The spa was lovely. The staff were very friendly. The pool was big and quiet which was nice and the steam and sauna rooms were big and clean.
The massage was amazing and I had to go home for a sleep after as it made me so relaxed and tired.
They have a lovely relaxation room which would have been nice to use befor the massage but you go in to it after. We would have stayed longer but we had an afternoon tea booked and we were hungry by then.
The only disappointment was there is no jacuzzi.
I would go back again just for the massage but I missed not having a jaccuzi to relaxin.

We arrived at the hotel on Saturday, staff were nice. Our room was clean but a bit on the cold side. We had dinner which was nice. In the morning we went for breakfast and got a table straight away, we ordered coffee. It took a while for us to be asked our breakfast order and when we did we mentioned that we were still waiting on our coffee and the waitress replied it's on its way! We recieved our breakfast which was good, but still no coffee which eventually came after we had finished breakfast. I feel that for a Sunday morning in the hotel there should have been more staff working. We had spa treatments, I had a back massage and my mother had a facial. My mum enjoyed her facial, but my massage was not great I felt as though the therapist had just skimmed over areas and never done many movements, my back was still sore afterwards and the massage made no difference so very disappointed by this!!

Staff were immaculately presented and very professional and there was a lovely peaceful informal atmosphere. Cleanliness around the pool could have been better, spotted wet used wipe or tissue in overflow. Also loungers a bit grubby around feet area, so didnt want to take slippers off. Poolside toilet needs drainage or mopped out much more regularly, not v pleasant in there, big puddles that are deeper than your towelling slippers so wet feet. Lunch was relaxed, enjoyable and v good value. We couldn't finish ours and were v kindly given a doggy bag to take our remaining cakes with us for later.

Very friendly professional service. A good range of facilities. Was hoping for a Jacuzzi but there wasn't one so used the sauna and steam room instead. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Delicious be to box lunch

Overall an excellent service

It was wonderful. Such an enjoyable relaxing time spent with my mum. Loved it so much I would book this again. Great value for money. The only thing missing to "really" complete the experience is if the hotel had a hot tub. One other nice touch which we would have loved is if we could have sunbathed outside. The pool area needs French doors and outdoor patio as it was actually a very lovely summers day for Scotland.

A great day, relaxing with friends. Pool just right, quiet, warm and a reasonable size. Afternoon tea just right. Facial lovely. Even had coffee and snack which was complimentary. Will go back for sure.

When we arrived they didn't take us through the tour of to get our robes etx, instead waited till 5minutes before our treatment was due at 12pm and my mum had to say to the gentleman behind the reception, which is ricdiculous. The girls for the massage then had he been to tell us it was time for our treatment so we had to be ready! The treatment itself was a back neck and shoulder massage and my back didn't feel much different at all hey also used a like extract lotion Whixh I had already informed them I was highly allergic to! So no pool for me as the chlorine would make that worse. The pool looked clean aside from the couple gettig intimate in the corner before moving into the sauna, yet no staff member around to see that.

Overall the venue is a little run down, the retaurant was lovely and the food was nice, but the staff for the spa were by no means friendly. I wouldn't return

Loved it here and had a great day out for my mums birthday. After noon tea was good but would've liked a pot of tea rather than a cup at a time! Loved treatment and very relaxing.
