Pilates Body Awareness is a Pilates studio based in Angel.

Taught from beginner's level all the way up to the highest international standard, PBA's group mat-work classes have featured extensively in magazines from Vogue and Tatler to Time Out and Elle.

Avoiding the use of special equipment, director Chris Hocking's classes are designed to be effective, inspirational, fun and affordable. They are also flexible, in that classes can be swapped as your schedule dictates, and carefully graded so that you will always be working safely, but in a challenging environment.

I really appreciated the fact that our Pilates teacher gave me a courtesy call the day prior to the class in order to direct me to the correct location and inform me of the improvised kit - this was my first Pilates class and I was very happy with it. Will most likely continue on and purchase the 10 classes deal.

This class was definitely the best pilates class I have been to. The moves cater for all levels and you can really feel them working! I would recommend 100%!
Looking forward to my next class!

It took me 30mins to get to the area where I then spent 45 minutes looking for the venue and couldn't find it; I looked for help online but failed to find anymore directions other than the address (which citymapper, google maps and imaps couldn't direct me to). Furthermore, I rang the organiser who had been texting me appointment reminders and details to ask where to go, and she had never been to the venue before and couldn't help me either. For future customers I would provide a map or at least a phone number for the people who are actually taking the class or a phone number to the venue. The whole situation was extremely frustrating as I have recently moved to London and I am very unsure about transport and general getting around and doing things in London. Abby

Very happy to have found this offer and to have started my 10 weeks course at Pilates Body Awareness. The class is really enjoyable and the venue is simple but quite nice.

These Pilates classes have been an essential part of my exercise routine for many years. Chris Hocking's passion and dedication to this discipline is remarkable, and her knowledge of the structure and the use of the body is second to none.
The teaching is clear and precise, and the exercises are varied and dynamic, enabling a thorough and targeted workout. She takes into consideration your body type, so there is no stress or injury, and you finish the session feeling motivated, invigorated and energized. My understanding and appreciation of good posture and healthy body movement is all down to these classes.
All in all, a great investment in your body and health that is very worthwhile and good value for money.
