I had a wowcher voucher for a treatment at Magic Fairies. Unfortunately I cannot comment on the result as I was met with their level of customer service instead. After being stuck in traffic for 1hr30mins whilst in constant communication with a nice lady who understood my situation, I obviously missed my appointment and was willing to book another one. I have never been there so I thought I would locate the place whilst in the area for next time I return. Finally arriving over 30mins past my appointment, not only did the so called manager not empathise with me, as the nice lady explained (to my face) why I needed to pay a £5 fine for "Not turning up for my appointment" the manager felt the need to rudely engage in the conversation which she pointed me to. I was highly frustrated, pregnant and disappointed at the lack of consideration shown by the manager as opposed to the totally apologetic staff. After the long stressfull journey getting there, I have decided I would rather lose my voucher, as I am unwilling to pay the charge for "not turning up".

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!
First time at this "beauty centre". I had a Hollywood Wax and I'm sorry to say that after my experience I would definitely NOT recommend Magic Fairies. I got the serious impression the beautician didn't know how to do her job. It took her 45 minutes (normally this treatment takes around 20 minutes) to NOT finish the total wax I booked for. She stopped herself a couple of times and then she decided to leave me with some hair because, she said, "she didn't want to keep waxing and further damaging my skin which looked too sensitive". I had to tell her to keep going on in order to remove as much as possible but I gave up at the end. Of course she had to deal with sensitive parts but I think that if you know how to properly do your job you shouldn't be scared to finish it!! I was really tempted to ask for a discount as the service was incomplete but I didn't want to upset anyone.
Terrible experience, altogether. Waste of time and money! Will not be going back there.

Hello everyone, I want to say something about Magic fairies. I was there last week, for first time. I had my hair and manicure done. I'm very happy from the results and feel so happy. The girls were very smiley and friendly. I felt like at home. They know how to treat people and make them feel welcome and comfortable. I would say only- well done girls, coming back for sure... :)

I had my vouchers from KGB for highlights and eyelashes with eyebrows tint and shape. It was my first time in Magic fairies. I had very relaxing experience with the eyelashes I felt fully relaxed and the results was very good, I had natural looking eyelahses, after that were my eyebrows. The hairdresser didn't speak very much, but was very friendly and smiley. All the staff made me feel comfortable, I will go back. Simply the best :) Thank you girls.

I came here on a KGB deal I booked for eyelash extensions, eyebrow tint & shape. The eyelashes were AMAZING - I asked for the longest length they had and even though it took two hours to get them all in, I left with wonderfully full and skilfully applied lashes. Unfortunately however, nobody in the salon seemed capable of doing my eyebrows and when I mentioned this to the therapist she was very dismissive and said she'd 'try to find someone that could do them for me'. It was a part of the deal! In the end I had my eyebrows (badly) threaded whilst hanging off the end of a chair because nobody had figured out that it's better to do that sort of thing on a flat service. Great for the lashes but they really need to work on their professionalism and not advertise things they cannot do!

Good but not magical, in need of good size towel and not make do with a hand towel as a form of cover whilst having treatment.

I had my lashes done (extensions) and I'm loving them. They look so natural - I've had them done once before and the result was not so good, I was disappointed because they looked false. So many people are commenting on them saying they look natural. The problem is now I think I might get addicted because without them I always wear mascara & eyeliner because my lashes are short.

Hi, OH OH This is so different and nice. I didn't visit Magic fairies hair and beauty for very long time. My first time was on the begging, when they just opened... The atmosphere was nice, but now some people from the staff are new, they did so many changes and I really enjoyed every service, I had. I will definitely go back and recommend it :)

I went to the salon for a hair cut last week, it was very well decorated and the ambience was really nice. Straight away the owner made me feel welcomed and relaxed.

The hair stylist understood exactly what I wanted and did a nice job.

On the way out the owner offered me 5% discount for any future bookings so I booked the manicure and facial as well.

All in all it was a great experience and I am certainly going back in there again next week.

Visited the salon last week, the place looks really nice and it doesn't have the see through glass on the outside like most salon (where people can see from outside to inside while walking by) so you feel really relaxed and will have your own privacy. It kind of feels like going to a spa, relaxing and calm. This is very unique and don't usually find it in many salons unless you go to really posh salons in knightsbridge.

I did my hair straightening and then hair cut, I explained to her what I wanted and she followed everything accordingly, kept offering me teas and coffees through out the process (as hair straightening takes over an hour). Over all a wonderful experience, I will definitely come back and recommend others too.

The Staff were rude and the hair cut wasn't very good. Would definitely never go back.
There seem to be issues with booking for everyone that came in.

I agree that communication was difficult as the stylist could not speak English. I did not get the colour I wanted and in fact the colour I did get was exactly what I did not want. The cut was also lop sided and I am looking forward to my next appointment elsewhere to get it all rectified. Overall a very disappointing experience.

OH NO...would not recommend Magic Fairies. First of all, I did not have a time slot (when I got there, even though I had booked way in advance, both therapists were engaged with other people and had to wait half an hour to be seen). Secondly, the haircut is not good at all - fringe is totally asymmetrical, had to 'adjust' it myself at home and you can imagine the result! Also, the whole thing was very rushed (which is why it was bad) - it was done in 25 minutes rather than 45 as the other lady was on the chair with the hair die in waiting to be washed by the same lady who was cutting my hair! And on top of all of that, they tried to charge me extra at the end saying that what I had done was 'styling' rather than just a simple cut - which is what the voucher included. Terrible experience, altogether. Will not be going back there.

I went in for a very simple trim. The lady did not speak a word of English, but considering I just wanted a tidy up I thought it would be fine. I asked for the layers to be trimmed. I came out with no layers and she chopped right in to the fringe I had been growing out for the last year before my wedding in a few months. Even after saying stop when she started chopping away at my fringe she carried on! Now I have only a few months to try to grow back the 4 inches of fringe that has been chopped off! Needless to say I definitely won't be going back!
Also, the 'deal' I bought would have been cheaper if I had gone through the salon rather than Wahanda

I was looking for a cheap haircut, nearby my house in a friendly salon. Magic Fairies had just opened up down the road and had a great deal on for a cut and blowdry through Wahanda. Friendly staff (hairdresser couldn't speak much english, but that was fine since she was really friendly) lovely place, decent haircut - all in all a happy customer.

This place is a little gem, though a little hard to find- so google it before!

Staff are nice and friendly, the place was quite quiet when I went so it was quite relaxing. It's amazing value for money for a haircut in London, and the blow dry was good too.

Simona was very friendly, I really enjoyed the treatment. Place is really nice, they just opened and everything looks great. Value for treatment as well was good, I spent there 1.5h and it was nice to chill out with relaxing masks.
