Really enjoyed the treatment at the salon. Friendly stuff and I felt a real difference after the visit. The skin on my back felt smooth and looked much brighter. Recommend

it was a big of a shick when the told me they did not have a nail clipper-I was having a medicure and pedicure!! I had a threaptist who was new to the venue and she needed to get approval for everything she did with her boss. she did an okay job, but seeing as I only paid 30 pounds, I am happy.

Lovely experience. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the actual treatment itself was so relaxing, I would thoroughly recommend. Not sure I would've paid the full price for the treatment but definitely worth it with the offer.

The quality of pedicure was ok although not very comfortable as there are no pedicure chairs and a therapist was resting my foot on her knee. The treatment began around 20 minutes later but the staff was friendly. Overall, not a great experience but not the worst either.

I had a back massage with scrub and exfoliation at their Notting Hill location. It was fantastic. Staff member was superb. The massage and treatment was one of the best I've ever had- left feeling amazingly relaxed. Would definitely recommend.

The venue was beautiful. Spotless and with a very relaxing ambience. The staff member was fantastic and told me what she was doing without being too overly talkative, allowing me to fully soak in the relaxing atmosphere. The massage was great and the skin treatment was superb. I left feeling refreshed, relaxed and my skin felt amazing for days. Would definitely recommend.

I had a one hour pedicure at Scin. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The pedicure was very good and the colour lasted for ages! Overall, a very good experience!

I visited Scin for a pedicure and loved every minute. Staff were attentive and the pedicure was great - the colour lasted for weeks. The hardest part choosing which colour!

I booked 60 minutes back treatment but only got about 45-50 min despite arriving early and completing all the paperwork prior to the start of the treatment.
The treatment room was quite small and the towels had a funny, rather unpleasant musty smell. I asked the therapist to change it but when she checked, all the others had the same musty smell so I ended up with my face buried in a paper towel whilst she worked on my back - not very comfy or relaxing! Also, she decided to have the radio on: she didn't ask me if I wanted it on or off and I was too polite to ask her to turn it off despite the fact that I found it rather annoying and would have preferred some nice calming, relaxing music. She did eventually turn it off so we had a complete silence in the room which then meant I could hear all the voices outside and couldn't really relax and enjoy the treatment. Pity - sometimes it's the little things that mean a lot! The treatment itself was OK.

Hi Lisa. Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your treatment. I would like to complete an investigation into the matter as these are not the standards we aspire to. Can you please email me your full name so I can do this. My email address is nicky@scin.uk.com. Thank you.

The pedicure was fine. I was almost in the shop window so it certainly wasn't a luxurious environment. The staff were friendly enough but on the whole it was not worth the list price.

it was ok, did not feel special or pampered. I guess you get what you pay for, but I did pay nearly £30. The facial was just a gentle cleansing with minimal massage, and am quite sure that the specified MURAD products were not used. The manicure was just a file and polish.
The offer was meant to include a free product, which 'conveniently' they did not have. They took my name & address saying that they would send me a product when they had them in stock. This was done so unconvincingly that was not surprised that to date have not received anything from them!

Hi there. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your experience at Scin. I think that the package you bought was a murad facial, massage, file and polish, free product. We did run out of products but if you can drop me an email with your address I will send one out to you. My email address is nicky@scin.uk.com. Thank you.

The treatment was ok but nothing special. The facilities looked a bit run down but was clean. I would not have the treatment again but would go back to Scin Central London.

This was fantastic value when booking as a Wahanda deal but I'm not sure I'd pay the full price for the pedicure offered at Scin on Great Portland Street. The benefit of this venue is that if there's two or three of you, there's room for you all to sit side by side and have a chat whilst being pampered!

I've been to Scin before and love it as a venue - it's has a lovely air of luxury about it; lots of wood and spaciousness, and very clean looking, with lovely-smelling rooms and a great overall ambience. The staff are friendly and polite and keen to please.
I have to admit I was a bit sceptical when my masseuse Lauren introduced herself to me - she looked so young! However, i was glad i said nothing, as it turned out she was brilliant; with strong, firm hands with she applied just the right amount of pressure - I was especially impressed with the work she did on my back, neck and shoulders, and i left feeling really relaxed and well rubbed down.
Will definitely be going back again.

