I was here for a haircut about a year ago and just wanted to share my dissapointment with this place.
I was seated upstairs and it took them almost 30 minutes and about 5 staff to walk past me twice to notice me and then say it would take another 10 mins before someone was available.
No drinks were offered either.

The interior was clean, but looked very hollow to me. I did not feel comfortable at all. My haircut took place upstairs where it looked like a graveyard. I was the only one there and the only lights that were on was the table where I was sitting.

The stylist who eventually turned up was nice. The haircut was decent enough, but I still wouldn't go back there.

I bought a voucher for a hair cut and style but had to book on line,. The on line system only books 30mins for a 1 hour haircut, so they called my a day before to cancel my appointment. I rthen re booked this appointment when the therapist called to cancel but when I checked on line (lucky I did!) it had been booked on the wrong day. I had to then change the booking myself on line. I was then called on the day and told that the stylist was off sick and they needed to re schedule my appointment. I emailed them to try and re schedule but no response. I have now found out that the Regent Street salon is now closed! I have to now chase them for a refund as they dont even have the courtesy to refund customers who havent had their treatments!

I have also used O Spa canary wharf for treatments and their therapists are not very experienced at all so the treatments are well below the standard I would expect. Once I had a mani /pedi booked but the nail technician was not in that day so instead another therapist who never does mani/pedi's did my treatment! I wouldnt use them again. O Spa seem to think they can treat their customers in this manner but how muh longer will they get away with this for? They have terrible reviews and there is good reason for this.
I have been to small salons that dont have the ambience but they provide a great service and excellent treatments. There are far too many salons out there to choose from and O Spa need to make BIG improvemnts to stay in business!

I visited the City Riverside. I had a wonderful massage and a facial and also relaxed in the terrace which looks over the Thames. It is a really wonderful view and a great ambiance in this spa. The treatment rooms were big and comfortable but my only negative was the room was a bit cold although the bed was not. I did not think it would be as large as it was and would have taken my shorts to go in the hydra pool and steam etc! I have to say it was pretty amazing value for money at less than £35!

Had a groupon deal for this salon, managed to book through their online booking system but when I arrived for my appointment the receptionist said there was no booking for me at all. Receptionist obviously didn't know what to do but after about 20-30 minutes they decided I could have my treatments. My therapist asked my name numerous times, yet continued to call me "lady" for the duration of my treatments. Then the therapist started moaning (to me) about how she's sick of being told to clean salon areas. She was pre occupied by the room door being open and got up to close it about 5-6 times, looked round everytime someone came in or out of the room, generally wasn't interested in doing my treatments at all. Overall, the manicure was passable but my pedicure was awful. She said I had bad circulation but failed to give any type of massage during the pedicure. Will not buy vouchers for this place again, even if they are really good deals! I think it needs to shut down or undergo a management change.

First - Please let me say this was a Groupon deal - don' EVER buy them. Wahanda are much more interested in customer service than Groupon. I haven't actually had the treatment as it was booked 3 months in advance for the day before my holiday, then the night before the treatment I got a voicemail saying they were cancelling due to "staff sickness" BUT reedeeming my voucher and I had 24 hours to rebook!.
Naturally the next day was spent running round to get my hair done at 11th hour. Couldn't get though on the number they gave at all... just rung out every time (Still does).
When I returned from holiuday I tried to rebook but as you can see from everyones comments you can NEVER get through. After 2 weeks of trying I went back to Groupon to get a refund and I'm still waiting...
O Spa take the money from the vouchers but don't provide the service.
it's common knowledge that they don't answer the phone and they cancel appointments but redeem their money.
I would never use them again and would warm people away from groupon deals as they don't care if you don't get the service you pay for as they already have your money!!!

I visited OSpa at Austin Reed last week and even though I didn't buy the deal through Wahanda, I wanted to share my experience so that you are forewarned! The first criticism is that it is impossible to get through on the phone, and the online booking system is very difficult to navigate. I called them repeatedly for 3 days, and on the 3 occasions I did get through I was cut off immediately. The second criticism is that I was kept waiting for 20 minutes, and when I asked the receptionist how much longer I would be waiting, she seemed surprised. It was clear she had no intention of keeping me informed. The third criticism is that the nail varnish was so old and watered down, it started peeling off the same night. The treatment I had was called "finishing touches" and should have cost £75. Definitely not worth even half of that! The only good thing about the experience was the therapist - who was lovely, chatty and professional (well, as professional as she could be given the environment). My advice would definitely be - AVOID!

