I went to Pynk Hairdressing salon and after reading the mixed reviews I didn't know what to expect. However, I must really confess I was pleasently suprised and it was overall a wonderfull experience. I was running late and the staff where very understanding and accomodating and were still able to fit me in. My hairdresser was an Italian guy who was a brilliant hairdresser with clearly good experience.

We had a consulation about my hair and he listened attentively to my choice, preference and ultimately what i wanted to have done. He then talked me through what and how he was going to cut my hair. Again, Before he cut the length he reconfirmed how much i would like trimmed to ensure I was happy. Personally, i think this was great as it prevents any misunderstanding and one being unhappy once the cut was done.

I really enjoyed my experience and would highly recommend anyone using this salon. I will definately be going again.

I for a full pamper & photography bourdoir shoot, and myself and my friend were quite nervous before turning up, but I can simply say this was one of the BEST Salon/Studio experiences I have ever had!!Although running a little late, we were well looked after,& offered a glass of bubbly for start the day. From the make up, nails, hair styling, photo session, to the end result, we were not rushed along & felt time was taken over each part of the day. Was very happy with the make up & hair and friendly banter along the way, and then it just got better & better! Taz who took our photos made us both feel very at ease despite being in our underwear in front of a total stranger!!He knows his stuff & showed upmost professionalism as well as having a great sense of humour, which really helped make our session as enjoyable as it was. There was an abundance of backdrops for the pictures, which really impressed me after having been to other venues which were in comparison, quite shocking! We were guided through everything step by step to achieve the best results. We then had a short break before expecting a hard sell session looking through the pictures, but Sam was a friendly, helpful, professional but very lovely guy who we warmed to, and who gave his honest advice, and helped us choose the final pics for us to take home that day. Myself and my friend both left feeling elated and saying what a wonderful day we had just had. I would recommend this Salon & Studio to anyone, and made a perfect day for us, and taking away some pictures we were both really proud of. Thank you to all the staff at Pynk for a truly brilliant day! :)

I recently had my hair done at PYNK in Victoria. I bought a Keynoir promotion online. As this was the first time I've used this salon I wasnt sure what to expect. However I was so pleased with the results I bought a membership. I will absolutely be going back. My stylist (Karen) was fantastic. Not only did she manage to sort some colour mistakes made by the last place I went to she also gave me a fabulous new cut, just in time for the party season. I was made to feel welcome by the staff and was plied with endless cups of tea during my time there. Thank you for sorting out my hair!!!

Utterly the worst hair dressing experience of my life. The stylist was rude and incompetent, and has ruined my hair. It will take me a number of months to grow out all of the mistakes made. This is not a glamourous place to relax, rather a horrendous place where your hair will be cut and re-cut for at least an hour and a half, while the stylist flips between saying "oops!" and oh, it's looks fabulous while your hair is slowly but surely massacred. Whether you have a voucher or you're paying full price DO NOT GO NEAR THIS SALON if you care about what your hair looks like.

I know the feeling. Had a similar experience in Artherton Cox in Marylebone and don't want to leave the house....

I had a groupon voucher for Brazilian blow dry with haircut which as I understand is to straighten the hair.I have normal wavy hair. The stylist Karen suggested I do an upgrade to nano keratin treatment which last longer than the Brazilian and is kinder on hair. To which i agreed the treatment was to last for 16 weeks but within 2 days without the shower my hair started curling up I went back the same week as my hair was back to normal at which point Karen tells me I didn't follow her instruction of after care when I said I did she tells me boots sell stuff which ain't good quality ?? she then tells me I need to blow dry and straighten my hair after every wash ??(why then do a straightening treatment which will last 16 weeks ) and then that nano keratin is not a straightening treatment. when I said she has mislead and sold me the treatment she tells me it is your word against mine. I never spend so much on myself and that was meant to be a treat for me. I cannot tell how disappointed I am.
The ambience etc was nice but if the treatment was what it was sold to be then it would be worth going. So guys if you want to do a nano Keratin treatment Pynk IS NOT THE PLACE.

I am a lady in my 50's who has dyed her hair most of my life (due to becoming grey at 20!) I have suffered for many years with frizzy dry hair, red scalp and even hair loss. At one point I even invested in wigs to give my poor hair a rest! After having a consultation with a lovely lady she recommended a treatment called Nano Keratin, which is a kind of Brazilian blowdry. I have never been so pleased in all my years of trying different products. My hair feels like real hair again and I feel elegant once more. I can't be more happier with the finish and she tells me I only need to do the treatment 2 or 3 times a year! Thank you so much for my real hair back!

