I went there using my discount voucher. Dr Bhati told me that the delivery of my product was running late and I could opt for another filler but for the same price. It sounded like a good deal. Then I was offered to come a few days later and had the fillerthat was originally intended. In total it was 1 ml of dermal fillers injected on my chin during two visits. One would expect some result but NO result was visible. Once the swelling went, you could not see any improvement. The impression was the not real fillers were injected but pure water!
It was not the first time I had this treatment and I knew what the result should be. In this case - NO RESULT! Waste of money and time. I will not trust this place.

I have been going to Skinovate for around 18 months now. When I first started going, the receptionist was so awful that I almost changed my mind! Thankfully I didn't and isno longer employed there - the place has been great and very friendly ever since.

I like the fact the fact that Dr Bhatty is always on there, it is reassuring and she is very well informed - personally my Botox has always been excellent, she listens and is consultative in her approach, targeting my problem areas brilliantly.

I hate hard selling places, it puts me off straight away but I have never felt pressured in to spending more money or booking other treatments which I like and makes me want to return and ask questions about other treatments in my own time. I like the fact that they are independent and quirky- I find that more appealing than the larger corporate clinics around. I will definitely be returning.

I went to this location for a 0.5ml derma filler deal which I found via a discount site. Since I wanted to target a line between the eyebrows, it would make sense 0.5ml to be more enough, however this is not my experience.

The lady doctor mentioned in the previous reviews tried to sell me more expensive treatments which I would have been prepared to undergo on the basis this first treatment gives me some results. I only got some bruises but no results though and when calling the receptionist one week later she promised to pass my info to the doctor. However the lady doctor never called me back, even if she was to call me back probably she would have blamed my skin for the treatment not working, or saying that was a small dozage............. the question is why sell the deal in the first instance? Purely to make some money? Well, for me this was money down the drain. So annyoing.

I have been going to Skinovate since it opened 8 years ago on Paddington Street and now to its new address in Ivor Place NW1.
The staff have been absolutely brilliant in their attention to detail, followup etc. I would recommend Dr Bhattys clinic Skinovate and all her staff over several others that I have tried out in central London. They offer personalised treatments and cater to all my eccentricities! Will keep going to them no matter where they move to and would recommend to all. It isnt for no reason that Skinovate has run for this long on mostly recommendations! Good luck to them for the future!

I have been to 3 or 4 clinics in the central London area. The best by far has been Skinovate. They are professional, thorough and the value for treatment is excellent.

Some one actually bothers to explain everything about lasers and IPl and how hair is removed.

A lot of people think this is 100 %....it cant be, think about it.

The biggest asset is that there is always a doctor present...

Really poor customer service - won't be going back. I recommend trying elsewhere.

Utterly disorganised. They have no idea what is going on and operate their appoints via a pencil and diary therefore there seems to be all sorts of errors. They never answer their phone - I have even tried emailing them to no avail. They told me they'd call once they had moved buildings but I never heard from them. You get the distinct impression they are on the verge of going bust. The treatment itself was OK but they did miss patches and they are certainly 'no fuss'. Try somewhere else!

I have not used this clinic for a while due to being pregnant and then breast feeding and thought i'd better read the reviews to see if the standard was as good now as it had been then.....
When I used the clinic I found the service pretty good, my treatment was spot on and the customer service was good; the staff were not over friendly but professional and that's what I liked. I wasn't at the clinic to be pampered and driven mad with friendly but quite often fake prittle-prattle, I get all that at my hairdressers and it drives me mad (hope nobody there reads this review :-p .
Anyhow due to the fact that I had such a POSITIVE experience I will be re-visiting Skinovate and within the next couple of weeks (now my son has finally finished annihilating my boobs :-/. I'll be back to let you all know how I get on ........

Had treatment year before last and was very happy with results, going back for well overdue top-up. Have to agree it has been difficult to make an appointment, phones unresponsive but I did get a response to my email. Booked for Friday but have had to cancel. Rebooking for next week. Hoping the service is as good as when I used skinovate in the paddington st clinic...let you know how it goes....

The service at Skinovate is simply awful. First of all trying to book an appointment was a nightmare. On several occasions I received a frosty reception when I walked in the door. No test patch was offered - instead I was asked to sign a sheet saying more or less if anything went wrong they weren't liable. I stupidly decided to go ahead with it anyway as I'd already paid.
The actual treatment was the most painful I've had - compared with Court House Clinics and Skin Clinic laser hair removal - and they missed patches.

In the end I decided to ditch the next four sessions and go somewhere proper. A complete waste of money and time. Not worth the discount.

You don't need a test patch for an ND -Yag laser unless there is a specific indication to do so. ....ie: skin conditions/ diseases. Everyone's pain threshold is different. If you can't handle laser hair removal pain...its a good idea to apply numbing gel before half an hour before you receive the treatment...

I haven't finish all my laser hair removal treatments, therefore I can not rate the full experience, but I have to say that I am very happy with my terapist and with the clinic.
After having an extremely bad experience at a different clinic, I can now realise this.
I would recommend Skinovate for their treatments and friendly staff.
