I took a full body deep tissue massage with Rebecca and all I really enjoyed it. I have back problems but after the therapy I felt so relaxed and as if my body was weighing so much less. Rebecca is highly educated and she knew what exactly to do for my back. I have had massage therapies before, but this was definitely my top one. Very clean place, welcoming people and high expertise. Will go back!
As you can see from my reviews, I have quickly turned into a regular client. I throughly enjoyed my massage and shellac manicure by Rebecca. With the shellac, she really did an excellent job, both in shaping my nails and applying the colour beautifully. It lasted very, very well. Most importantly, my nails looked amazing. the massage that followed, was, as always, a great treat. I'd had an enervating week, and very quickly I was relaxed and blissful. A really excellent offer, highly recommended.
After my taster facial a few weeks before, I booked on for the full length version. I was not disappointed. The longer version contains a very thorough massage- I opted for scalp rather than hands/arms. So while the amazing natural scented mask worked it's magic, Rebecca's skilled hands did some sorcery of their own. It was very relaxing and I was much less stressed afterwards. It really helped clear my thoughts and brighten my mood. My skin is also still glowing nearly a week later. Highly recommended!
Went for a taster facial the day after my massage and it was brilliant too. Lovely to have organic products and a good long facial massage. Full marks. Booked a full length facial on the strength of the taster one.
Just had an amazing massage a stone's throw from Princess Street. I was a bit stressed out with sore shoulders yesterday, so needed to get a few knots worked out and relax a bit. So I looked at Wahanda and booked an e-voucher or an hours massage at Peace and Pearl therapies. From the moment I walked in, I knew I had come to the eight place. The therapist, Rebecca, was warm and welcoming. The bright spacious main room let onto a simple, elegant and calming treatment room. Rebecca took the time to chat through my needs thoroughly at the start of the session. She was knowledgeable, understanding and showed a lot of empathy for my needs. Whilst changing, I noticed her qualifications on the wall- and they were very reassuring. Her degree in Complementary Therapies from Napier University was awarded with distinction ( and given the quality of the massage to follow, the distinction was well deserved). It was very obvious that Rebecca had listened to me properly during our session. The knots in my shoulders that desperately needed the attention of deep tissue technique and she gave them thorough and appropriate attention- firm enough to relieve the tension, not so firm it hurts. On other areas, she used very light pressure, as I had explained that this was what I found most relaxing. Very importantly, she did not skimp on the session or cut any corners. It is obvious that this young women is intent on building a thriving business and understands that the best way to do this is to give her clients her full attention and skill set. She has recently gone self employed having been employed for two and a half years on top of her degree studies. And the end of the session we had a chat about my future needs re massage and also on the benefits of organic skincare (of which I am already a big fan). The experience was so good, I had no hesitation in booking a taster facial the next day, and I will return soon for another massage. After the massage, I popped to a nearby cafe, and the girl behind the counter remarked that I looked like I was having a really good day. So the results are visible even to strangers. All in all, a really fantastic experience at a very reasonable price.
