Ockenden Manor Hotel & Spa part of Historic Sussex Hotels

Ockenden Manor Spa, a harmonious blend of modern design and nature's inspiration.

Exceptional facilities in a unique environment. The South's newest and most utopian spa, fed by its own underground spring.

Nestling in the warm green of the West Sussex countryside, Ockenden Manor Spa has been designed to create a haven from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Purpose-built inside a 19th century walled garden, the contemporary airy structure contrasts and complements its neighbour, the Elizabethan Ockenden Manor, and shares it nine acres of parklands and gardens.

Booked an overnight spa experience with a girlfreind. A 3 course dinner, bed and full breakfast plus £25 each towards a treatment of our choice, all for &279. Lunch and drinks were the only extras. It was wonderful. The customer service at both the hotel and spa was excellent. The hotel generously deducted £75 from our bill due to a fire alarm that went off ( for a few brief seconds) during our nights sleep.
The spa was immaculate, with staff continuously maintaining excellent hygiene standards. The sauna and steam were all high spec and functioned perfectly. The indoor pool was big enough to get a workout in, and we enjoyed swimming through to the outdoor pool.
I had a 90 minute massage and my freind had a facial. Both our therapists were excellent, very skilled, polite and helpful. Both were able to maintain a comfortable silence that allowed for utter relaxation without any awkwardness. Very professional, unlike some places I have experienced where the therapist might feel the need for chatter.

My husband and I recently went to Ockenden Manor & Spa to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We had an amazing time and felt very relaxed during our stay. We think this is the best spa we have ever been too with excellent facilities, excellent staff and the perfect break for a special night away! We had a standard room and this was immaculate with attention to detail and the bed was extremely comfortable. We can't wait to go back! Thoroughly recommend this.

Just a wonderful place.
Not far from London, but a place to escape to, to relax and unwind. Will visit again.

A lovely relaxing day at Ockenden Manor. The staff were outstanding, very happy, cheerful, and kind. The cleanliness was outstanding, I have never been to such a clean well cared for spa/facility before (and I have visited quite a few). I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Perfect. It was like a mini holiday break condensed into a day - a great way to unwind. Polite & helpful staff, great treatment, lovely lunch and great ambiance. Could not have asked for more. Thank you. Returning next month!

The Ockenden Manor Hotel was very nice and all staff were very friendly. In particular the breakfast was excellent in the morning.
The Spa was really fresh and modern and in very picturesque surroundings. Again, all staff were very friendly and polite. A very relaxing place to be!

Fantastic overnight break with Spa access, dinner and breakfast included. Arrived very early and was told that although the room was not ready (expected) that we could use the spa facilities for the whole day for no extra charge, which was a great touch. Spa itself is great, only reason for 4* is because the indoor jacuzzi was very small and the amount of seating was limited for the number of people, though i was told this was a very busy day. Dinner was tremendous with canopies also provided as well as a beautiful three course menu, couldn't ask for more in that respect. Would highly recommend.

I visited with a friend back in January. We were lucky enough to have dry sunny weather which made the outdoor hot tub a real treat despite the frosty morning. The spa is in a purpose build modern building right next to the hotel and the facilities are very good. I had the Bio Rhythm Ritual, a treatment that I normally would shy away from due to the holistic undertones of the description, but I have to say it was one of the best treatments I've ever had. Staff were very attentive, our room was quaint and comfy with beautiful views over the gardens and the food absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend and would love to visit again.

The staff were very polite and acommidating . When we arrived we were offered an up grade, free of charge .The massage was amazing , best I've had! Very clean venue, staff working hard cleaning up after customers. Great food with extra courses thrown in for good measure. Great value for money , would recommend it. Only down side was the steamer was not hot enough .
