SAVE YOURSELF FROM DISASTER, DO NOT GO TO THIS HAIR SALON. Sadly its not possible to rate this as zero stars because it really doesn't deserve any. I went in with hair that came down further than my elbows and now i have hair over half the length shorter. I have SHORT hair. I have had long hair since the age of 10 and today I no longer do. I understand hair is only hair but ultimately your hair is a part of you. I feel as if this hair salon has chopped off a part of me, something which will take over a year to repair the damage done. During the hair consultation I said that I would like the dead ends to be trimmed, she indicated an amount to be cut off to which I responded; not that much. She then indicated a smaller amount approx. 3 inches. When she began trimming my hair she did not cut a few strands and ask if that length was okay but began cutting my hair all over before it was too late. She has chopped up to 6 inches off of my hair. Upon realizing the damage done I'm afraid to say that I burst into tears to which they responded to by attempting to usher me downstairs- out of view from any onlookers walking past the shop. My qualms to the hairdresser of being paranoid about people cutting too much of my hair off, an anxiety most hairdressers would surely understand girls with long hair have, were clearly ignored. Instead she asked me, 'do you feel lighter now?' I am devastated by what Sanrizz has done to my hair and urge anyone considering them to stay clear. If only i had read the reviews first as it seems many others have had similar disasters.

I have been to this place twice. The first time it took over three hours for half a head of highlights and a cut, which turned out not to be what I wanted and had to be rectified elsewhere. I only returned for a second time because I received a discount and the place is convenient, thinking that for a trim I couldn't go wrong. I have ended up with the worst haircut I've ever, ever had. The stylist did not listen to a word I said. Having asked for a soft, blended trim and stated that I did not want anything too brutal as I have short hair and like to look feminine, he then spent hours cutting it into what I can only describe as a buzz cut. It looks OK from the front, but at the back it is so short it looks military. I gasped in horror when I saw it and they told me it was really soft and feminine and that they'd had no option but to cut it so short. I have no idea why, as nobody bothered to consult with me during the haircut, nor to answer the questions I asked. I left the place with my face burning and went home in floods of tears. Everybody has commented on how short and masculine my haircut is, when I specifically asked for the direct opposite. It appears to me that the 'stylist' made a mistake at some point and could only rectify it by chopping huge sections off my hair, leaving an almost monk-like tonsure at the top. I am absolutely mortified and there is nothing I can do about it other than warn other unsuspecting visitors to this place never, ever to risk it.
The customer service is extremely poor as well: I have witnessed staff snapping at customers, being very sarcastic and scathing and also failing to understand customers' requests as many of the staff do not speak even rudimentary English. I am happy to give people a chance, but I wouldn't ever go to this place again and I urge you not to do so either.

This was my first haircut in the UK since I moved here from Mississippi three months ago. Back home, I had been with the same stylist for as long as I can remember so switching to someone new was quite scary. I'm really particular about my hair. I was quite nervous, and I think my stylist Daniel could tell. Daniel was great. He knew exactly what I wanted without me having to explain it, and he was easy to talk to which made me feel more comfortable. My hair is thick, but fine, and he cut and styled it exactly how I wanted. It also smells amazing. Probably going to buy whatever shampoo they used next time I'm in. I'll definitely be going back!

Awful do not go there. What was supposed to be a nice relaxing Saturday turned into a nightmare. Started off with waiting 30 minutes for my colour stylist, no one asked if I would like something to drink or told me what I was waiting for. Then once he arrived he told me he cannot do what I want. Then when he started, something went wrong and instead of only highlights I eneded up having dark toner put all over my hair that btw after 3 washes just faded and I ended up having 4 different colours on my head. Then very inexperienced Italian guy did my cut and blow dry, pulled my hair million times and did not do what I asked him to.
Avoid this place, not worth your money!

