I went for an evening with access to the spa facilities plus floatation plus evening meal. The floatation was amazing, followed by generous samples of products in the showers. Meal was lovely. I'd booked on line and hadn't been able to select the free gift offer. The delightful young man on reception apologised and handed my sister and myself a free gift as soon as I mentioned the problem.

If I could afford to I'd do regular membership plus a floatation every month. We didn't try any other treatments but to be honest the evening flew by just using what we had access to plus the floatation.

If you love water therapy nirvana spa is a paradise. There is the usual steam and sauna rooms but so much more than that. Amazing relaxation pool with palm trees enormous jacuzzi thats big enough to swim in relaxation quiet rooms and the highlight is the floatation pool -forget the usual small box with a few inches of salt water that is the custom for a floatation experience -at Nirvana float in a celestial paradise- look on the website for pictures of the facilities. The staff are really welcoming and the price is well worth it especially if you join on a monthly basis- if only this spa was nearer london i would be there every month.

I had a Floatation, in the massive pool, with tonnes of salt in it....FANTASTIC !*! (To be honest, I was soo relaxed, I fell asleep :-) )

I also had lunch, well I was in heaven, lots to eat, gorg cakes and the hot chocolate is to die for !*!

Would I go again, Hell Yeah, going on the 18th Oct (This Monday).

I was given a day spa for two people as a gift and never thought I would actually go as find it very hard to relax as I am constantly on the go. However, I thoroughly enjoyed my day at the spa with my best friend which was a real treat for her as well. The hydrotherapy pool was amazing and the jets really massaged your back well. The floatation experience was the best - first entering the training pool so you can be taught how to float and then how to stand back up again. I was surprised I was able to make myself stand again with the 50 tonnes of salt just in the small training pool. Then we moved into the floatation pool where soft music was playing and a very light current took you round for about 40 minutes whilst the lights were dimmed - it looked like you were floating under a starry night. Afterwards we were given a conditioning treatment to put on our hair so as not to let the volume of salt dry it out. Absolutely amazing experience and so relaxing. It enabled me to continue relaxing the rest of the day.

So after our floatation we had lunch from the salad bar and then relaxed in the tepedarium on heated sun loungers with light waterfall in the middle. We then finished off the day reading, swimming and relaxing in the Roman Room on the loungers by the pool.

Altogether an amazing spa and I will definitely going back again this year!

Hi, This is a spa that has been on my lost of places to visit but I've not got round to it. A few friends of mine have been before and enjoyed it but also said it was too busy with too many people to properly relax. Is that what you found too? Did you go in the week or the weekend?

Hiya. It is amazing. Definitely try and go this year. I have been twice, on a Monday and on the weekend. A weekday is better as it's quieter though, when I went it was fairly quiet and easy to relax as it wasn't overly busy. You do have to book treatments etc in advance as well as they get booked up quite quickly. If you have a look at their website, they have a few offers on at the moment. Web is http://www.nirvanaspa.co.uk/offers/
Let me know what you think.

A real tried and tested spa for me as it used to be so close to home!

Great facilities, offer lots of choice in treatment sand they are always at the forefront of new products, trerapies and treatments they offer to the public.
If you want a realxing break, or a romantic weekend away, the location prevents this being a spa you could combine with tranquility, and so I wouldnt recommend for that, but therapists have always given me an excellent service and reasonable rates. It wont break the bank, neither will it break records, but a really good all round choice offering a vast lst of treatments.

It's also joint to the Nirvana Gym which spa users can also use should they wish to.

I have occaisionally found staff a little frosty, but therapists always charming.

Try it out if you're local or can sneak away if you're on a nearby business trip!

Nirvana is definitely the best Spa for relaxation and treatments that I have visited in the past year. The floatation experience is something everyone should go and try. It's so relaxing and afterwards you get a chance to test some of the Spa and Fruits Products. It's great for softening your skin!
