation time. I went into the salon on Friday 21st December 2018. He seemed very nice and told me he had 17 years of experience. I told him that I read a lot of horror stories about ombre's and balayage's turning cupper/orange, I asked him if there was any chance of that happening to me as this would be my absolute nightmare especially given that it was just before the holidays and the fact that I work in an office where I could not turn up with orange hair. I expressly and repeatedly said if there was any risk at of this happening I rather not go ahead with the treatment. He said that he could not guarantee that my hair would turn out as light as I want it but he guaranteed and ensured me that it definitely wouldn't turn cupper/orange. So I agreed to proceed. He seemed very shaky and slow and said it was due to his cholesterol. Things started to feel strange when 4 hours later he still wasn't halfway done with my hair. I repeatedly asked if everything was ok with my hair and he ensured that it was looking good. I am not exaggerating 7 hours later he was done with my hair and it was an absolute disaster. It was nothing like what I asked for it wasn't an ombre, or balayage or just a simple colour... It was everything I was fearing. It was orange and my hair was completely destroyed. Funnily enough though my whites were LL there. I was shocked I couldn't even speak. Its embarrassing to confess but I started crying like a child. Slawek got so angry and nasty. He just tried to get rid of me. He made me pay £150 for destroying my. I have asked him if he could at least try to fix it as it was exactly what I said I didn't want and all he said was that he can't do anything for two weeks. He said he will send me his insurance details if I am not happy with it. I didn't know what to do or say so I paid £150, I cried for hours.
Nearly two weeks down the line, I still haven't received his insurance details or an appointment to fix my hair (not that I would ever trust him with my hair again). I spend the holidays looking like an absolute idiot and went to work today totally embarrassed. I need to now go to another salon to get my hair fixed but my hair is so ruined I am not sure if and how that will work.