Hated it al! Was stopped on the street and sold a makeover deal plus photo shoot for myself and a friend.
Please note the small print, when I booked the verbal deal had changed, so instead of two pics we would only get one and a £50 deposit pp for weekdays or £75pp was required...not mentioned when sold the deal.

Regardless we attended, the makeover was not great the manicure was a simple and bad polish change, no base or top coats, the girl doing the make over seemed really nervous but she was sweet and a lot better at make up than nails!!
The make up looked good as did my hair style but took a loooong time, we were then sent downstairs for the pics, this was ok, photographer was quite friendly, took a while, and after 4 outfit changes we changed back into our day clothes and went to wait.....and wait......and wait.....and wait....you see where Im going....

2 hours later our photo's were ready to view, by now we were both more than annoyed, and after expressing our annoyance at waiting so ridiculously long, the female member of staff was more than rude, We disregarded most pics, were allowed one free and happily left. Would never visit again, nor to get the discount on hair cuts...don't get me started on the stylist that was working there.... All in all if it had not been for the sweet make up girl, I'd be giving Pynk a 0 rating.

Had a 'deal' to get hair, makeup, mini facial, mini manicure and professional photos taken. Arrived at the appointed time only to wait 1.5 hours to get the first 'treatment'. Of course I complained about the lack of service, lack of information and asked at least 4 times for my money back. The staff apologised, but had no suitable explanation. I offered to come back another day so that the people behind us in the ever increasing queue could jump ahead, we were assured it would all happen in 15 minutes.

The 'champaign' was pink and horrible. The music loud to the point of being unable to hear the stylist.
The nail treatment was poor with only a file and polish applied - no actual hand massage or tidying up of the cuticles (small things I know, but I had expected better). I removed it the next day as the finish was terrible.

Onto the hair and make up - this was a highlight and I was very pleased with the result. Another wait and then to the photos. These seemed OK and the photographer tried to get me to smile and get me to enjoy myself, but frankly I was annoyed beyond belief and not really liking the experience.

Another couple of small things: the music in the photo studio was loud and inappropriate - mainly the lyrics to some of the songs were unsuitable to children (yes there were 2 that I saw there). The toilets had no paper in them, the floors looked dirty and needed a good clean.

We were asked to wait another 45 mins to 1 hour for the photos to be ready, but by 5pm we had had enough and went home. I have yet to see myself and my friend in the photos but expect the 'sell' part of the process to be excruciating.
Tips for going for this experience:
1. phone before leaving home to see if they are running behind time
2. Take a book to read as it is a very long wait or take your own music
3. Take food as it will be a very long day.
4. Don't expect too much.
5. Have a tonne of patience - I don't, as my weekends are precious time off from work I hate wasting time when I could be doing something else.

Sure enough the brochure says it is going to be 4 - 6 hours, but with much better scheduling it could be done in 1 to 1.5 hours.
If anyone from PYNK is reading this here are some tips:
- DON'T schedule people all at the same time, allow 30 mins between groups of people, you can't possibly expect 4 people to go through at the same time.
- PHONE or text the customers to give them the choice of coming later, rather than making us wait for 1.5 hours (in fact some people on the waiting couches had been there 2 hours!), I know you have my number as it was on the booking in the computer.
- DO allow people to change their bookings so that they can come back when it is less busy and can get the whole service done in a suitable time frame.
- DO manage expectations, why not be honest and tell us when we get there that you are running horrbily behind.

Still feel angry about the whole thing, but I guess I will get over it.

I came down to Pynk studios in March 2011. I had done a day like this before elsewhere so was a little concerned that we would be herded around like cattle and then given a hard nosed salesman to try and sell us the images at the end. I couldn't have been more wrong. I was with my 79 year old Grandmother who I was bringing for her birthday and really wanted to treat her to something special. The people at Pynk didn't let us down. While my gran was drinking her champagne we made our decisions about the shoot and had a blast. My gran said it was the best fun she'd had with her clothes on!
Although I couldn't afford a lot of images we took as many as we could and the person that showed us our photos at the end was just lovely with no pushy sales techniques to get us to buy what we couldn't afford. Wonderful mementos from a memorable fun day out.

What a great day for me and my pregnant wife. There were some great pictures of us and our bump. We were over the moon with the final images and can't wait to come back when the bump is a baby and have our first "family" shoot! Thank you!

