Welcoming staff and a great treatment room. I had eyelash extensions and loved them! They looked beautiful and lasted a couple of weeks. Overall a great experience and fantastic value for good quality eyelash extensions.

The beauty shop was difficult to find as it was situated at the back of a furniture shop! The therapist was nice but brisk.
The eyelashes started to come off two days after they were attached even though I adhered to the instructions. Four weeks later they were all off so I wasn't overly impressed.

I just had my eyelashes done for the first time and I really like them. The venue is basic but nice the 30min appointment felt a little bit rushed but not unprofessional. The ony thing that surprised me a bit was that some of lashes close to the eye were cut in the end which is visible, I guess it would have been better to use shorter ones. Hopefully they'll last now for the promised 3-6weeks...

I absolutely loved my eyelash extentions - it looked very natural and it lasted for about 3 weeks. It looked so beautiful that I did not need to wear any make-up while it lasted.

Having had lash extensions once before (Ginny Lashes) I found the lashes used at Mia Bella awful by comparison. The application was uncomfortable and the lashes irritating to wear - still waiting to get rid of the final few to drop out!

Service frmo therapist could have been a bit more polished, she was very friendly but had personal conversations on the telephone whilst carrying out the treatment. Eyelashes didn't stay info as long as the last time I visited but I think this may have been my fault as I still had the remnants of eye make up from the morning on my lashes

I had the full set of eyelash extensions. Was done quickly and I'm thrilled with the results. Only thing was that the place was very difficult to find and I had to call for help finding it despite having the new address. It's located at the back of the furniture store on Blandford St now. I will probably go back to have them done again :)

I found Mia Bella very professional especially the way everything
was explained to me before I had my eye lashes done.
The salon was clean and the atmosphere is very calm and relaxing.
I loved my lashes and can't wait to have them done again......

I visited Mia last year after purchasing a mobdeal of eyelash extensions... I have had this treatment done lot's of times before and I have to say was very surprised that the appointments were only half an hour long as other places book out at least 2 hours for a full set. First of all I was straight in after her previous client - the couch roll had not been changed, I could see where it has been ripped and she asked me to get straight on the bed (with no towel or head rest) not the most hygenic! Mia was nice and was good to chat to however she answered her phone twice during my treatment, not very professional. When I left I was happy with my eyelashes, they looked full and thick just how I wanted. However, when I got home my eyes were irritated, I believe the glue she used was far too strong and only when inspecting closer I realised she had actually CUT my bottom eyelashes to unstick the glue at the end of the treatment!! Totally uneccasary - no one has ever had to do this before. After a couple of days I thought the eyelashes still looked good but they felt heavy and were pushing in to my eyelids. After speaking to my friend who is a pro at eyelashes she told me that Mia had actually stuck the eyelashes to my eyelids rather than my actual lashes using too much glue, which is apparently a huge no no and why my eyes were feeling irritated. She told me I should get them removed as soon as possible so I asked her to remove them for me, this was such an uncomfortable process compared to when I have had them removed before and left my eyelids sore, due to the amount of remover and pulling it took to remove the lashes from my eyelids! Mia is a nice woman and I can understand the money making behind half an hour appointments but people are still spending money regardless of whether it's cut price or not so should get what is actually advertised from a professional.

Had my eyelashes done Mia was nice very friendly she works very quickly. The place wasn't that great felt a bit cold upon arrival. Staff was alright. I don"t think I will go back just because i need to give my eyelashes a rest.

Well - three weeks after I had my eyelash extensions put in, they still look gorgeous and only about 5 have fallen out. I'm so happy with the whole experience that I will definitely go again to Mia Bella - in fact, I won't bother trying anyone else.
Mia Bella rents a small, clean and bright room at the back of a boutique hair salon, which isn't hard to find when you know what to look for. The whole session took about 40 minutes and was pleasant and painless. The result: Natural and full eyelashes that are perfectly applied - I couldn't stop showing people up close, as you could genuinely not tell they were fake.
I would recommend Mia Bella to all, I am more than satisfied with the result and value for money.

It was a disappointing start - I had to call three times before Mia Bella had her appointment book but the facilities were clean, she was efficient and friendly enough. I am also happy with the length and thickness of the lashes. The only thing I didn't particularly like was the tape that was placed on my lower lashes. They didn't come out when it was removed but I prefer to have them kept out of the way with cotton pads. Overall, good value.

