I am not impressed with the salon and the staff; I had to wait for 40 minutes and I arrive 20 minutes so I ended up waiting an hour; nobody offered me tea or coffee either.

great salon, nice friendly people. The girl that washed my hair was lovely, she was very new to the job but was excellent. Jen cut my hair, she was excellent and did exactly what I wanted. Very impressed, will visit again!

Lovely ambiance in the salon & the stylist (Jen) was brilliant. I love what she did & will definitely be going back to Muse again.

Great ambiance and attention. The Stylist understood what I wanted and the haircut was great. The only problem was that I had to waut almost 30 minutes for my appointment.

Good atmosphere and really pleased with the highlights. Also beautician downstairs who does gels so you can get nails done while you wait for highlights.

Had a great overall experience- The lovely Irish lady (sorry I'm bad with names) who was my hairdresser for the appointment was very nice and clearly a very talented hairdresser. I was very pleased with my hair.

I had a Bleach and Toner treatment which came out lovely. Muse of London is one of my favourite salons. There's a great area to relax and have a cup of coffee and the stylists do a great job.

Nice and friendly folks . The hair looked ok after the blow dry but realised that it was very unevenly layered after the first wash. Had to go back to my regular hairdresser the next week to get it sorted.

Carly is an outstanding stylist. I recommend her and the salon very highly! The service is excellent and they truly listen to what you want.

I have just been to Lisa Shepherd in London using the £69 voucher for half a head of highlights, cut and blow dry and really couldn't have been happier. Went in for my patch test 48 hours before after receiving a text reminder. On the day, colour and cut are both excellent. Loved chatting with Jamie during my highlights and also had a good natter with the guy who cut and blow dried my hair (can't remember his name but he was lovely). There was a little wait before I was seated but the salon was busy and there were only 4 staff working. This also gave me time to wolf down my lunch! I also didn't mind the move to the chill out area for my hair colour to set. I happily helped myself to tea and water. Overall very happy, highlights are great and cut was just what I asked for. I think some of the other reviews on here are a bit unfair as my experience was excellent. I would definitely go back.

The salon is great, Ipads and plenty of drinks to help yourself to while waiting.

The hairdresser listened to what I wanted and I was happy with the cut.

Had the first appt of the morning to have the Receptionist tell me that my colorist had called in sick! never happened to me before. I had to wait 45min for another colorist to finsh off her client, she was not happy about that either!! I felt she did a nice color but did not really do what I had asked for. What I am starting to realize about these so called deals is that the salons that do these promotions need the business. Most of them are severly lacking in good customer service!! no deal will be worth it if the service is lacking and poor no matter what the cost!!! Most likely will not go back!!!!

There isn't anything special about the cut. I wanted to keep the length but style the front as I was going to a wedding. The hairdresser hardly trimmed anything at the front but changed the shape at the back. It's grown out unevenly and I'll have to wait for it to grow out before it can be evened up. I was disappointed with the blow dry because it should have been done with a brush to make it smooth and then ironed smooth. Instead it was rough dried and ironed. Not suitable for my hair. I was disappointed and I won't be going back and won't recommend it.

This was a funny experience. There was a great customer relaxation area that I was pointed to. I had to then make my own drinks etc. This was fine but it felt a bit impersonal and no one gave me a welcome. The haircut itself was great, but it's a large salon and I didn't feel special, lol. The magazines were also a bit naff ;) Maybe it's me, but I do like to feel pampered - or at least like I matter! x

The staff we too 'busy' to make an effort with any of the customers. My stylist didn't listen to anything that I said when I first arrived, i.e. my hair is very curly and thick therefore would like a fairly short cut (an inch or so above my shoulders) with rounded layers. She then promptly cut off ALL my hair into a BOB that would be more suited to straight hair. It seemed to be her only forte. After a half-hearted attempt to defuse my hair she then said she'd leave it a little damp...its freezing outside!!!

To top it all off I had to wait in the que for about 10 minutes to pay whilst another disgruntled customer got told that her appointment had been cancelled on her (without a phone call).

The budget deals are good but you definitely get what you pay for!! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, my advice...stay well away!!!

Its a lovely looking salon, and has lots of nice little extras - choice of drinks, biscuits etc. The staff are friendly and not at all pretentious. My hair looked great at the end and I was really happy, until the next day when it came to styling it myself - I just couldn't get it to that same quality again. I'm not that good at that sort of thing anyway, but I think one of the important measures of a good cut is that you can easily style it yourself. So overall, just an ok cut.

Lovely salon - very friendly & well trained stylists.
I've been here a few times now & always felt looked after & the stylists have always listened to what I wanted. They also have a great chillout area that you can wait in (or while your colour takes effect) with tea/coffee/ magazines & even ipads!

Very nice atmosphere and space and the staff is looking after you. They take time with you to understand what you want and advise you. On the top they offer you a nice drink! Always nice ;-)

The haircut was good, I really didn't want too much taken off the length and the stylist took that on board unlike other hairdressers I've been to. He also advised me on the style of my hair as I was unsure about how much to have taken off the layers. The blowdry was great and my hair feels really smooth. I don't think it was worth the face value price as there was nothing particularly special about it, but didn't mind this time since I had a half price voucher.

I went back to Lisa Shepherd because I enjoyed my first visit and the price was reasonable - £75 for full head highlights (with 50% introductory discount)
I've recently received a text message with 30% off any service for all customers and decided to take advantage of it.
I asked specifically for a stylist of level 1 or 2 (i wanted to have a trim and wasn't too bothered about a highly qualified stylist) and the lady on the phone confirmed there was one available the following week. She booked me in with a stylist level 2.
At the end of my cut&blow dry session they charged me £10 more than what was quoted initially. Appatently the stylist appeared to be of level 3, not 2 as they'd told me on the phone.
I don't mind paying more to a good professional, but I find it very sneaky to assign a higher level stylist without you even knowing it.and you have no choice but pay more in the end. In addition, I must admit that she wasn't even THAT great!