I have been to this salon before adn really liked everything about it. Howvere, my pedicure was not very professional. Feet in a bucket and it was not very comfortable sitting on the chair. The therapist was not very professional and did not seem to have a good flow when doing my toes. I would go back to the salon but not for a pedicure.

A minimalist and modern salon, which is just how I like it. My therapist was great, took her time and we actually overran on the appointment. As others have said, I would've liked a little more attention to my problem hard skin areas. With the voucher it was great value for money, without I reckon it's pretty pricey.

This was a very pleasant morning, started off with a back massage and finished off with a pedicure. Back massage was just brilliant, recommended for relaxing and even if you have back problems like I do. Pedicure could have been a bit more thorough, but still very good (and I'm very picky)

Great way to de-stress and treat yourself after the busy summer months. Great location and very easy to get to. The facilities were very modern and the therapist was welcoming.

I really appreciate that they are available on line and could deal with my questions via e-mail; They were very quick to respond and helpful. Would use them again for a pedicure.

I was sent to Scin by Wahanda for a massage that I had bought, when the original venue could not honour the original voucher. I was really pleased that I was going to Scin because I had read good reviews and I thought it was an upmarket establishment so I was looking forward to trying out this salon.

I would NEVER go here again, nor would I recommend this place to anyone from the way I was treated. The treatment was bad and I suspect this was because I was on a voucher and it was a £20 deal and that probably explains why I was treated so unprofessionally by the senior reception staff member.

On the day of the treatment, I had got there 30mins early and in my haste I forgot to take the voucher along with me so I thought it best to inform them before I had the massage incase they would not allow the treatment without the voucher, but the lady insisted that it was ok and that I should just email it to her when I got home. I did offer to open up my email and print it off from their computer but she insisted that I should just email it later.

I filled out the medical form and chose options that indicated that I wanted a firm massage concentrating on my shoulder and neck.

I was taken to the room and asked to get ready for the massage. Whilst I was there waiting for the therapist to return, I decided to check the towels on the bed so I smelt them for freshness. I'm glad I did because the face towel smelt of body sweat and the covering towels smelt of massage oil so they didnt smell neutral or clean. When the therapist came back, I asked her if the towels were clean? She took a wiff and she kindly changed them with new ones. (If she had changed the linen as you are supposed to do after every client, she should not have obliged my request)

The massge was terrible. She told me that she would be concentrating on my back, but I told her that the problem was in my neck and shoulders so I wanted her to concentrate on those and leave the rest of my body, so she spent the rest of the time massaging my back, ten minutes on my neck and shoulders, then my legs, finishing with my arms.

I don't think she had strength in her hands as I could feel light strokes and sometimes no sensation at all. When she did exert pressure, it was as if she was playing with my body by pushing in random strokes in random places in random directions. It felt like she was using my body like a stress ball. Certainly did not feel like other massages that I have had in the past but this girl had not been qualified for long. I thought It was pretty rude of the establishment to give me an inexperienced therapist just because I was on a reduced voucher deal.

This is the worst bit:
When I was taken up to the reception, a woman with blunt cut blonde hair asked for my voucher. I told her that I had forgot it. She told me that I had to pay. I told her that I did mention it before the treatment and that if there was a problem it should have been mentioned before.
She insisted that I give her money. I said I don't have any money. She said, well I can't let you have the massage as it was on a deal and I have to take payment.
I was surprised by her attitude but I was not backing down. I offered to give her the voucher number if she could let me use her internet to access my email account. She said that they did not have internet. Then she said that the internet was down. I told her that the lady who had met me initially said that it wasn't a problem and that she gave me an email address to send the voucher to when I got home. She then asked me, 'Who told you that?' I had to show her the piece of paper where this lady had written down the email address in her own handwriting. Then she reluctantly had to back down.
This conversation took place infront of two therapists and a client who was waiting at the front desk.

I felt like a thief trying to scam my way into having a free massage which by the way, I would not have paid the full price for.

With no receptionist and the fact that you have to ring several times to get through, I'm thinking that this place is not as professional as I thought. Very snobby. Their reputation is far better than reality, but then again, I was having a discounted hour long treatment and this is probably how they treat those clients.