Hello,
This is not a review about the Spa its self this is about the terrible service i have recieved from O Spa as a whole!!
I purchased a voucher from Groupon on the 6th July for Straightners. I ordered this item to be told on my invoice that I would recieve these within 3-4 days. Terms and conditions confirmed this at the point of ordering. A week later I contacted groupon and was given a phone number. It turned out that this number was for a salon who then informed me that head office does not have a phone number. What headoffice does not have a phone number. The salon informed me that O Spa are now delievering their items within 28 days of ordering. This is fine however a email would have been the least I would have expected to inform me of this change. I then checked terms and conditions and these had been changed to reflect the 28 days.
It has now been 40 days and I have still not recieved my items. I have contacted them by email twice with no reply. I have also contacted the "call centre" constantly since monday but it has been constantly riniging out.
From the other commenst I have read it shows that it is not just the product service that is terrible but the O Spa company as a whole.
I would stronlgy advise that this company is not used if you want to get good customer service.
Thank You

Hi - I too ordered a the straighterners on July 4th based on the same information. The last I heard was the next batch was due for despatch on August 15th - still not received 7 days later. Can anyone confirm that they have been despatched? Alternatively I would like a refund.

The treatment was fine, but the salon was very disorganised. My treatment was delayed for more than half an hour, then they got me confused with another client. However, once it got started it was very enjoyable. It's a shame, though, that this particular massage only focuses on the back, as a leg and arm massage would have been very welcome too. The horrid music played over and over again on a continuous loop was awful- I really should have asked for it to be changed.

Bought as a wahanda deal, and booked 4months in advance The Ospa since has closed 3 sites (i originally wanted to use it at Windsor) and two days before my Bond Street booking they emailed to say my appointment has been cancelled. I was supposed to attend on the 18th May. I have called numerous time to rearrange but no-one has called me back. Not a happy bunny - feel as though I have been messed around.

I can get through to anybody to reschedule or a refund, and wahanda dont seem to want to help either as they say its now past the voucher expiry period!! Complete sham of a deal and sham of a place!! O Spa is located inside Austin Reed shop. I went for the foot and hand treatment and my therapist Franny was great - I was so relaxed I just feel asleep while she treated me! My hands and feet felt great afterwards for a bit of tlc and I would definitely go again on an offer.

Despite problems with booking the appointment because they were inundated, I would recommend O Spa. I haven't given it full marks because of the location, problems with booking, and being kept waiting a bit too long on arrival when there were several staff available.

Had booking for today which was four months after I tried to book and *only* date available so was looking forward to my long-awaited treat, which had been bought for me for Christmas. I was trying to find out before I went online whether they had any other spa facilities eg steam room/sauna etc and stumbled across reviews about bookings being cancelled, poor customer service etc. Was a bit more wary as their website and main telephone number were closed for maintenance (I assume pre-arranged). As I hadn't heard from them and had no way of checking on-line or by phone whether booking was still going ahead, I pitched up nice and early to be greeted by a sign saying spa was closed due to unforeseen circumstances. There was someone sat at reception so I spoke with her. She asked if I had received a call, text or e-mail. Of course I hadn't otherwise I wouldn't have wasted half of my precious bank holiday to go down there. She said everyone else had been notified (not judging by the list on her desk they hadn't). They manage to get numerous marketing e-mails to me so they can't send me an e-mail to let me know my appointment was cancelled? She said the booking system was down so they don't know what's been booked hence why they had to close (they knew that was going to happen in advance?) and then she said they were short staffed. She automatically wrote against my details to refund voucher. I want my treatments that have been paid for! I have been promised a call back tomorrow to rearrange. I'm not holding my breath judging by other people's comments. Shame on you O Spa. Must try harder.

There are many similar reviews of this spa on other sites. I believe the company is a con artist. They take your money, then at the last minute cancel the appointment and refuse to honour the voucher. Please, Trading Standards, close them down now!

I have contacted lastminute to make them aware of this and they have informed me that the New Bond street one has been closed down and they are having staffing issues at the other spas, so I had a look for the website this morning and it has been removed-hence I am not sure anyone will be getting their spa day!

