It was a nightmare, after arriving I had to wait 20 minutes until someone asked me if I am a customer. The massage was the worst ever, no skills, no chance to relax. The batteries of the fire alarm (in the treatment room) were beeping all the time, because the batteries need to be changed. And after I told the masseur that it is really annoying, she didn't respond. Just laughed about it. I'm glad that I had a voucher, but it was a waste of time. I just can recommend tp everybode to never to go there.

Very sorry to say, this was the worst experience I have ever had. Its impossible to make a booking, the staff are rude and not trained, they got our bookings wrong, so one of us had to have a massage with a male, when we specifcally said... we wanted a female to do the massage. I got vouchers as gifts for family online. It was rushed and they were practically throwing us out the door at 6 when the treatment was finishing at 6pm. It wasnt relaxing at all. The room was also dirty and i also ended up with a huge bruise on my arm! Spa is a huge overstatment its the bottom of a pahrmacy, just well painted with few fancy cushions thats all! Waste of my time, money, and waste of my energy rather than feeling a little more relaxed i ended up being rerally angry and upset!

I had an aromatherapy massage. They gave me a consultation at the beginning which I thought was unnecessary. The massage was ok. I've had better ones in London.

I had an Indian Head Massage and was so impressed by the results. The guy who did it was brilliant, he really knew what he was doing. Although painful at times during the actual massage, I'm glad I trusted his advice that it was the best way to get rid of the stress I'd been holding, because I definitely felt lighter afterwards and couldn't stop smiling all weekend! Also, my boyfriend and family told me I looked glowing and this radiance in my skin also lasted for the whole weekend. Will definitely be going back.

It's worth trying the indian massage in general and the therapist seems to know what he's doing. Special. But not with enough pressure. Very good customer service. And they have homeopathic medicine to go with the treatment which is useful.

Very disruptive as male therapist was constantly attending to other customers during massage, this was not a relaxing experience at all. The advice given at the end was good but overall not satisfactory.

There was nobody at the reception desk when we arrived so we were taken into the room late. The therapist i had appeared untrained in massage, no prior consultation done and unfamiliar with good customer service. Although the second therapist was better the overall experience was rushed and did not feel relaxing.

It is a bit hot in the treatment room which wasn't very comfortable. Also the therapist talks too much. However my friend went and she said her masage was quite good.

The place itself is tucked away under a shop. There was some confusion over my appointment time but the staff were friendly and make sure to accommodate me. The place is very basic, the massage proficient, so overall I felt that it was good value for money. An Ayurvedic doctor popped in before the treatment to give me a quick emotional and physical diagnosis before the massage, which was an unexpected but nice touch.

The clinic is inside the pharmacy, at the back. No problem. What I hadn't realised, as I don't think previous reviews (at the time I went) mentioned it, was that the therapist was male. I've only had a few massages before, all by women, so I was a bit surprised and apprehensive. Obviously, it turned out I didn't need to be. He was excellent. He correctly diagnosed what my problem was without me saying a word and advised me of what foods to stay away from, as well as a a herbal tea that would help. The massage itself was excellent. And for anyone unsure about having a man massage them, he massaged my back, neck and shoulders, lower arms to elbows, lower legs to knees, and head, so I felt no awkwardness. All in all, would highly recommend.

The venue is located within the same building as a chemist, BUT the street is very well numbered and you can clearly see the sign for the venue as soon as you look inside the chemist. It's very nicely appointed, with plenty of reception room - certainly one of the best waiting areas I've seen in a salon. The gentleman doing my massage was VERY good and obviously knew what he was doing. I went for the massage to relieve back / shoulder strain, rather than it just being a treat, and it did the job exactly. I had the massage four days ago and I'm still feeling the benefits.

The only thing I'd change is to possibly have a little background music on in the room.

All in all I would thoroughly recommend, it's excellent value for money, and very possible one of the best massages I've ever had (and I've had a lot!). I will certainly be booking this again.

Whilst one is a little confused to find that the clinic is accessed through a chemists, as others have mentioned. This is a small point. The clinic is nicely appointed and welcoming. My therapist was great and was able to identify my specific issues quickly. I arrived strung out and ratty and left balanced and peaceful. Great value for money!

Very satisfied! Recently i had many personal problems and lets say i was out of balance. The day i was going to take the treatment (which by the way was a gift from my friend ) i was filling nervous and anxious. At the beginning i was confused as i couldn't find the place as its at the back of the pharmacy and there was no sign on the road. The saloon was nice and clean . The massage itself was an amazing experience- honestly the best i had inn my life till now - my therapist first had a chat with me checked my energy levels and advised me small changes to my diet which should help cure my anxiety as well as i was advised to get a 100% natural herbal tea which was made in the ground floor pharmacy. The massage was very nice- and most importantly i felt really relaxed and happy by the time i got out of the clinic. For the first time in my life i had impression that the person doing the massage really knows what he is doing - it was really therapeutical and really helped to lift up my bad moods. I will definitely come back and i'm advising to all of my friends who need a bit of physical up lift to do the same.

I went to the spa for an Aromatherapy massage and although there were no external signs identifying its location, it wasn't too hard to find after asking a few questions of local shopkeepers. The spa itself is clean, nicely decorated and has comfy seating and a good supply of magazines whilst you wait. This is just as well as my appointment was 15 minutes late in the end, which made for a slightly unrelaxing start. Once the therapist, Colette, did get started, however, it was one of the best massages I have had and I left feeling totally calm and de-stressed. Whilst the overall management of the spa schedule needs some improvement, I would thoroughly recommend Colette as a therapist.

I booked myself and my mother into the venue for an hour long aromatherapy massage each. We found the experience very calming and rejuvenating, the staff extremely pleasant and knowledgeable and the facilities comfortable and clean. In addition to the massage we were provided with a brief health consultant in which we were individually advised on suitable dietary changes and herbal teas (available in the ground floor chemist above) in order to improve our health and wellbeing. We were pleasantly surprised by this brief added consultation and having employed these changes in our lives over the last few weeks since our visit we have both been quite surprised by the very apparent positive changes it has brought about in our wellbeing. What had been a one off visit to try and offer a calming respite to a stressful period has brought about positive change and we certainly feel compelled to return for further treatment and advice. I would highly recommend this spa clinic for the visible positive results in our mental and physical wellbeing as well as the knowledgeable and affable staff.

I booked this as a last minute treat after a stressful week. The price seemed really good value for a 60 minutes massage - £30 is a bargain in London!

The place was a little confusing to find as it is inside a large pharmacy. However the clinic can be found after going down a flight of stairs and it is clean, spacious and had a nice little reception area. Once there the therapist made me feel a form and asked me what type of massage i wanted and which area she should be concentrating on,which was nice since not all therapists ask!

My massage was aromatherapy massage and she used some lovely rose scented oil which smelt divine and didnt leave me completely greasy.
The massage was great and thorough - i really appreciated that the therapist took the time to concentrate on all areas.

I will definitely go back!

This was my first visit to Prana Vital Health Spa. I really enjoyed the treatment it was very relaxing and calming. The venue is located downstairs within a chemist. I received a free initial consultation with a herbalist who recommended some herbal tea's which was very interesting. I would definitely recommend this venue to friends. Despite being near a number of tourist attractions, the spa is very peaceful and tranquil.
