Shavata Brow Studio at Westfield Shopping Centre part of Shavata Brow Studio

Eyebrows have always been a passion of mine. The entire process of creating the perfect arch fascinates me, and I am constantly thinking of new ways to make this previously daunting beauty task simpler for my clients. This passion is one of the reasons I founded my first Brow Studio at the Urban Retreat, Harrods. This Brow Studio was my perfect solution for men and women who needed a quick, efficient, effective treatment, that takes just minutes and can transform your look. Shavata Brow Studios and Lash Lounges are now available in selected doors across the UK to help meet the demands of our clients and I have also developed my own range of fabulous products, which can help you to create the perfect brow in between your studio appointments. My range includes Pointed and Slanted Tweezers, a Brow Tamer, a Brow Shaping Kit, and Shavata false lashes to name just a few. Our best selling product are our divine Shavata Heart shape tweezers, which come in five colours and are great way of bringing fun and glamour to your everyday beauty routine.

EmEm1 I am keen to know if it was Shavata herself that said that to your daughter? I have recently had brow issues there and found the customer service afterwards to be particularly defensive and rude. Sad to see a good example of smiles and customer service when they want your business, but any complaints turn you into their enemy. I do hope you got a better outcome in the end.

I went here for my first threading ever after moving here from USA. I had only waxed before. After months of no waxing, I had tried to clean up the best I could and finally settled on threading. The experience wasn't that bad. My shape wasn't spot-on, but as I had messed up my brow shape previously I trusted the technician to do what would make it look better. They just needed to grow a little more. The main issue was that I couldn't get out of there with just an eyebrow threading. I was persuaded into buying an eyebrow pencil (which made my eyebrows look too severe) and she tried to get me to buy a deal where I pay £70 for x amount of eyebrow treatments. I just wanted to pay and leave!

I heard lots of good things about Shavata eyebrows, so when one opened at Debenhams I was delighted. I booked in for eyebrow threading & eyelash extensions, I wanted both because I was handed a leaflet the week before with a special offer price tag of £25 for both, Fabulous.

I was talked into (by the therapist) to having my brows tinted just a shade darker so I did. She threaded, tinted, then after all that, applied brow pencil quite thickly to my brows which looked like 2 black catterpillars. I couldn't understand why., but this will be revealed below.

My eyelash extensions were done by a different therapist, they were fine, didn't last long only a few days so wasn't too impressed by that, but the application and look was ok.

back to my eyebrows... when I got to the till to pay she asked for £55.. I queried this handing my leaflet for £25 she wanted to charge me more, but because I had this leaflet she didn't have a choice. The tinting was extra on top.

However, the next day I showered and started cleansing moistuerising my face but couldn't work out what was going on with my eyebrows... bits sticking up all over the place and worst of all two bald patches in the middle of each eyebrow...!!!!!!!!!! .... it completely explains why she was so eager to add brow pencil after she had completely cocked them up so I wouldn't notice.

Its taken 2 months of different shaping my own therapist to get them back to normal, and they are still not quite there.

Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole again and I think Shevata should be worried about her reputation with this concession at Westfield.

Gosh thats awful. I hope it hasn't put you off threading. As a threading therapist i see no more than five clients a day as i find you lose your creativity and need the time to talk the client through the eyebrow shape and which shape would suit ect. Not all threading therapists work in this manner and i hope you find a more trustworthy one!

Unfortunately it has. I've had my eyebrows threaded before by different therapists, couple of times great, other times not much difference in the look. Sadly this has made me go back to waxing.

my daughter had grown her brows in preparation for her wedding, went to have her eyebrows tidied up..Shavata personally has ruined them and left two thin lines, and continued to charge - whilst my daughter was crying her eyes out, Shavata went on to be rude with comments such 'well why would you not have them re-shaped?' NEVER EVER PUT YOUR FAITH IN THIS WOMAN.

Didn't go here but went to the brow bar at House of Fraser in Monument. Was a queue, which didn't mind. The brow threading was £24 which was hefty but was for my wedding so didn't mind. My brows have never looked so good though. The therapist was friendly and thorough, it was first time I ever had it dont and it converted me to threading. The therapist completely transformed my face the way plucking hadn't, giving a subtle sexy arch like a femme fatale whilst looking completely natural. I have been to other threaders since, some very good but none as good. Also afterwards they put on a soothing balm and a concealer to deal with temporary redness. I will stick to my cheaper threader at the moment (£3 a pop!), only thing stopping me going back is price but I WOULD recommend it because the brows look SO GOOD. Good for special occasions or first time.

Would you happen to have the name of the therapist?