Although this was a training session, I wasn’t given the chance to give my feedback after my haircut two weeks ago, therefore I am writing it here now.
The experience itself was delayed and long. I was expecting this, but the senior stylist saying that I had ‘difficult hair to deal with’ and that I ‘shouldn’t expected too much’ wasn’t very nice! It felt like he was accusing me of breaking off my own hair due to extensions (which he called a ‘wave’ for some reason) and/or doing my hair at home myself which caused my breakage- both of which were untrue. I was shocked that my final haircut was an inch shorter than the senior stylist said that it would be, which is why I was upset. Afterwards, I did thank the trainee (via his translator as he couldn't speak English) and explained my reaction to him, so hopefully he understands.

Although I was asked by the senior stylist what I wanted when I came in, I think that it would help the trainees if they had an opinion about what to do too. This is what happens in some of the Hair and Beauty training colleges that I have visited in London, and I think that it would help the trainees here also. Also, no protective spray was used on my hair during the blow-dry or straightening iron process. This surprised me as stylists have always suggested this and used some kind of protection on my hair before.
Because I have ‘difficult hair’ as I was told, I knew that my trainee would be suffering with the thickness of my hair. Because of this, I suggested that my hair would be better if it was blow dried first and then cut, which didn’t go down well with the senior stylist (who thought that I was questioning his skills, instead of the trainee’s). He explained that this was a training session, which of course I was aware of, but his tone was unnecessarily sarcastic. I know that another customer was upset and that the senior stylist was stressed by this (he spoke openly about this in my presence), but it was unprofessional to take it out on me. By making me stand up while he corrected the back of my hair, I felt like I was being punished for this- and it was also rather embarrassing.
Although I’m grateful for my free haircut, please remember: cutting off a lot of hair can be traumatic to some customers. ‘Telling them like it is ‘can be hurtful and give the salon a bad name… I think that the trainees should be taught this also.

i am currently crying because of the most horrendous experience.

I went in with beautiful long hair. It was a session with their students, (who spoke no word of english) and cut my hair in a very poor horrible way that i am absolutely ashamed to wear it down.

THE CONSULTATION: the hairdresser did NOT listen to a word i was saying about how i wanted it to. It was, as if, she was under the influence of drugs, medication or alcohol (whatever it was, it WAS NOT pleasant).

THE CUT: they sectioned my hair in triangles and cut a HUGE triangular bit at the front INCREDIBLY short. i know look like half of my head has a FRINGE!

SERVICE: the teacher kept asking me if i was feeling good, i didn't want to be any trouble so i said I'm ok. When brushing my shiny/silky hair, the teacher kept saying it was dehydrated! when i burst into tears after the blow-dry- they took no notice of how upsetting it was.

ANOTHER thing, noticing my upset was affecting the student, one of the teachers (NATASHA) came to me and had the cheek tell me to "LOOK HAPPY" for their student, because the "student would feel bad". How dare she?

Nevertheless, she, natasha, offered me to come in again 'to soften the ends if i was REALLY unhappy. IT WAS AN IMPULSIVE DECISION, AND I REGRET IT!

THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST CUT OF MY LIFE! never going back again. I ADVISE beautiful ladies with head full of hair to NOT go to this POOR salon! POOR SERVICE/CUT. it will truly BE A REGRET for you, as it is, right now, for me.

Couldn't agree more. It is like they run this salon for their own entertainment: both times I've been I ended up with cuts that say more about the stylist than reflect me and what I actually asked them to do. I am so upset and I'm sorry you've had the same nasty experience. Being told that you are wrong and that your hair is fine is just another kick in the teeth when you've paid for something that has such a huge impact on your self esteem.

Had a haircut with Lauren - she was incredibly professional, and listened to my suggestions on the type of haircut I wanted, and offered her own thoughts. Overall, the conditioning treatment, blowdry and finish was great value for money as well. Will return.

Great experience at Sanrizz. Had haircut and blowdry by Rudi, couldn't have been better. Great consultation, listened to what I wanted and advised accordingly. Was a real perfectionist with great results.

Reviewing on behalf of my partner who had a gents haircut. This is a family run chain of salons and the owner's son cut my partners hair. It looks great, he was very pleased with the result and says he will certainly be going back. The salon looked clean, tidy and modern. So happy to recommend.

