very authentic thai massage. I have a full body 30 minute massage - it is different from Western one but I feel good and relax after that. The environment is good, and the therapist speak perfect English.
Deep Tissue Massage
I really enjoyed my experience. The ambience and surrounding are just what you want when you go to have a massage. The room where I was massaged was small but suitable. My masseuse was fantastic. I suffer with a lot of tension in my back, neck and shoulders and she did the best possible in the short space of time. This meant the massage was as painful as I needed and wanted it to be. I recommend this place and plan to go back.
Deep Tissue Massage
I arrived on time and was told that they were running quite late. They had tried to call me but had taken down my phone number incorrectly. This wasn't a big problem as I was in no massive rush. Unfortunately there was no real waiting room available, so I sat in reception with nothing much to read until my therapist was ready. The treatment room was fine. Nothing amazing but ok. Only slight complaint was that I could hear a conversation between two customers outside throughout my treatment - not massively relaxing! My therapist was very nice, though obviously a bit time pressured. The treatment itself was ok though a little too painful at times (elbows in my kidneys did hurt, and I was not convinced the pain I was experiencing was quite the 'right' kind of pain for a massage) despite the fact I am used to a bit of discomfort during a deep tissue massage. Incidentally, I wasn't asked by my therapist how I wanted the pressure, or whether I had any conditions she needed to be aware of. I suspect this was due to the fact they were running so late. I would go somewhere else for a deep tissue massage next time, but would definitely try out other treatments.
It is the third time for my visit. I think the experience really depends on the therapist. This time is OK but not so impressive compared with the previous two. I bought 30 minutes voucher, and on the spot they ask me whether I am willing to extend to an hour and pay additional 25 pounds. I did because the past two experiences are wonderful. But this therapist does not touch the right spot several times. But she is good to pick up my feedback and adjust. So overall, an OK experience.
Deep Tissue Massage
The therapist did a great job on my shabby looking nails! The treatment was quick and my nails looked fabulous and lasted for 2-3 weeks before growing out.
The salon itself is easy to find and clean and tidy.
My only negative was that the staff spoke to each other in Thai, which I do not understand (!) and said very little to me (what she did say was in perfect English, so it was not a language barrier), i find that a little bit rude when you are having a treatment done.
Otherwise great job and great value for money!
