This is amazing value for money and the treatments were great! All the spa staff were extremely friendly and helpful explained what products they were using and why. Lunch was lovely and the treatment/relaxation rooms were really relaxing and well designed for a luxury feel. The poolside area was a bit like what you would find in a leisure centre rather than a spa but the sauna and steam room were very clean and almost empty for the duration of our visit. To echo other reviews below the only let down of the day was the bar staff (which I appreciate was nothing to do with the spa). They were very uninterested in serving us and it took 25 minutes for us to get one cocktail and they weren't cheap either! Other than that we had a fab relaxing day and would absolutely go back! :)

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday afternoon with my bestie to unwind after the Christmas rush. We opted for a 1/2 hr facial with afternoon tea. The pool/ poolside were ok. The sauna recently renovated and very clean. Good value for money. The afternoon tea was nice (except we ditched the tea and bought a bottle of prosecco- which was lovely!). The spa staff were great. Very attentive and pleasant. After our treatments once we were all pampered the girl at spa reception escorted us upstairs to the hotel bar as we decided to go all out and treat ourselves to a wee champagne cocktail before going home. That's where the overall experience was let down a bit. The bar staff were surly and unhelpful which was a real shame. They were obviously busy cleaning the bar but we felt we were intruding and eyes were rolled at the thought of having to make up cocktails. Not what I'd expect from a hotel that charges £10 for a mojito. We stayed for a couple regardless to the clear annoyance of the staff (even though there were only 2 others in the whole place) but wouldn't go back I'm afraid. Even gave the girl at the bar a £5 tip when settling my bill (champagne in the brain) which was taken without a thank you which just about summed it up.

My mum, sister and I had a fantastic day here. It is a lovely place (would be even better in summer if you could sit outside, lovely gardens), friendly staff who were very accommodating and nice afternoon tea. The pool was nice and warm and the sauna and steam room were good however we were a little disappointed that there was no Jacuzzi (didn't spot this when booking but didn't make too much difference). The back massage was very nice but did not last 30 mins, more like 15 for the actual massage itself, I was left for 5 mins before and 5 mins after to make up the time which I was a little disappointed in but this is the only thing I could say was a negative. All in all I would go back and would recommend this to people especially at the £40 price.

Spa was lovely people were really friendly and kind. Massage was brilliant as I had a few different areas I wanted worked on and they went over them. We had the afternoon tea and it was delicious. All in all a great experience would highly recommend.

The room was lovely as was the food. There was confusion to what the deal consisted maybe have separate dinner menu. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help.

This Spa day was suppose to be on the 26th July didn't take place till the 3rd August so off to a bad start. There are plenty of Spa staff but No one seems to want to take responsibility for anything. Lunch was Lovely. We had an Afternoon Tea choice. My Therapist Sarah was Lovely and very good but there was 4 of us and 4 different Therapists so while talking over lunch It became quite obvious they all did things quite different some better than others. When we wanted to leave it all became quite messy although the young man who dealt with it did his best and after a while sorted it all for us. Would I go back Well I have been told since that the Hotel has a New General Manager so who knows Maybe next year if a deal is available then we'll try again but if it was still as bad then I won't be so Gentle with my review.

My partner & I had a fantastic time! The spa facilities & treatment were spot on & well worth the money. Our room was clean, spacious & over all wonderful. The dinner was definetly worth every penny! The steak, chips & creamy mash were out of this world. We had a great day/night which made my partners birthday that llittle bit more special! Thank you again.