Very disappointed! I asked for a trim, a VERY basic cut. The hairdresser had other ideas. My hair is naturally very straight and not a difficult hair type to style. The stylist didn't listen to what I wanted and at one point asked me to stand up while he trimmed. I went in with quite long hair and now it's shoulder length at best. It's wonky, very blunt and very square with some horrendous 90s layers in the front. It's the worst haircut I have ever had and I've bought some dodgy groupons in the past.

It doesn't sit right and it's shorter at the back. I honestly don't know how to fix it but I'm dubious to go back incase they do a worse job in trying to fix it.

I said that I wasn't happy but they were closing and after my complaint that it wasn't really what I wanted the stylist just walked away.

Currently crying! There is nothing worse, I am ashamed to wear my hair down.

Not a good experience at all.

Overall a very good experience. The highlights in particular are great; the stylist really listened to what I wanted and I am very pleased with the results. The cut is fine but perhaps a little too 'sharp' - I asked for a looser, more layered style - but beautifully dried.
The salon itself felt a bit weird - there is a vast space in the basement which is used for teaching but was closed and dark on Saturday, but I could see down into it, so it felt a bit dead.
The staff were great - when they had a busy moment which coincided with washing my colour off, they gave me a complimentary conditioning treatment while I waited.

I have been going to Sanrizz in the Brunswick Centre since their opening and have never had a bad experience, which quite rare, taking into account the amount of times that I have been going there. That salon belongs to the top range but as such you do not feel the 'air of self-importance' or negativity of a 'posh' salon there. The staff are friendly, always, and the satisfaction from the being there is good, consistently. Your hairdresser will always listen to what you would like to be done, or if you are not sure what you'd like to do with your hair and/or how to get a bit of a change in your looks, be sure that they will advise you on that. I have changed my hair style, and love it. They also run promotional offers and once you have visited them, they will simply text you their offers. My most favourite stylists are Rudy and Lauren, they are amazing, try them and you will not be disappointed. Rudy is also doing my little one's hair and he is absolutely amazing with kids! I hope that these people will keep up their standard as it's great and I am happy that I have my local amazing hairdressers! :)

Friendly and polite staff, attractive and clean salon. Lovely head massage with the wash and a good, straightforward cut, as I requested. I wasn't there for anything fancy - it was a very satisfactory visit and my hair looked and felt great afterwards.

I can't say this was a good experience and I have no intention of going there again.

On arrival I was kept waiting 20 minutes before I even met my stylist. Then I got a rather rough shampoo and was taken to my stylist's chair where I was made to wait 10 more minutes.

The stylist was nice enough but he took 1 hour and 30 minutes to give my lengths the most invisible of trims and then he cut my fringe much too short: half-way up my forehead in spite of me saying clearly that I wanted it just above the eyebrow when dry. A month later, I'm still growing out this disastrous fringe...

Even at a discounted price, this salon is really best avoided.

I am quite particular when it comes to choosing hair salons, and i have to say i was really impressed with this Sanrizz. Lauren and Daniel were excellent, so friendly, and offered me some great tips and advice. I will definitely be back and book with Lauren and Daniel again. My colour is fantastic and Daniel really understood what i wanted. The support staff were also really good, however the receptionist kept disappearing which meant that my cut and finish was interrupted on a few occasions to deal with in coming clients - but my hairdresser dealt with the situation very well.

Despite some confusion due to the Wahanda booking system the staff couldn't do enough to help me and find an appointment that was available on the day and time I requested. Everyone at the salon was very friendly and the cut was great. Big thanks to Nicola and Luca especially.....

The staff were lovely and my stylist really took the time to make sure she knew what we were going for, explaining what she was doing as we went along. Didn't feel rushed at all and I felt very welcome, would definitely go back.

The staff members were very friendly, good location and good facilities. The highlights technician was exceptional! The colour he selected was what I wanted. I would recommend it to anyone!