I asked for dramatic and kind of obvious eyelashes and that's exactly what I got. Long and naturally curled. I absolutely loved them. When I got eyelash extensions elsewhere, I asked for them to be natural and as much as I ended up really enjoying them, I figured that I'm paying for new lashes, so I might aswell make a big change. (It's not like it's permanent!). When I put a bit of mascara on these (to keep them in shape) and on my bottom lashes, I achieve the 'Bambi' look. I have a huge problem, though. The eyelashes on my left eye are still in great shape, however, my right eye is a completely different story. 90% of the lashes have fallen out so I look quite comical (this happened less than 2 weeks after I got them done). To be fair, I didn't look after them to the best of my ability, but I certainly didn't do anything that could make so many of the lashes fall out so suddenly. I might just go elsewhere to have them fixed or just wait 'til the rest fall out. I haven't decided yet. I also didn't have an even amount of lashes on each eye. I took a photo and counted around 10 more on my left eye. There needed to be much more on each eye. I'm still searching for my regular eyelash place and I certainly won't be going back here.

I don't know if there's a message function on here, but if you want pictures, let me know!

I booked my appointment by phoning Mia. She texted me 25/01 to rearrange the appointment to 1/2. When I arrived I only found the salon on the off chance, it is actually a hairdresser, who was very nice but no sign off Mia and she isn't answering her telephone, so complete rip off! Don't do it...

This experience was a nightmare from start to finish. The therapist arrived forty minutes late. The premises were not a beauty clinic, but a hairdressers-come bric-a-brac shop. The hairdresser was pleasant, but he had no connection with Mia Bella. Probably, she wouldn't have turned up at all, but for my attempts to contact her on her mobile. I regret those attempts now. The couch was covered in dirty towels. She didn't wash her hands at all and appeared to be eating an apple at one stage. The tattoo machine, which she extracted from a holdall, looked old and grubby. She took telephone calls throughout and seemed to be in a great hurry. She tattooed my eyebrows and lips in just over an hour, including 'consultation' , if you can call it that. She made it clear that the cost of the treatment was not worth her while. No follow up was offered, despite the written terms of the offer, and no questionnaire completed. The procedure was excrutiatingly painful. Both my eyebrows and lips bled profusely. The numbing gel to my lips had been applied at the start of the appointment, so its effect had probably worn off. There is no lip blush effect whatsoever - just a wobbly chocolate-coloured lipline and my eyebrows look old fashioned - no individual hair effect whatsoever. I'm praying that they will look better in a few weeks time. Worst of all, I've just found out from health and safety that, even though, the needle may have been new, there is a serious risk of contracting HIV or hepatitis if the machine itself is not sterile, which, clearly, this was not. I just wish I could rewind the clock. Incidentally, I booked through Wowcher, so paid up front. BEWARE.

Brilliant would and have recommended Mia Bella. I have had perm eyelash a few times and this was by far the best. She was really quick applying and they stayed on forever. They came out gradually over a 7 weeks. I did top them up witha few here and there but they were the best ones I've had.

I went to Mia Bella for eyelash extensions and the service was okay enough. Mia asked what kind of look I wanted and then she took it from there. The whole thing felt a little rushed and the results were okay. Not sure if I would return again.

The eyelashes were great value for money at £38 and a great option if you are short of time as my usual eyelash extensions cost £80 and whilst they are much fuller they take 3 hours where as this appointment was only 40 mins but the therapist was quite unprofessional giving me the incorrect address for the appointment and eating and talking on the mobile phone throughout the appointment

Average, lashes were half set and glue was very strong it made me cry. Atmosphere was great but felt very rushed in 30 minutes. Some lashes fell out after a week even after being extremely careful, but some stayed for up to a month.

Slightly odd location at the back of a gift shop and hairdressers, but friendly staff are happy for customers to wait in the main shop before going in. She is obviously an experienced therapist and knows what she's doing, however I felt the process was rushed and impersonal, I was not advised or given any choice as to what effect I could go for and the lashes I got were extremely long and false looking and I had to ask for them to be cut down a little. After care advice was cursory, and overall I don't feel she was interested in encouraging customers to return.