I purchased a deal through a similar website; booked in January, earliest appointment offered was 23 June. This morning I received an email cancelling the appointment due to "unforeseen circumstances". I have telephoned all day, the line is either engaged or rings until it goes dead. I'm very disappointed, especially as this was a present for a friend who was coming to London especially! I have contacted the website where I purchased the deal and advised of the situation, and am waiting for a reply…

O Spa at Austin Reed was a real treat. I loved the ambience of the spa with a salon in the middle and all of the mens barbers doing shaves. the place is contemporary with many original features. there was music playing and a real buzzy atmoshpere. the receptionist did not seem up to the same standard as the other staff and was pleasant but robotic. I would expect a warmer welcome but she was very busy and did check on me after I filled in my consultation. that was my only gripe - and also last months magazines while you wait but nice refreshments! The treatment was bliss - I has a mix of 3 - the facial at the end was perfect and I left feeling really energised, refreshed and happy. ready to conquer regent street. I even bought a great little dress in the basement of austin reed which I never knew existed until I went to O spa. it was on special so I got 2 great treats in 1 day! I know where I will be starting next time I hit the west end!

After buying the voucher from Wahanda in June 2010, I was not able to make a booking due to lack of response via phone and email. I eventually recevied a reply in November 2010. Due to lack of availability for appointments, my booking for the stone massage was then made for March 2011.
I received a confirmation email 2 days before the booking date to confirm everything was still in place.
On the morning of the supposed appointment I received a phonecall advising that the therapist was apparently sick and that I would need to be rescheduled. The next available appointment would be June 2011.
I do not think that a massage from O Spa is worth waiting 12 months for. I have asked for a refund - let's hope this will be received before June 2012!

No not received it yet. They now say that the Wahanda vouchers are non-refundable as the vouchers have now expired. No surprise really given the time it's taken for this whole process! They are offering me a treatment at another branch - yet to be confirmed. Let me know how you get on!

The massage was nice but I have to share my whole experience with O SPA with you. Here it goes:
Got the Voucher on Groupon UK in May 2010, for 90 minutes, 3- 30min long treatments to choose. Booked my first appointment for July 2010 in the Windsor O Spa. Turned up for my massage only to find the place CLOSED DOWN. No one called me to tell me that, the CUSTOMER SERVICE happily took my appointment and basically forgot to mention that this place will not be open!! I emailed, I called, I got nowhere... Several weeks on the phone and I finally managed to book myself for the second time in New Bond Street for November, yes, after the first fiasco I wasn’t even offered the next appointment to be sorted for me, I had to call myself, listen to endless messages that they are 'experiencing high volume of calls, please try later' and book it again myself!! And I couldn’t make it... so I called them and told them that I won’t be able to be there, they said 'no problem, we will call you back to reschedule', surprise, surprise they never did... once again in November, on the phone for hours, got my appointment for March 2011... in Austin Reed. Receptionist interested only in her moblie phone, no smile, no interest..
Meant to have the massage at 6:30pm, after waiting 20 min and realising that they are closing at 8pm and my massage will never be 90min the masseuse said that my treatment unfortunately will be shorter as the client before was late..... No I was not taking this well... The O Spa manager (I think) took the masseuse on side and after quick chat they agreed that they will give me the full 90min treatment but they will have to let me out by the back door.. OK. The back, neck, head massage and the facial was really nice (thank you Stephanie) but I didn’t appreciate the other masseuse knocking at the door during my treatment and telling us that it was 8:15 already..... Overall... SERIOUSLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, SORT YOURSELF OUT!! Can't recommend.

Biggest joke of a facial I have ever had. This is total fraud. I had a 60min facial, Was in and out in 40mins which included me walking into the door. The ' consultataion' didn't even involve the therapist looking at my skin. She was too quick to suggest the ' new collagen mask' that they had. I was also told that my facial with wahanda voucher included no extraction and no massage. So basically it was a collagen mask for 20mins and maybe 5 mins of cleaning and 5 mins of tapping here and there which was the 'massage. Utter nonscence. When I asked why the treatment lasted only half an hour , I was told that the 60mins included everything including the form filling. even then I was out in 40mins. Big big joke.

Please go to Fenwick next door to Clarins where I have had fantastic facials.

Redeeming the voucher was a real pain (had to call and email so many times and took about 8 months all in all). However, the treatment was great and the therapist was very good and extremely friendly. Atmosphere-wise, I wouldn't recommend Regent St branch: handy location but it's a very small spa. From my treatment room I could hear everything that was going on at reception.
