I had a great personal training session with Ronnie at Powervibe Studio this week. Everything was carefully planned and thought through: my requirements, the excellent mix of cardio and resistance work plus flexibility and stretching. We also went outside to the patio at the end which was lovely. A small but perfectly formed venue in Notting Hill.

What I really liked about Powerplate is that you only need 30 minutes to do intense exercise and then you can get on with your day. I was very impressed with top trainer Ronnie and had a nice chat with her business partner Abby, they are both super-professional and super-friendly.

Highly recommended.

Facilities pretty horrible, totally worn out, peeling paint, cheap materials and fixtures. Trainer (a guy) was ok. When the owner or manager tried to push me into buying a package deal and I didn't want to she became pretty rude. They basically charge what a much nicer, better run place would charge.

I bought the 20 for 3 deal but unfortunately was only able to use one out of three sessions. The venue is fine (albeit on the small side) and the staff was great and extremely attentive during the workout. However, I realised that the powerplate workout was just not for me as I tend to develop a strong headache after it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this and the fact that the trainers pays attention to your level of fitness and adjusts the level of intensity for each person was great as my fitness level is mugh higher than the others so I liked that I still felt challenged. Its a great workout and the facilities are clean; staff is friendly and great. There are only 4-5 powerplates which means they pay more attention to you and ensure you are pushing yourself which is what you need. Only 25 mins long but its still a workout! With the Wahanda deal its such a bargain, I would totally recommend,.

I signed up for the '3 Powerplate Sessions for £20' deal, which was incredible value for money. The Studio has a nice atmosphere and all the staff are lovely. I was surprised at how effective the half an hour supervised workouts were, I could really feel my muscles ache for a couple of days after each work out! I will definitely be back for more...

The venue is small but this means you get personal training. There was a small room to change in but no lockers. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and were constantly checking that we were managing the exercises ok (which were more strenuouse than I had expected). The Powerplates are not the easy option but a 30min session is supposed to give the same benefit as a 90mins workout and I did feel like I had had a workout. Best part...That would be the leg massage at the end of the session.

Give it a try

I thought I would use this deal to kick-start an exercise programme to improve my fitness levels but I was really surprised at how unfit I actually was when using the power plate.

Hanna, the trainer, was superb, very friendly and a real confidence builder so I managed much more than I thought I would at the start and she gave us very varied exercises so I really felt that I was getting the best experience of the plate and the session. The power plate does seem to be a great way to get a real workout in a short space of time and I certainly would recommend it.

The only downside was that the studio was smaller than I thought it was going to be and the lack of facilities meant I had to spend the rest of the day sweaty as I live some distance away from the studio and I had planned a whole day in London around the session.

Overall, though, I enjoyed the session. Well worth the money!

I had never tried power plates before so this was a great introduction. Did get a good work our but 30 min sessions were a little short, so I did need to run home after to boost my work out. Staff knew me and were very plesent, progressed my workout each time. I would like to continue but it is depant on costs.

It was my first time using a power plate so my sister and I were invited to have an induction first and were given a thorough walk through over how the machine works. We have so far had 2 different instructors who have both been great, which in my eyes a good instructor makes you work without being too shouty. So far I have only had 2 classes but i am definitely looking into getting a membership as i have noticed an improvement already.

I had two different people training me on the power plate and they were both great. They know and listen to want you want to work on and train you accordingly. Would definitely go back!

I had 3 classes at this studio and I didn't enjoy my experience. My first class was at 6pm, I arrived at 5.45pm to find the studio closed. The instructor didn't arrive until 6pm, so didn't have time to give me an induction. I was then rushed to complete the registration form & get changed as quickly a possible so that the next class could start on time. To top it off, on two occasions there was a small dog in the room for the duration of my class. Now I don't have anything against animals, but I would prefer not to have them around me when I'm exercising, especially when the venue is extremely small.
