I took my friend as a 50th birthday treat and spent the whole day relaxing. We had the mud thingy which was quite good fun and then a hot stone massage which we both found to be very relaxing! We also very much enjoyed both the steam room and the jacuzzi. Everyone we met both staff and clients were friendly and overall we had a fab day!
Nice little spa and enjoyed using the facilities. Booked a luxury mud serail bath treatment as an anniversary gift for my husband. Couldnt have been more disappointed with this. We were led to a dismal room with a stingy bowl of mud which was barely enough for a thin application for both of us. There were no candles or anything to make it seem luxury or special. We then sat in the steam room. It had not been cleaned properly from the last use and there was a muddy buttock print on the seat from the person before! The steaming was on a timer and after a few minutes a red light came on the ceiling and showers turned on above us. The water was absolutely boiling hot and scalded both of us. It was agony and we both had to run out of the steam room. We then had to rinse off in the shower outside. I had red marks on my shoulders which were sore for a while after. The mud had no discernible effect on our skin. I had expected other products such as a cream to apply after but there was nothing. Overall the experience was not relaxing or luxury or even particularly enjoyable. Did not expect to get scalded. Advertised treatment time was 45 minutes but it was finished after 20. Very very disappointed and embarrassed as it was a gift which was not impressive at all. When we mentioned our complaints to staff we were given a free day pass to return to use the facilities but this is not much use as we do not live locally.
I had the Serali Mud Treatment It was a thoroughly relaxing and great treatment to smoothen out the skin. I left feeling like I had the skin of a baby. The venue is set in beautiful surroundings. The Stafff were extremely friendly. I would definately recommend this treatment to anybody and the venue too.
We enjoyed our evening at the Spa. The facilities were very new and nicely designed. But although new, there were a few small niggles - The jacuzzi didn't work when we pushed the button but then came on randomly when we least expected it and went off again randomly. There weren't enough chairs to sit on around the pool. We never got a chance to sit down as the few chairs were already "reserved" with other people's towels on them. We didn't know where to go when we wanted a simple rest. Also, the main corridor which separates the dressing rooms / pool area with the other treatment rooms was swilling in water and it was an area people walked through with shoes on. The serail mud treatment cabin had no music or lights working. Having said all that, it was still amazing value and a nice venue. I would go back if there were another deal, but not sure would pay full price.
Went with my mum and sister as a birthday treat for my mum. Generally good experience and good value all round, would recommend. We really enjoyed our facials and relaxing in the spa.
