Both myself and partner enjoyed our time at the hotel thouroughly. We really enjoyed the spa facilities, espeacially the aromatherapy massage. The hotel had just had a referb which was to a high standard, and the rooms looked great. I would definitley return again in the future.
My husband and I purchased this offer for £99, which included an overnight stay, breakfast for two, a 30 minute treatment each and full use of the pool, gym, suana and steam room. The hotel was lovely, not the most attractive from the outside picture(!) however the rooms and bathrooms were lovely and the decor around reception and in the restaurant was nice. We used the voucher on a Sunday/Monday so that the facilites weren't too busy. We arrived on the Sunday and used the pool, suana etc and then had dinner in the restaurant. The pool and sauna were fine, nothing fancy but clean. The changing rooms were a little tired/aged. We didn't end up using the gym but walking through it, it looked very large and had plenty of equipment. The restaurant had fantastic staff and the food was great (amazing mussels!). On the Monday we had breakfast which was a buffet with cereal, yogurt, pastries, crossiants plus cooked breakfast. Again the staff were lovely and the food fab. We had our treatments on the Monday. I had a facial which was very relaxing and included a head massage. I wouldn't say it was the most luxurious one I've ever had, but it did the job! My husband had a back, neck and shoulder massage and he enjoyed it. I also had my nails done (gel ones) as the salon itself had an offer on these and I paid for this separately. Overall we enjoyed the experience and it was good value, however, I don't think I would pay full price for all of the above. Parts of the hotel and spa were a little old, but because the staff were great it made you not notice so much. I would use the hotel again if there was an offer on and I would go back to have my nails done. I'm not sure I'd go back for other beauty treatments, not because they weren't good but because I would prefer a nicer setting and a little more luxury!
