My friend told me the salon was under new management. I went for a facial and it was fabulous! I felt so rejuvenated afterwards. Apart from the facial itself, I was impressed by the standard of the facilities and the ambience, given that it is in central London. I will definitely be back and recommend this spa.

I saw that this Spa was under new management and went to the relaunch evening. The welcome was very warm from all the staff and was offered a glass of champagne whilst they demonstrated various treatment, there was no hard sell. I picked up a price list and last month i booked a Darphin facial, the treatment was amazing especially when warm towels were wrapped around my feet. The atmosphere in the relaxation room is perfection. I purchase a gift certificate for a massage for my friend's birthday and she was extremely pleased and said it was the perfect gift. I would highly recommend this spa for a day of pampering.

I was running a little late so they had to tailor the session to get in as much as possible which I understood but the therapist was a little brisque with me about it which I found unnecessary as I didn't expect them to make the time up if they were busy!

The facial was relaxing and the manicure was good. Managed to mess up my nails before I left and another therapist very kindly redid it for me, hence the good marks for the therapist. Rated the staff low as I found out afterwards that they double booked me and thought I didn't show for one of them so charged me for it which took me into an overdraft - not impressed by that! Overall it was ok but at their normal rates I wouldn't go back and thought the premises would be nicer for the area than it was.

I bought this voucher for a chocolate facial as a birthay gift for my friend. She went yesterday and she called me to give me like a thousand thanks!! She really enjoyed it! She was very happy with her therapist and the facial and the massage; the whole experience exceeded her expectations and that make me look very good as I was the one who bough this as a present for her! :-))

Lovely ambience, the spa is gorgeous with a very relaxed feel to it. Highly professional therapist, and the treatments were wonderful. Great selection of colours for nails too. Lovely Sat day out and highly recommended.

The Savana Spa is in a great location & is a gorgeous place. Very clean and light, and the aesthetics are very pleasing. It is very quiet and makes you automatically relax. The treatments were fabulous and I recommend the manicure particularly. Great value for money.

it was a quiet calming atmosphere when I walked in from the outside heat. The therapist Liza was extremely professional and friendly. There was relaxing music in the background and I had the chocolate facial and foot massage. It all smelt heavenly. I think it was the best foot massage ever . This place is for you , whether one is a salon virgin or ''been there, done that'' kind of person. No hesitation in recommending this place.

Savana Spa has a pleasant atmosphere. Clean and spacious. My treatment room was large. Therapist was pleasant and chatty. She was knowledgeable about products. Innovative idea to allow children to be brought and they will look after them, although there were none present when I was there. Good location with nice shops and restaurants nearby.

Very quickly greeted and advised to sit and wait for my therapist. There was some confuson as to what my treatment was, which therapist would see and which order i would have them in
But once i was then in it was good, facial smelt yummy, foot wrap was great and feet were very soft after the coco butter was painted onto my feet, jessica manicure lasted ages too - all in all a good experience

I went here because of a special offer - they were offering the Jessica 3 week manicure for £35 instead of £45! The therapist was a nice girl who seemed very experienced - I felt relaxed in her company. The actual salon reminds me of a cave(!) and this is a good thing, its a really nice spacious space!

The manicure itself was excellent and lasted 4 weeks! I will definitely return and would like to try a facial or massage next time. Only slight downside is this place is not that cheap but the staff and salon were impressive so I would splash out in the future!

I agree with some of the other reviews that it is a lovely venue with excellent therapists (especially for massage) however it does not have good soundproofing and it is not very relaxing when I can hear people chatting outside the treatment room. If the staff enforced the quiet policy then I would go there more often since the massage therapists are excellent!

My husband gave me 200 pounds worth of Wahanda vouchers for my birthday.

I decided to come to Savana urban spa because I'd been in the past.

I really enjoyed my massage. The therapist was excellent. Because it's quite small venue, I was disturbed half way through by 2 girls giggling away in the waiting area. Not very relaxing.

The facial was less satisfactory. I chose the Sea Breeze Facial which was 1 1/2 hours. I assumed this would include extractions at the price and with all that time. It didn't. The therapist said she would do them if she had time but unfortunately, I spent the first half of the facial feeling really annoyed with myself for not checking. She then did kindly do them for me. I was also on some kind of heated water bed which was so hot I had to ask for it to be removed- the therapist did not check with me about the temperature even when I was hanging all my limbs off the bed in an attempt to cool down.

I had a shower afterwards. There was a joint body/shampoo wash but no creams or conditioner.

So- in conclusion, I'd probably go back for a massage but go to my regular place for a facial.

Well done for getting your needs met, it's always very important to communicate clearly with the therapist to ensure your treatment is suitable to your needs.

Excellent location in Notting Hill and unlike many Spas in the area you can actually get appointments on Saturdays/evenings without having to book weeks in advance. Good choice of treatments ranging from basic facials, mani/pedi and to more advanced massages/reiki etc. Most treatments rooms are "underground" (basement) so can feel a little dark / atmosphere maybe not as cozy as some other spas.

Currently have some very good value for money treatments (believe they call it the crunch menu or so) - a few 30 mins treatments for less than £30.

Had a facial (£80 for 55 mins) there a few weeks ago.

Pros & cons breakdown of experience as follows:

Pros:
Nice atmosphere
The manicure/pedicure lounge looks particularly nice by the window
Polite staff
Last minute appointment bookings
Clean skin

Cons:
Treatment was nothing special
Products used were readily available in Space NK
Did not seem tailored to my needs
Was put under steam for 20 minutes - Ridiculous considering treatment is only for 55 minutes, 20 mins of steam is unneccessary, and the therapist had left the room
No refreshments provided (herbal teas etc, however I did pick up an apple from a fruit bowl)

At £80, this isn't a particularly budget treatment, hence I was disappointed with the budget service.

Would I go again? No, thanks.

A little-black book must-have for any West London girl! Savana does everything from waxing and mani/pedis to the most amazing aromatherapy massages, body scrubs and reflexology. An extremely calm environment you can take time to relax on big comfy sofas between treatments with a magazine and cup of herbal tea, or you can whizz in and out for those regular beauty essentials!