After feeling slightly dubious about buying a promotion from someone on the street for PYNK for a hair promotion and a day at the studio for a make-over a photo session I have to say I'm over the moon with the results.
I took my niece for her birthday. (Her 18th) and we could not have had a better time. we were greeted with a glass of bubbly as promised and were made to feel as special as I'd hoped. The photo shoot was great fun (although not normally my thing) and I have to say that the photos turned out brilliantly. After years of hating the way I look in photos it was great to see the results after a professional team got their hands on me.
My niece has already put hers on FaceBook and I must admit to having a photo up in pride of place on my piano! A wonderful day out and did exactly what was promised. Thank you.

I have been back since to take advantage of the hair cut part of the promotion and again have been really pleased with the results. I will be going back to PYNK for haircuts again and I really don't think that £35.00 is expensive for a cut when you consider how much I've paid in the past for a cut and colour.

Thanks so much to the team at PYNK for a great day and a wonderful cut!!

Me and my sister have bought this whole package thing last year at the Vitality show offering us dicount on hair and photoshoot. Not my cup of tea but my stster loves this kind of things so just to keep her happy I agreed to it.

We first went ahead with booking th ephoto session. We rung the studio up and booked an appointment. We had to put down £100 refundable deposit but it has been clearly explained to us why we needed to do it and what were the conditions. We received confirmation email on the day off booking and and a phone call the day before reminding us about the session and what we needed to bring along.

We arrived to the studio an required 15 mins before the appointment. Studio looked really busy and we thought it would be like in other studios where there is lots of people booked in at the same time and everything is so rushed through but turns out it wasn't like this.
Host explained the whole day to us again, offered us drinks and afterwards we had brief consultation with hair&make up people. I wasn't sure what I wanted but the make up artist advised what would look nice and would match my outfits so I thought I may let her do it since she is was experienced with this kind of stuff.
I must say my hair and makeup was amazing. If I only could re-create make up like this at home :) My sister after her makeover looked totally different, like not my sister :)
The photoshoot itself was also very pleasant experience. Photographer was very friendly, the studio was private so there was no one else there looking at us so we could totally relax and enjoy ourselves.
Pictures came out absolutely amazing. We loved every single one and decided to buy all of them. They were quite pricey but totally worth every penny.

Few days ago I had my 1st cut at Pynk done by Sharon (if I remember right) and it was fantastic! I was really scared cause usually hairdressers cut too much of my hair but this girl did show me how much she wanted to take off and confirmed if it was ok with me. I absolutely love my new colour as well cause Sharon advised I should go little bit darker. Now everyone compliments me on my new look.

Definitely worth the money!!!!!

I went to Pynk twice as I bought a voucher from this "prime hair salon" situated in Belgravia.

Ok, first of all, it is NOT in belgravia but by Victoria Coach station. And the place is rightfully described by my friend as "her worst nightmare". Is is like cheap low rate hairdressing tip trying to hide its filth with hello tacky bright pink and fake white leather design. But enough of that.

The first time I went there, the hairdresser decided to do a "natural" tone of blonde on me. Result? I ended up with three tones of blonde, or might I say, two tones of blondes and one tone of ginger. Much to my disgust, I looked like a zebra and each single highlight was clearly visible. I looked absolutely ridiculous. And I told I wanted something natural for about 45 minutes to the hairdresser. When I saw the result I closed my eyes as I just could NOT believe how cheap I was looking. I am sincerely not making up any story.

Of curse that is not just me, all my friends had a great laught when they saw me getting out for the first time with my highly defined orange stripes

.A few month after, I decide to give it an other chance. WHAT A JOKE when I see the very same hairdresser saying how "brassy" my hair was! He removes to brassiness that he created himself a few months earlier, but forgot massive patches on the front, which left me with orange hues. I had enough of it so I just had to inspect my hair and point out all the bit he actually left out. Absolutely appaling.
Of course the whole think took about four hours.

I think it is extremely disappointing as I felt the hairdresser was just a total joke. When did you have to actually point out the bit that one forget to highlight?

The haircut was good though, although one bit was far longer than the other (I had to point it out as well)

Then, what decided me to write this comment is the fact that I went for the photoshoot session this sunday and was reminded that Pynk is in fact a total scam. One of the employee was actually sleeping on the sofa with her three year old kid running around, and the employee was so rude to us, trying to force us to buy additional pictures of the "free photoshoot" by saying that we "had to go for a package" as the employees had spent the day putting make up on us.

Please do keep clear of this place, it is not even a real professional hair salon, It is so expensive for what it is, and you will see how tacky it is just by having a look at it. It is just a massive joke.
