Firstly I have to say that the massage was amazing. The let down was the general attitude of the staff which was appalling- customer service was awful. The afternoon tea was disgusting and overly sugary and tasted like it was from greggs.

Lovely Spa, everything very clean and new. All sorts of facilities - the most unusual was the snow cave - bracing and certainly got the blood pumping! Staff were all very polite and helpful. Also included use of the County Club pool which was massive. We had a voucher bought through Wahanda which included a Mud Rasul which was excellent when compared to another one we have done in the past. We also had 'afternoon tea' included which we thought would be a cup of tea and a piece of cake - we got the tea part right, but we were presented with a triple layer container of cakes and sandwiches - not our most healthiest of trips but really really yummy!! Highly recommended!

This was a really lovely spa and I would go again. The facilities were lovely and a great choice of relaxation rooms. Our only complaint was that even though we ordered our afternoon tea in advance and booked a time, they were not ready for us and we had quite a wait. Also when we checked in and filled in the paperwork, even though I wrote down that I was dairy free, I had a very long wait for soya milk to come from the main kitchen to the lounge kitchen, so these two things could have been avoided if communication had been better within the team.
However, an amazing spa and superb facilities, thank you.

My husband and I took advantage of the Autumn Break for 2 at the Lion Quays Spa. Having not been there before I was wondering what to expect and my husband wasn't exactly enthusiastic being a blokey bloke. On arrival we were greeted by very helpful, pleasent staff and were shown to our lockers where we found robe, slippers and towels. We were shown around the Spa and were very impressed with the facilties and couldn't wait to use them. We both enjoyed full body hot stones massages which was very relaxing and soothing. We then went on to enjoy the fanastic thermal suite, which was followed by a Sanopsa bath, and a complimentary glass of bubbly. What better way to spend an afternoon! As part of our package we enjoyed a sumptuous afternoon tea, with delicious sanwiches, cakes galore, and scones with cream and jam. We spent a perfect 5 hours of tranquility at the Spa and came away refreshed and relaxed. My husband is a changed man and was very impressed with the Spa, he enjoyed every minute and we will definately be going back.
A wonderful experience and lovely Spa, great facilities and attentive staff. Absolutely smashing and highly recommended.

I was only there for a day but it felt like I had stayed for the weekend. The ambience and facilities were first class and it was excellent value for money. My friends and I were upset when it was time to go home, this was our first visit to Lion Quays but it will definately not be the last.
Thank you to everyone who helped to make our day so enjoyable.

I spent a midweek day at the spa with my sister - and we absolutely loved it. We couldn't believe it only cost £35 for the whole day - which included using all the facilities (great jacuzzi, pools, saunas, steam rooms, and the relaxation beds which were so comfy we were practically snoozing within minutes!), For our money we also got a rasul mud treatment - a self application of mud which we got to put on in a steam room especially allocated to us (although we could have done with being given a bit more mud - it dries very quickly!), that followed a steam and rainshower - and we came out with skin with felt 10 times more silkier and smoother! And we also got the most delicious tea (with sandwiches, cakes, scones) - it was way too much for both of us to finish off. Overall we were more than impressed, this is one of the best spa experiences we've ever had - and we'd totally go back for more! We spent from 10.30 to 4pm at the spa, but could have stayed there even longer (if we hadn't be lured by the Cheshire Oaks shopping outlet - just 30 mins away...well you can't beat a great spa AND shopping - all in a day!!!).

I travelled up from Devon to stay with a friend in North Wales and whilst there we booked the Spa Retreat Day. Overall the day was amazing. The only problem I found was that some of the equipment in the Spa was not working and there were workmen in the spa area, which is not nice if you are very self conscious like me!! Don't get me wrong, they were keeping themselves to themselves and were getting on with the job in hand.

The treatments I had were lovely, a full body massage with hot oils, a 30 minute facial and a mini manicure. I do actually wish I had gone for the hour facial instead of 30 minutes but I will remember that for next time.

I found the lunch menu a little limited and I was disappointed that I didn't get the croissant on arrival that my friend had promised me. It is little extra touches like this that make the experience even more enjoyable.

I would definitely come here again and would recommend to friends although it is a long way to travel just for a spa day!!

Lovely resort. Very clean and modern. Not as grand as some spas I have been to but had fascinating treatments I had never heard of before, such as a snow cave and light therapy room for vitamin D. Amazing. We had a wonderful lunch and the treatments were fantastic. Would highly recommend a visit, the hotel accross the complex and restaurant were also excellent.
