Great service and lovely salon! I booked a cut and finish which I was really pleased with. The salon has a great atmosphere too. I will be returning!
Had my haircut by Toni. Appointment was on time, he didn't rush, he listened to what I wanted and gave me some good tips. Will definitely go back again!
I have rated this haircut 5 stars. Returning customer, this time with Alex (previously Toni has cut my hair). Again listened, had the time, and knew/understood hair. Thank you.
I was a little unsure when entering the salon, I always am when visiting new salons. But to be honest I needed have been. The staff who spoke with me we're all very nice and chatty and smiley. Nicola was my stylist, I picked up her name during the visit as I was at no point introduced. She explained she had worked there for 14 years and this put my mind at rest. The salon generally seemed quite welcoming though in need of a little tlc in places. My appointment was early on so ran very smoothly from colour, wash, cut and blow dry. As the day went on it did fill up due the amazing offers available. My stylist had three people's cut to do at one point so once she had cut mine went onto the next customer. Which did make the whole experience make like a conveyor belt at one point and lost its professionalism, however being seen first meant I didn't have to wait so bear that in mind when booking an appointment. I only had a trim so cantreally comment but I was happy with the end result. I was then moved onto Maria, the blow dry queen!! She was amazing and did an excellent job on my hair. The manager even said how good and fast she was. So if you want a cheap, quick good cut and colour this is a great salon and that is exactly what you get. If you are used to a calm, professional service with one stylist overseeing all your services it might not be the place for you. I will be returning to oolong but might occasionally treat myself to a visit to a slightly more luxurious salon every now and then.
Apparently overbooked so took 4hours to do my hair. Colour was too dark and the hairdresser insisted on doing the darkest black despite my preference for a more brownish tinge. He was alone as they were short staffed that day and he did try his best to accommodate me where possible however due to the risk of losing old clients, he attended to them first, hence took me 4hours most of which i was waiting. The place was small and cosy but i think better realistic time management of bookings may help avoid future disappointments. Thanks.
